Hello All! Just checking in before I call it a night. The kids are home until tomorrow for Easter break so it was a busy day around here with trying to work and hang out with them.
The big news of the day is that Kyle broke his arm this evening at the baseball field while getting ready for the game. They were running backwards across the field during warm ups and Kyle somehow tripped or lost his balance and landed on his left arm and wrist. I wasn't even there yet. We live across from the field so it makes it so convenient that he can just walk over by himself.
Lauren was getting her shoes on then we were heading out the door. It was 15 minutes before the game started and the phone rang. I saw one of the coaches names come up on the caller id. I just knew that was not a good sign.
The doctor referred to it as a 'buckle' fracture. The ulna was broken across right below the wrist and 'buckled' in as he referred to it. Kyle has to go back on Thursday for a regular cast once the swelling goes down. He may only need the cast on for 4 weeks.
Lauren was such a great helper.I gave her the car key and had her take Kyle over to the car while I gathered up his things. She patted and rubbed his head all the way to the hospital whenever he cried.
She got to help the doctor put on the temporary cast. She was very proud.
As for the weekend, glad to see everyone had a nice time.
Chris: The eggs were very cute.
Cathy: That sounds like such fun. I can not imagine decorating and hiding 25 dozen eggs but I am sure you have helpers. The idea is really great though.
They're calling for rain the next two days so I need to go out and pick up a few things before I go to bed. Have a nice week.

Lisa,
Poor Kyle!

Lauren good job.

We had the rain here yesterday and we have it today. It is also cold here. It is only going to be in the 40's. BUt at least it is not snow.
