Well, Mary, now I know where to go for my cruise inside info. Where can I find your trip reports? I have only been on 2 Disney cruises, but this is the one that I was so excited to be on. I can't wait to see who is going to be with us...you have made some awsome cruises, I'll bet.

I didn't leave the wedding last night until the end. DH didn't want to go...he really missed out. It was beautiful. Makayla just danced and danced all night. I told you she is 4 going on 16. She was the life of the party. I just sat back and watched her...it was quite entertaining.

I wonder if I will ever be on time to get a pirate or Elizabeth Swan symbol. I am such a loser...not a one.

I have to take a nap this afternoon so that I am awake enough at midnight!

Have a great day everyone and good luck getting those ressies you want!

Blessings,
Susan

Good morning everyone - happy Sunday!

Susan all our trip reports are up on the web page but to make it easier I've put the links below. We never did get around to doing one on the website for 2008 but I've included a link to the "live from" report we did here on the DIS.

We have been lucky to be on a number of fantastic cruises. Each one does take on its own vibe. For example one not listed was our May 2008 cruise. The cruise group was very small and not into it at all. Some weeks I'd be doing my weekly update and it would be on the same page as the previous weeks. :lmao: In fact the group was so small and not interactive that we decided not to bother making buttons for the group. Still we were sailing with very good friends and the 6 of us had a great time.

Enjoy your reading!

Everyone ready to book PALO ?

Well I survived my trip to Disney World and the Long Drive back.

It reminded me of one of those sayings "A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work" . It was nice being at Beach Club, but with Andrew sick and then needing a root canal done there was tough. The my 86 year old mother in law volunteering to come along with us made it even more of a challenge. Don't get me wrong I love her but it was like bringing a baby.

Plus part of the trip was preparing Bruce who worked in the Contempory Wave restaurant packed up to retun home, did I mention he got a speeding ticket down there so I had to dpend a good part of the day in the Orange County court house.

Anyways ... It was like they say A bad day of fishing ... but better than a good day at work.

So Next Trip OUR CRUISE !!!! Yea!!! NO KIDS NO MOTHERIN LAW !! Just me and the love of my Life Nancy!!! Bookended by a stay at Kadani and BLT. Plus my Birthday to boot !

See Ya Real Soon !

Dh is doing better today and is resting right now..not so grumpy today as he was for the past few days. So we have been taking shifts on DH watch, He tries to over do alot.:scared1::scared1:

Glad to hear that DH is doing better!

Actually, the one night I'd suggest avoiding skipping is Pirate night, which has been Monday. In my honest opinion it's one of the best menus they have onboard. Other than that, yup, pretty much a guess as to which rotation you'll be on at this point.

Thanks Mark. OK, I will try for Wednesday or Thursday night.

sorry havent posted in a while things crazy around here.
We are bringing all six kidos on this one again, lol. Took a little while to read all the pages again and get caught up.

Quick question: Anyone else add on points at BLT last cruise and get the Mickey statue? And has anyone gotten it yet?

They told us spring, but its now june and nothing.

Wow another week went by with me only lurking.
!3 weeks and counting.. my how time flies when you're having fun, or as Kermit would say, "My how time is fun when you're having flies" (okay, corny, but I couldn't resist).

As for QOTD,
Barb:
Who is your favorite Disney Character? Tinkerbell
What is your favorite Disney Movie? Mulan

Ray:
Who is your favorite Disney Character? Goofy
What is your favorite Disney Movie? Lion King

Last Thursday night I was asked to be a chaperone at Disney's Grad Nite in Disneyland for our schools 6 graduates & their guests (very small private school). It's kind of nice watching the night fade into morning inside the park, but the drive back home was killer and I ended up sleeping all of Friday. I guess I'm getting too out of shape for this kind of thing as I'm still feeling tired, but I'll be wide awake tonight to try to make our ressies for Palo.

Different subject; when will we find out which stateroom #'s are involved in the fish extenders? I see the list of names, but not where they are at. I would like to make labels to help me find the staterooms easily.

Ray,

Hi! I have the stateroom numbers but I don't want to post on the board. They are going to be in a mine navagator that we get on board.

If you or any one else would like them PM with your e mail address and I would be happy to send them to you or you could e-mail it to me at girlwolf@excite.com. I will send the stateroom list to you once the cut of date is past. Let me know if this will work.

Being at grad night had to e fun, but I could see how you you would be tired.

take care and have a great day.

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Glad to be back home after a very hot, hot, hot week at WDW. We got home Friday night and have been exhausted. So I have been trying to catch up on my rest.

We had a great time despite the temperatures. It was averaging around 94 degrees every day that we were there. The evenings would get down to the mid-70's, so not very cool. We were averaging 2 showers a day! Good thing we had a washer/dryer in the room because I was doing 2 loads of laundry a day since we were going through 2 outfits a day!

The girls loved the Star Wars Weekend. Which is what we really went down for. We got some really good pictures of them with the characters. We spent 2 days at Hollywood Studios just doing the Star Wars stuff. Didn't even ride a ride! But we went back Monday morning for extra magic hours and rode our favorite rides, Rock 'N Roller Coaster, and Tower of Terror. We also rode the new Toy Story ride and had a blast! That was lots of fun.

We spent every afternoon back at SSR relaxing at the pool because it was so hot at the parks. Never got sun burnt but my legs felt like they were on fire during the late afternoon/early evening because of the heat coming up off the cement.

We had some really great food while we were there. But our favorite restaurant for the past several times we have been down there, Raglan Road at Down Town Disney, was the biggest disappointment we had. I would say it was our worst meal. Which was a bummer cuz we were looking forward to eating there. Oh, well. Can't win all the time I guess. I think our favorite this trip was California Grill. The view was gorgeous and the food was awesome. It was really cool to watch the fireworks at MK from up there.

Well, that is just a little bit of what we did on our trip. Got to go take a nap so I can be awake at 11:00 tonight to try and get Palo reservations. Can't wait for that.

Have a great day! :flower3:
