Fifteen for us. This was my second marriage - but better! How about you? We were on the Big Red Boat too! What year were you there?

This is my DH's second too. And like you said, better!!!! ;) Which red boat for you? We were on the Atlantic and thought it was awesome. But that was our first ever cruise and our honeymoon, so anything to us was awesome! :lmao:

Congrats on the Pirate, Chris!

It's really funny about our anniversaries. We're "celebrating" on the cruise since we will be at WDW before and actually back home on our real date.

We were on the Big Red Boat in 1992.

We were on the Atlantic also - and my DH just corrected me, it was 93.

Thanks for the congrats. It has been a while for me to get either one.

We will be back home on the actual day too. We will be staying until Sunday after the cruise.

:lmao: Way to go DH! We will have to have a cheers to each other while on board.

We will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary on the cruise also. Sept. 10 is our actual anniversary and we will be flying out to florida that day.

We will celebrate our 15th next June. I really want to have our vows renewed on board but it may be cost prohibitive. WDW costs a lot more than DCL and I've talked to others on the marriage/vow thread. One good thing about next June is that it is a 5-night cruise which would be nice too. I wonder if DVC will offer any discounts for next year!

Wow just caught up on the board,,,,We took the Alaska cruise in 2006 with land portion...loved every moment...can't wait to go back.

We did Panama in 2007 it was a 10 day, Love that one too.

We cant decide what major vacation we want to take next, Ireland, Germany or Italy. It all sounds intresting to me.

Trouble is work won't let me take 2 weeks vacation at one time. I am have to find another job:confused3

Oh well its been a long day spent it with Mom, we went to the casino and then to dinner. We had a great time.

I amy very tired did not sleep very well last night, The fire alarm went off twice, we had to change the battery. May be will get so sleep tonight.

Night all.:cloud9:

Good morning everyone - happy Sunday!

You know, I was just checking the member cruise website, and discussing things with DH, and remembered a conversation that DBFF and I had with Jim Shore, the artist that I'm sure most of you know with his Disney character sculptures, thru Enesco, when we were at a special event where he was signing his pieces. He said that his "people" were talking with Disney about having him on a special cruise this fall with new and cruise-only edition pieces. I wonder if our "secret" is Jim Shore!

Haven't seen any advertising for a Jim Shore cruise this fall - anybody else seen or heard anything about one? Jim Shore is a favorite of mine and I have several signed pieces now.

That would be very cool!

We will be celebrating 19 this year.

We're celebrating 19 years this year too, but ours isn't until October 27th.

Congrats to Sue on the :bride:

We're doing one of the 5 days in July for a wedding. They are double dips to Castaway Cay so while the wedding is one day on the island we'll have another full day to enjoy the island itself.

Mary, I'm happy to hear that you are feeling a bit better. pixiedust:

Jm Shore would be really neat! Of course, it could also be expensive for me since we are driving and I don't have to worry about how much my suitcase weighs. :rotfl2:

Congrats Sue on :bride:

Even though we took the land/ sea it was not long enough, It was great though, I felt a little rushed on the land portion, a lot of land to cover. We went in Sept. I think we should have gone in June or July. We used Princess for it. Ww did the inside passage got off in Whittaker, made stops on the train for Denali, and Mt. Mckinnley on our way to Fairbanks, I would do the land portion first, if I were you, then you could relax on the ship.

But it was a fantastic trip.

Since so many of us are saying that we are celebrating our anniversaries on board, maybe we should try to find an evening in one of the lounges where we could make a Toast!!
