Good Morning Mary. How are you feel today? Well, I hope! Keep up your strength - there be cruisin' ahead! :)

Not feeling too bad. Hopefully all my numbers will be good on Monday so I can get chemo. Just taking it day by day but nothing is going to stop me from this cruise!

After all it is Thursday and the Wonder should be just in. I NEED to see her - just to dream and sigh. :rotfl:

Congrats on the :bride: Sue!

Congrats on the pirate: Dave!

Someone had a link before from there, that you could see the ship leaving the canal or returning to Port. I will see if I can find it.

I think Mark has a link to it. I love the Ron Jon Cam because you can take control and watch it in the channel and out to sea. I'll see if I can find it. Here's the Ron Jon cam: http://www.ronjonresort.com/beachcam.aspx

That is a great attitude Mary!! Best of luck.

It is fun to watch the ships leave, and control the cam.

Good morning everyone. You all were very active this morning! :rotfl:

Congrats Sue and Dave on the :bride: and pirate:.

Hope all have a great day! :flower3:

Thanks Flo, the weather doesn't look too good this morning down there

Dave,

Did you see it when the ship left in the fog? It was kind of strange. DH and DS thought it was cool. Someone posted it on the discussion part of the thread. It looked like a shadow.

We are not obsessed with DCL are we? No not any of us.:lmao: I to love to watch the ships. I once even caught it coming into port. That was fun to watch.

Have a good day.

Take care

SW had airfare specials the past 48 hours. Bob and I are going to be in San Francisco a week after we get back from the cruise. I have a conference I must attend. We could have stayed a few days and flown from SF to LA for $60 RT, and I could have gotten one of the new villas at DL...but there was so much traffic on the SW site last night that it was difficult to get it done.
I got to paypal 3 times to pay and it kept saying error, reason unknown and to call SW, but that the fare would not be the same (30) one way...so I gave up, thinking that it just wasn't meant to be.

I have never been to DL and really wanted to go. Maybe I will have to bit the bullet and just pay the $59 and $69 one way from SF to LA...I have to fly out of SF because my work is paying for it. They don't care how long you stay....you use your own money and your own leave...but you have to fly from the city of origin. So that is why we have to do the RT thing. And, you can't pay for it yourself, you have to let them pay for it...

Anyone here been to DL? What do you think? I know I will never fly out there just to see DL, and this would have been the perfect opportunity. Never seen SF either, so we are getting in a couple days early...don't know what we will see there, but definitely Alcatraz Island..anyone been to SF?
If we do go to DL, should we see both parks? We are not great riders...no heights, nothing that spins...I was almost tempted to take the entire week off and drive into SanDiego...but I don't know about driving in CA. It's not like driving here where you negotiate the Amish on horse and buggy.

Anyone who can give me advice, I would appreciate it.

Happy Thursday...and congratulations on the pirate: and :bride:
Boy, if I stay off here one day, I have pages and pages to read!...but that's good...we are getting to know each other before the BIG TRIP!!!

Blessings,
Susan

Susan,

I LOVE Disneyland. After all it is Walt's original park and you can walk where he walked! We've done it a couple of different times and we are talking about doing it next year as well. The nice thing about Disneyland is Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney are all walking distance to each other and to the hotels. Plus they have some things that WDW doesn't have like the Matterhorn and the original Tiki Room (can't stand the one in WDW).

As for San Francisco the Disney Family Museum is opening up there this fall. I don't think it will be open while you are there if you are going right after the cruise. http://disney.go.com/disneyatoz/familymuseum/index.html
I haven't visited San Francisco in years (since before I was married) but loved it. Another place we plan to see.

PDFG and all our friends who need it.

This is a test to see if my post is there. You know I'm really starting to hate how the DIS is acting. I wrote the above and it took forever to load and then looked like it wasn't even there. Grrrrr. So glad I have Facebook because I think after this cruise that's where I'll spend most of my time.

About what time does DCL go past the Ron Jon cam? I have never watched it so I would like to today. Any info would be great.

thanks

Thank you, Mary, you have convinced me!!! DH thinks I am nuts wanting to stay in DL for 3 days...he thinks that we should stay one day...no way...it is going to be whatever I decide this time. I will surely keep looking at that Disney Museum also.

I have had problems with the site also, Mary. Yesterday it didn't even recognize me after I was signed on as usual from my laptop. Ordinarily I am always signed on when I enter, and I was yesterday too, but all of a sudden when I went back to the site, I was a guest!!! And I couldn't sign on. Then I couldn't get anything to come up...slow slow slow...and I gave up.

Are you in a Disney group on facebook? I am on facebook...fill me in.
I love facebook! Except I don't like seeing my face!! LOL:lmao:

Oh, I hate these 5 day work weeks...but tomorrow is PAYDAY.
Susan:woohoo:
