HAHAHA!!!!Where did you get the faces?I guess your supposed to get bad Rip Tides along the coast. Ive been watching the Hurricane centre site. The storms are just rolling across the Atlantic each one taking a wider turn north. Well as long as we get to Sea maybe we can hightail it to KEYWEST!!

While we were out getting pirate costumes - for DH and the girls - nothing for me yet....and stuff to make an FE - Michael was creating new characters for IASW!!! Congrats - hope you aren't in too much trouble!!

ya probably.... if DW can get the Friday off then we might go down and get a park and fly at last minute or have DD and her BF drive us nice and early Sat. and pick us up.....

We usually leave our vehicle in airport parking lot A. Salvatores is pretty good. Free parking of vehicle as long as you stay the night. They take you over and back.

Gotta find somewhere to check out the Packer game vs the Eagles on the day we leave...

Kick-off is at 4:15 est....isn't there a bar on board with a tv that I could check out occasionally??? (Wish they'd bring back the ESPN Club that was in the funnel in '02!!!)

Although, with check-in, the Boat-Is-Sinking Drill, the Sail-away party and Palo's, I've a feeling I'm gonna miss most, if not all......

Yes, I believe it is called Diversions Sports Bar, You can watch the Packers right after we watch the Colts beat up on the Texans.

Wow Debbie! I would be going crazy. Hope you get the schedule figured out soon. Good thinkg you have relatives who are nearby.

I am going But just as everything always does, it will all work out. I am VERY fortunate we have relatives that live nearby. I am so very thankful for that! I just wish some of my sisters would start having kids so I could return the babysitting favor!!!

Right now they are watching 4 systems crossing the Atlantic They are figuring Earl to bring bad Rip tides to Eastern coast North Caralina and up. Probably wind damage and rain.

I sure hope they don't prevent us from docking at CC!!!! That would be VERY disappointing!

I know exactly what you're going through! We're trying to coordinate grandparents, brothers, sisters-in-law, uncles and aunts! But, with the timing of this trip, DS will be in only his 2nd week of high school -- too much going on for him to miss, even for a Disney trip!

Hope our "best laid plans" all work out!!!!

Anyone think there's any chance at all that there might be a cancellation for the Brunch at Palo's?

Even worth a stop at the desk to ask?????

From what I've always heard, they keep some slots open for people that want to book when they board the ship. HOWEVER...those go faster than the online reservations, so you have to be on the ship early and head STRAIGHT to the PALO reservation desk. Be sure to ask them when you check in at the port where to make reservations for PALO....one time it was at one of the bars and another time it was at PALO, so I don't want to tell you the wrong place.

Did they give you the whole speach on how those movies are not guaranteed and that DCL may choose to change what movies they are offering on board? I called to find out and I think she said that about five times!!! I wanted to tell her it was ok I wasn't going to make her walk the plank if they weren't playing the movies she told me!

Sometime to much information can be a bad thing. My DW has been looking at this board lately and has talked to those that have been on a Disney Cruise (we are first time Cruisers) and probably the worst is she has talked to my MOM who has been on almost every inagural cruise in the past 8 years and if it weren't for my brother having a baby in late Jan early Feb she would be on the Dream inagural cruise. Anyway my DW is panicked as to what to pack. She has heard that with the exception of Palo that cruise casual is ok. Does this include Capri's? My mom says no way that we have to be dressed up (me in slacks) for every dinner? Is this true? I am sure you have gone over this before but with school in full swing, baseball and trying to pack I don't have the energy to go back over the 5000+ posts. Can someone help me? I will make it easy:

What is the proper wear for Dinner at the different restaurants?


I understand that if we would be able to get into Palo it is coat for me and dress for DW but the others?

Scott I will try to answer first since I have also asked the question but since we are first timers - those with experience please add to or correct me!!!!

Capris are fine...in the main dining areas the dress code states: no swim suits, tank tops or shorts. Jeans and tennis shoes are permitted. Palo I am gathering you are correct - jacket for you and dress for DW.

For DH I plan to take 1 pair of khakis and one pair of black pants (thanks Marsha!!) With his black dress shoes (which we will use not only for dinner but also for pirate night). For myself I have 2 sundresses and 2 pairs of capris - I am trying to not overpack so my plan is to use whatever I wear for dinner the next day if needed. For our two days at CC the tips suggested just wearing your bathing suit so really no need for a set of clothes! I hope this helps!!!
