We should definately be on page one!! Although it has been quiet!! I got "Mousejunkies" in the mail today....I ordered it on Barnes & Noble....only problem is I started reading "Eat...Pray....Love". I used to read ALL THE TIME....then my children were born and all I read now are the Disney Princess Stories or Dr. Suess:rotfl2:...I am in a real quandry with what to do!!!

Just wanted to stop in and see how everyone is doing. I am so counting down to the cruise. I feel like a big kid. My DD has no idea we will be celebrating her bday on the cruise. Her bday in Sunday, but i don't think she will mind holding off the a big celebration till the cruise. :cheer2:

Hi Merissa :wave2: You and me both! Well, I always feel like a big kid. I opted out of "being a grown up" :rotfl2: I am sure your DD will be so thrilled to get to celebrate her special day on a cruise

I have Mousejunkies too :lmao: I enjoyed it. Oh, I was thinking of picking up Eat Pray Love now that we finished the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series. I just finished The 6th Target by James Patterson and also started another Laurell K. Hamilton series. If I ever win Powerball I will be so happy to just stay home and read :thumbsup2

Hi Merissa! We are counting down too. I am so excited. Celebrating a birthday on a cruise is fantastic. I know she will love it.

Let's see if we can keep both threads on page 1.:lmao:

Good Morning.

Terrie - I too love to read. I enjoy to read Nora Roberts, Sandra Brown, etc. type books. My daughters talked me into the Twilight Series and it was pretty good. Not sure what, if anything, I will bring on the cruise though. I have a hard time reading when I could be people watching ;).

As the co-worker who recommended " Eat Pray Love" to me said EVERY woman should read this book. I am not totally through it, I have to say it is very enlightening for those of us raised by strong women - who taught us to be strong women and anyone who has ever been in love.:lovestruc

I have decided to finish this before Mousejunkies - I think as fast as I"m reading I should be through it by the weekend...plus since I CAN'T wait to get on that boat, am hoping Mousejunkies feeds my addiction even a little before we go!!!

GOOD MORNING. ANOTHER MUGGY DAY HERE:scared1: LAURA AND I WERE COMPETING ALL DAY YESTERDAY. AT ONE POINT I WALKED OVER TO THE POOL AT THE CLUB AND LEANED IN AND DUNKED MY HEAD AND SHOULDERS IN. THE POOL AT CLUB IS SALT WATER SYSTEM. WE ARE GOING TO SWITCH OVER TO SALT WATER SYSTEM WHEN EVER OUR LINER WEARS OUT.

LAURA READS ALL THE TIME, WHEN SHE FINISHES BOOK MY SON USUALLY READS THEM. IM NOT A READER EXCEPT FOR NEWSPAPER AND DISNEY MATERIAL. I CONTINUALLY READ THE BOOK Disney from A to Z. I WOULD RATHER PEOPLE WATCH. IT BEGINS FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, I WAKE UP LOOK IN THE MIRROR, AND SAY Look at that strange person!!!!!:rotfl2: THEN I REALIZE ITS ME!!!:rotfl2:

IM CURIOUS, WHAT IS THE BOOK MOUSEJUNKIES? SOUNDS LIKE I WANT TO GET IT. MAYBE THIS TODAY I WILL GO TO CHAPTERS AND SEE IF THEY HAVE IT.

I HAVE ALWAYS REFERED TO MYSELF AS A MOUSESTALKER:rotfl2:

Ian you crack me up :rotfl:! As long as the person in the mirror doesn't give you a different answer I think you are all good.

I love to read - though mostly romance novels. I have a big box we got from one of my mom's old coworkers that I'm slowly making my way through. Otherwise I could probably keep Barnes and Noble or Borders in buisness. It helps greatly that we don't have either one near us though. At least Erik thinks so.

I'm getting so excited for the cruise but I have to keep tempering myself. I'll be in DL in two weeks! So I really should be more excited about that. And while I'm very happy to be going I find my mind drifting to cruising more often. But I finally did my dining reservations for DL yesterday. We're only there for 1 and a 1/2 days though so we won't be doing much. I guess I should spend some time refamiliarizing myself with those parks since I have WDW memorized. Maybe that will get me more worked up for the early trip. But I can be sure when we get back I'll be all over cruise planning and packing! :woohoo::yay:

I like Nora Roberts and Sandra Brown too. One of my favorite Nora Roberts' series was The Circle Trilogy which consisted of Morrigan's Cross, Dance of the Gods and Valley of Silence. If you like these authors you would probably like Julie Garwood too. My mom and I have both read and listened to the Twighlight saga a few times

Sounds good :thumbsup2 I am going to have to put it on my list of books to read.

I read Disney War a couple of years ago. It was about what went on behind the scenes in the corporation and with the family before and during the Michael Eisner era. It was very good! I normally don't care for non-fiction books found in the business section :lmao: I really enjoyed it though.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Everytime I look in the mirror there is a stranger staring back at me. She is 20 years older and 20 pounds heavier than I am :rotfl2: It is quite disturbing to say the least

Where we live there is a Barnes and Noble, Borders and Books A Million all within 10 minutes :worship: Thank goodness for gift cards during the holidays :yay: I also find a lot of good deals on Amazon dot com as far as books and audio books. Costco usually has some of the best sellers for less than B&N. I am toying with the idea of getting a Nook. I understand if you are a voracious reader then they save you money in the long run. I hear you can also check out books on it from your library on it. I will have to do some research, I am still not convinced popcorn::

I am in the cruise planning stage too. The 2 swimsuits I ordered online came in and low and behold they actually fit :cheer2: I thought for sure I'd be returning one or both. I was at Dillard's trying to find nice/dressier type sandals for dinner and Palo and saw some that I thought were very fun looking and uhm, unique  but felt were a bit pricey for me  I went home and searched online and found the same sandals at Amazon for almost half the price  They arrived yesterday and they fit too :cool1: While searching for accessories for our pirate: costumes I discovered a fashion trend I did not know about and fell instantly in  with this style. It's called Steampunk. I can not tell you how incredibly happy I am to have found yet another outlet for my freak flag to fly :lmao: A few years ago it was lavendar hair, which I had to dye to a more acceptable color once I started working with the public  I settled for vibrant Hi Vis red :thumbsup2

Terrie waving freak flag

Today Jimmy Buffett :love:made a special appearance at the Margarittaville in Niagara Falls Canada and I missed it. :sad1:

Good Morning everyone - we are halfway to the weekend and of course a little closer to cruising:yay::yay::yay:!!!

Terrie - DH has read weveral of the more business related Disney tales - I know Disney Wars was one he really enjoyed - he likes the behind the scenes stuff and I like to live in "Magicland":rotfl2::rotfl2: I prefer reading ones about how LOVELY everything DIsney is!!!

OH NO ..... I didn't even think about REAL shoes for dinner - we aren't doing Palo - are my Crocs flip flops acceptable?? Seriously this is all I take with me to Disney - I have never had a problem with my feet or legs (I have even wearing running shoes). If not - off to the Crocs outlet to find a pair that looks more like dress shoes!!!

Good Morning. Need to get back on page one! :)

Congrats on getting the ME tags. Wish we would get ours. But I wonder, since we are only using the ME after the cruise back to the airport from BLT, if we will get them before we go or once we get to BLT? Last year we got them at the Poly. Huhhhhhh, I wonder? :confused3

And, when will we be getting our cruise documents do you think? DH keeps saying any day now we should be getting them. I just keep telling him, yep, any day now. :rolleyes1

I love "Magicland" too but I also love behind the scenes. Knowing how things run makes me seem to appreciate the magic all the more. I discovered this when I went on my first Keys To The Kingdom tour. I LOVE behind the scenes tours :worship: We've done KTTK 3 or 4 times and Backstage Magic once. I will definitely be doing them again.

Since this is our first DCL cruise I am not sure how everyone is suppsoed to dress for dinner. I thought I read somewhere that one of the dining nights is a "dressier" night. Quite frankly I'd be happy in flip flops but coming across these dressier sandals, they just screamed CRUISE to me and thought they'd be fun to wear if I have to dress up a bit.

Terrie :)

DISNEY CRUISES ARE MORE CASUAL THAN SOME OTHERS WE HAVE BEEN ON. CELEBRITY HAS FORMAL NIGHTS WHERE YOU MUST WHERE JACKET MANY WEAR TUX. ONE YEAR I FORGOT TO PACK MY SPORT JACKET FOR DRESS NIGHT. NOBODY SAID ANYTHING TO ME, BUT NEXT YEAR I BROUGHT MY JACKET. ACTUALLY BROUGHT MY 3 PIECE SUIT WITH MY VEST AS A JOKE:rotfl2: YOU COULD WEAR YOUR 3 IN PIRATE PUMPS:rotfl2:

IVE DONE THE KTTK TOUR 4 TIMES AND I WILL KEEP DOING IT:cool1: I HAVENT DONE THE BACKSTAGE TOUR BUT I WANT TO. MIGHT DO IT WHEN WE COME DOWN IN DEC. FUNNY IVE HAD THE SAME TOUR GUIDE A COUPLE OF TIMES. I TEASE HIM. FOR SOME REASON HE REMEMBERED ME.:rotfl2: HE WAS VERY GOOD. STILL LEARN THINGS EACH TIME.
