Congratulations Ian and Michael on your :bride: and pirate:

I love the food pictures :cake: This is NOT helping me with my diet at all!!!! :crazy2: I have lost 12 pounds  and I am shooting for another 13 before the cruise...we'll see :rolleyes1 I may wind up actually exercising this month  I dunno, it's just too hot to go and sweat on purpose

Last night we saw Salt and Despicable Me. Both were very entertaining. The book wars between Wally and I are over. We have both finished the three Stieg Larsson books and they were very good! Now I need to be on the hunt for another series, or novel, open to any suggestions.

SIX more weeks and then I can stop eating rabbit food :worship:

Terrie :)

Finally found a pirate costume. For the longest time I could not find even ONE pirate costume I liked for me and DH and beleive me I was searching. I didn't want to go the custom made route becasue I figured Wally would flip if even suggested it again  The last conversation we had about pirate night he said no custom made costume. From my perspective this isn't custom made in the true sense of the word becasue I did not draw the design myself, it's coming off a template of someone else's design :rolleyes1

So the pirate outfit I found last night is what I call it a compromise :rotfl2: The seamstress has a general design and I get to pick the colors and fabric pattern. She is altering part of her design at my request  She is also making DH's outfit to match mine. I was so grateful that she would do it :worship: since she doesn't offer men's costumes as a choice, but I asked and she agreed.

I didn't tell Wally :rolleyes1 He came home and I pulled out measuring tape and just started measuring him :lmao: and then ran back to the computer. He was like, Uhm, what are you doing :confused3 and I just said Shhh, I'm writing an e-mail don't make me forget the numbers and have to re-measure you. Then I had him measure me and ran back to the computer :rotfl2: Again he asks, Why are we measuring? So I just turned around and said Do you want your pirate costume to fit or what? So he says, Oh, so we ARE getting custom pirate costumes? Cool :cool2:

Cool?, Did he just say cool? Ok , that was unexpected. I showed him the general design for mine and the fabric and colors and then explained what his was supposed to look like. Then he says to me, What about the accessories? Ok, who is this guy and where is my husband?

Ok, off to hunt for swords, belts and boots! :yay:

I JUST READ YOUR COSTUME(customdesign):rotfl2:

WOW!!!!!!!
WONT MISS YOU AND WALLY!!!! I HAVENT BROUGHT A SWORD AND GUN WITH ME, WE ARE FLYING THEY MIGHT WONDER:rotfl2: I WISH LAURA WOULD DRESS UP. SHE WOULD WEAR A HAT OF SOMEKIND BUT THATS IT:rotfl2: ID LIKE TO BRING BLACK STUFF FOR AROUND MY EYES ANd BEARD . BUT I NEED REMOVABLE COLORING OR THERE MIGHT BE A PROBLEM AFTER THAT NIGHT:rotfl2:MY SUITCASE IS HALF FILLED WITH PIRATE STUFF. ON LAST NIGHT OF CRUISE WE ARE PANICING TRYING TO FIT ALL THE EXTRAS FROM THE CRUISE ( DVC GIFTS, BOOZE ETC) AND NOW FE MAYBE THIS TIME I WILL CUT OUT THE UNIMPORTANT THINGS, CLOTHES.

I have no clue how we are going to fit everything. I am going to have to get real creative with my packing :rotfl2: How many pieces of luggage are we allowed to bring :confused3

I am glad Wally will dress up for Pirate Night :goodvibes I just found the COOLEST pirate boots for my outfit  I have NEVER worn 3 inch heels in my life :scared1: so I am bound to provide some entertainment as I attempt to navigate my way on a ship with footwear that does not fall into the sneakers/flip flop category

Good luck with the 3 inch heels. hopefully, the ship will not be rocking too much. I don't want to see you fall. :)

I will certainly need it :lmao: Normally, I prefer comfort over style ;) But these...I completely fell in love with  and am willing to sacrifice my comfort and center of gravity to wear them

Debbie - sorry about the nosebleed section - I'm sure it was a great time anyway!!! I think that is what makes BonJovi so awesome - they sound as great today as they did 20+ yrs ago!!!!:goodvibes

I crashed last night, after grocery shopping I had a cooking extavaganza!!! So we are set with food here at least through the weekend!!!

Marsha - DH was so excited to hear about the breakfast buffets - he asked several times if there was BACON - I was :rotfl2:!!!!! I'm pretty sure his whole reason for cruising is the FOOD!!!!

Love Bon Jovi! Reminds me of my college days. Glad you were able to go and have fun. Too bad in the nose bleed section, but hey you were there and enjoyed.

And I hear ya about cooking. That is all I have been doing this morning.

HERE IS A PHOTO OF THAT FAMOUS LANDMARK WE PASS EVERYTIME WE LEAVE PORT:rotfl2::worship:
FISHLIPS:rotfl2:I THINK ONE OF THESE TIMES LAURA AND I WILL HAVE TO DRIVE OVER THERE BEFORE CRUISE CHECK IT OUT. WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GET A HAT OR SHIRT FROM THERE!!!!!:rotfl2:

Ian - Great picture of FishLips!!!!!!!! We have been there before for drinks with our friends to watch the cruise ships go out. Good times. We didn't eat there that time but they have and said the food is good. In fact, one year when we went on a cruise they were there to wave us off. It was such fun to see them there waving at us and we video taped them waving at us. We were talking on our cell phones to tell them where we were standing. Still makes me smile to see that video.

Hey there cruise buddies. :goodvibes

I have been very busy this weekend and just getting all caught up. Boy this thread is like the energizer bunny. It keeps going and going and going! :lmao:

This weekend was the yearly town festival for where our kids go to school. Since we live in the country we really don't have a hometown. Except I call where we work, and where I grew up, our hometown, which is funny because it is not the town where our mailing address is. And they have a Senior Class Foodstand there every year and me and Becca had to work our share of shifts in order for her to get credit for her Sr. Trip. I was so exhausted from working it Friday Night and yesterday. It was fun, but tiring.

Since I haven't been home then most of the weekend this morning I was busy making food to eat, snacks to munch and trying to catch up on laundry. So I am already whipped for today and ready to take a nap.

DH  was kind enough to set me up on the computer outside by the pool so I can catch up with everything. And I know it is early but he was even kind enough to make me a Bloody Mary to relax with and enjoy some down time. What a love!!!! :lovestruc

Marsha - love that count down. We so can't wait. Is it time yet?????????

Terrie - congrats on the pirate costumes. I so have to find you that night to see them. And I'm so glad that a pirate has taken over your husband and he is going to dress up too!!!!! I'm sure you guys will look spectacular. :woohoo:

So glad you are loving the pool. They are wonderful. Spent all day yesterday in ours too. And your MIL sounds like mine. She got in our pool this year. I think this is the 2nd time she has got in ours but she thoroughly enjoyed herself. Hope your MIL enjoyed herself too. :)
