39 bottles of rum on the wall...

Hi everyone! How is everyone's week going? I agree with Marsha...TGIF!!! We've been really slow at work and it's made for a really long week. Tomorrow is especially exciting for me...I am going to see BON JOVI again!!! This time in Chicago at Soldier Field.

I wondering if any of you might be able to give me a few pointers. We are re-doing the landscaping in front of our house. There were bushes out there that just grew insanely fast and I wanted more color. So, we tore the bushes out and put new landscaping brick and spread some new dirt. Now we are getting ready to plant some new stuff. I was thinking geraniums and miniature lilac bushes. But I also want to plant something that attracts butterflies and maybe humming birds. DH and I have tried to do landscaping in the past and we just are not very good at it and we really want to do it right this time! And make it look pretty. I do NOT want annuals, but I want color and low maintenance. What do you guys suggest? TIA!!!

First - Bon Jovi was one of my FAVORITES in my younger years - still enjoy hearing ANYTHING they do!!

DH and I have been doing a lot of landscaping this summer - I prefer roses and have an area of all sorts of rose bushes. For the areas of lower maintanence I got day lilies - yellow and orange - the flowers are colorful and the leaves resemble long blades of grass so it is an attractive bush even when not in bloom.

What NOT to do - I LOVE hydrengas - so I planted several in my front flower bed - those things are HUGE!!! don't get me wrong they are pretty but the HUGE ones are white and the fuschia ones stayed small so it looks like white over took the font. I cut them back by half every year but they are still crazy in size!!!

Snow White drank one got us closer to none 36 bottles of rum on the wall! 36 bottles of rum on the wall, 36 bottles of rum, take one down, pass it around...

Based on Monika's post, here is a tip that I came across. Monika is this the right address?

Take advantage of the ability to send a box to the ship ahead of time - a great way to get FE gifts or pirate gear on board without giving up valuable luggage space. Address your package(s) to:
Disney Cruise Line Warehouse
Guest Name / Stateroom # (GTY, if you don't know what it is when you send the package)
8633 Transport Drive
Orlando, FL 32832
Phone: 407-566-8196

Oh that is awesome Marsha! Thank you. I was wondering about that even though we are driving, I'd rather send up the FE stuff ahead of time!
