I have been watching the Bachlorette this season and I do not know why. I told myself years ago that I would not get sucked back in and this year I watched both the Bachelor and Bachelorette. Pure craziness on my part as to why I watch these shows. Fake drama and fake reality. I wonder if the tears are real?

Good Morning All!! Rain passed through here last night - luckily no storms. DH is off to Lowes to get some more deck supplies before I leave for work- he didn't want to take the girls!!!

Terrie - I hear ya about swimming suits. They are a pain in the hiney to try to find one. Earlier this year I got a new top and the strap has broke already. I really liked it so I don't know what I'm gonna do. Right now it has a saftey pin holding the strap up. Ughhhhhh at the thought of looking for another.

Good Mornning! Here are some more tips about what you might want to bring with you. Of course, by no means do you need to bring all of this stuff but I do hope some of these tips are useful. I have over 40 to post so I will post 10 a day. If these tips spark questions or ideas, then please share.


EXTRAS TO PACK TO USE IN YOUR ROOM
11. Dish soap to wash items in the sink and hang to dry or to wash snorkel gear in the bathtub.

12. Clothes pins for hanging up wet suits in the shower and to close curtains to keep that morning sun out of your room!

13. Bring 2 bungee cords (one for each door) if you have connecting rooms to keep the doors open. They are heavy doors and will not stay open by themselves. If closed, you cannot open them from the other stateroom.

14. Little flash lights and pass them out to your family. Also keep 1 in the bath room. Flashlights that only work while you are holding down the button. This solves the problem of the little angels falling asleep with the security flashlight on and going through a set of batteries every other night! Or, keep the light on in the bathroom and shut the door, light comes from underneath and works fine.

15. Nightlight for bathroom.

16. Your own hairdryer. The ones in the cabins are weak.

17. 3M command hooks are great for hanging hats & jackets/sweaters.

18. Mesh laundry bags – one for colored clothes and one for white clothes.

19. Wire hangers to hang your clothes. The wooden ones take up a lot of room if you have a lot of hanging clothes and 4 persons in your cabin OR leave the hangers at home and ask your stateroom attendant for more.

20. Extra batteries for any battery operated items, i.e. cameras, flashlight, I-Pods, travel clock, etc.

Chris - the deck is really coming along. The decking is almost all down - we ran out last night - hence DHs trip to Lowes!!! The plan today is to do the stairs and finish the deck boards - if the rain allows - the sides and finish work will be all that is left!!! I have been thanking God for my Dad being able to work the way he has. We have had 3 good days in a row - 4-5 hrs each day - that is a lot for him- but he seems so happy building again!!!

Marsha - the packing tips continue to reinforce my NEED for my OL!!!! All of those things are in there!!!

OK - OL is scheduled for delivery to the MCO courtyard - where is this - the other choice was the Marriott - I put a note in the special notes but thought someone might know. Also having our stroller delivered to BLT for the 16-19th!!! for only $26!!!! MagicStollers are the BEST!!!! I read that a stroller on the ship is difficult to manuver - should I bring one or not - didn't plan to - DD3 will walk just obviously little legs!!!
