Thanks Shawn! We did have a great time, despite the fact that DH got sick and now I am under the weather. Now we have to wait until just before the cruise before we go back.

Oh they did announce the next D23 Expo and I am so glad it is not this year...whew! It will be next year in August So, I have a quick question for those of you veteran DVC Member Cruisers. Are the DVC member cruises always in September? I am hoping that if we enjoy this cruise as much as I think we will DH will want to do it again next year on the Dream. However, we are both planning to go to the D23 Expo next year in August so hopefully there won't be a conflict.

I read somewhere (I think on the DVC Member website) that next year's DVC Member Cruise will be in September. So, you shouldn't have any conflicting dates!

Thanks Ian! Lots of cool things on the way. Interaction between the princesses and guests will be more in depth. Guests will be led to visit Cinderella in groups of 30 - 40 and when they see her she will be dressed in rags, then as the Fairy Godmother leads everyone in a round of Bibbidi Bobbidy Boo Cinderella will transform before everyone's eyes into her ball gown. She will then dance with the guests and guests can train to be her "knights". There will be a Beast's castle and interaction with Belle which involves role playing and storytelling. They are adding a restaurant themed after Beauty and The Beast there as well. Then there will be an interaction area for Aurora where guests will engage in throwing her a surprise 16th Birthday party that she never had. There will also be an area to interact with Eric and Ariel which leads to a new "E" ticket ride.

Thank you! I am so happy to have another and I was hoping I'd time it right. I've been stalking the boards since I got home from work today Too sick to do anything else that might be productive Besides, reading the DIS is good medicine because it makes me smile

Oh I am so glad to know there won't be a conflcit with the dates. Hopefully we can get a studio at VGC at the 7 month window for the Expo.

Yeah, the Fantasyland expansion does sound pretty exciting. I am actually looking forward to it and I am not one that spends much time in Fantasyland now. LaLa Land in my head...now that's another story

Marsha -we did have a great date night!! I just woke up from a 4 hr nap though I am such a baby - I NEED my sleep!!!

Well our area is flooding. My office sits across the railroad tracks on the Youghiogheny River - the river has left its banks and many of the homes are taking water. Our basement is fine so far. In the big city (Pittsburgh) there is much flooding. Only 28 days to WDW!!! Get me outta here!!!

Good Morning all!!! I'm having just a little trouble adjusting to the time change.... DD5has a performance for her theater class today so we are off to be beautified. They are performing songs from Wicked, Hairspray and Urinetown - yeah never heard of that one....but its a good song so we'll see!!!

Hi Ian! I hope you are having fun! No requirements for joining D23 except for the membership fee Gotta pay the mouse you know There are 2 levels of membership, gold and silver. With the Gold you get the quarterly issues of D23's magazine which is pretty cool. With the silver you just get the membership. Membership gives you the priviledge of paying for more Disney related merchandise and experiences

We've done Keys To The Kingdom 3 times also. Love that tour!!! My favorite tour guide is Matt...cute young thing and no I'm not a (cougar) but I'm not dead either

Since we were lucky enough to get a CL studio waitlist to come through at AKV right before the cruise we decided to take advantage of it and also book a Sunrise Safari which will be a first for us. I just spoke with the itinerary planning department and we are booked for Sunday morning of the cruise I asked DH if he wanted to do the Wanyama Safari again and he said yes! So we are doing that one on Saturday night Yay! Two safaris

The Sunrise Safari is at 7am and check in 15 minutes prior. Yes, we get a buffet breakfast at Pizzafari after the safari
