Sad day in the world of Disney today. I just read that Roy E. Disney passed away today. I know he was up there in age and was fighting cancer, but it's still so very sad.

Touching base with you guys since I am at the office and it is midnight and I am working and I need to stay awake and there is no one else here and I need to get up and go back to work at 5:45 and there are lots of patient charts to look at and I took Mammaw to the airport today and she went to California(Get the picture?, preparing for a trip sucks)

Sad day in the world of Disney today. I just read that Roy E. Disney passed away today. I know he was up there in age and was fighting cancer, but it's still so very sad.

I saw that last night on the news and my heart sank

I know how you feel...this is our first Christmas without my Grandma (on my mom's side). She was my last grandparent. It's really sad...my mom is having a difficult time dealing with it so I'm trying to offer her all the support I can right now. I just had a distant relative on my dad's side tragically killed in a car accident this past Friday. And my husband's uncle is expected to pass away any day now. It's just not turning out to be a very merry Christmas on any side of my family this year! I just have to keep reminding myself to be thankful for my family and treasure each moment with them.

Please know you are in my good thoughts.

Ok, I need an early Christmas present, like today. I want Santa to bring me a few more hours today. I have a hair appt to make my roots match the rest of my hair before people start asking why I dye my roots black when I have bright red hair Then it's off to work to teach a CPR and First Aid class followed by the rest of the day at the office. Once I get home, it's bathe and groom 5 dogs (the 3 I am "babysitting" go home tommorrow), pack up a suitcase so I can be ready to leave to Georgia tomorrow and bring the other 2 dogs with me. Somewhere in between that I need to put away the Christmas ornaments that I did not use this year back in the attic so that I can find the living room floor again.

Yep, we have to treasure every minute we have. Because we just never know. We just had a co-worker pass unexpectedly last friday night. She worked all day, went to get her hair done, went home and boom. Massive stroke and was gone. So..........ya just never know.

Good Morning all!! I just read through the last three pages I have missed. I'm kinda of insane as well - and I have alot going on!!! Anyway!!

I did get to take the fam to see Princess and the Frog on Sunday (13th) it was AWESOME!!! DH and I both loved it as much as the girls. Yes we took both and our almost 3 yr old (her first movie in a theater) was SOOO good - a testament to how awesome the movie is!!!

I have also been able to accomplish some baking - I did none last year - some of you who who follow the DVC board may remember that we lost our home to a fire in Feb 08 and were displaced last Christmas - this is our first Christmas in the new house and I am really in the spirit!!!

I am suffereing withdrawal from WDW but am keeping myself stable with planning of our family trip in April (for DSis' HS grad) and of course the CRUISE!!!

Work in not cooperating with me to allow for the holiday cheer - I worked 12 hrs yesterday - I am part time - although sometimes no one knows it!! A longtime patient of mine (15 yr old) attempted suicide last Thursday - my heart broke for her and her mom - so I have been spending ALOT of time with them and getting her the services she needs. She is doing better and suffered no long term damage - Thank God! My dad's health is declining and he dedcided to go to the hospital last Thursday as well - - the insanity never stops!!!He is back home which makes him less grumpy and of course makes the rest of us less grumpy!!!

Enough of the sadness - thanks for listening - sometimes even a therapist needs to talk!!!!

I have been looking for cute FE stuff - I know I am crazy!!! But I have found a few cute things for the kids, I'm still thinking on the adults!!!

Terrie - I had to laugh about the hair comment - I NEED mine done also and I have been waiting until DSis (she's a stylist & the one who had surgery for kidney stones) to feel better. I naturally have very dark brown hair and color mine red and at work yesterday I was stressing about my multicolored hair!!!

Well today is my DMom's Bday - we are having lunch with her and tonight is DD(5) Christmas Program - she is the Angel Gabriel and I told her she has to act like an angel - !!!!! But seriously she has been good - which is weird for her - although I was the WORST mom - the tooth fairy FORGOT to come Tuesday night (she now has NO front teeth - insert "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" here!!!) Luckily DH told her the tooth fairy is helping Santa - and she bought it!!! OH MY!!! Did I feel bad!!!!

Sorry for all the randomness - I am going to keep up better !!!

Well here comes our big snowstorm for the east coast. 12plus inches here in central Maryland area. Looks like a white Christmas as well as they are concerned about another big storm coming in here Thursday. Been a long time since a white Christmas in Maryland. WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!

Here in SW PA we are getting snow too!!! So far about 6 inches - with more throughout the day!! Stay warm to all in the snowfall!!!

We are no longer under a blizzard warning. It is still snowing off & on though. We have at least 10 inches if not more. It is hard to tell since the wind is blowing it all around.

Hi Flo! DS was so excited to see the snow. I did take some pictures. I am still learning to use my new camera. I hope to have it all figured out before Christmas but I doubt it. I must say though it takes some wonderful pictures.

The snow stopped here late last night - it is beautiful - the girls and I played outside and had a blast!!!
