Hi Everyone!

I have been out of pocket since around Thanksgiving and my how this thread has grown! It will take me a while to go back and catch up!

dopeygirl76 - so sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. DH and I passed something around for a couple of weeks. He spent all Christmas week in bed. We finally had our Christmas dinner last night. Hope you feel better soon!

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and I wish you all blessings in the coming New Year. I will try to be around more now. I have missed you guys!

dopeygirl76...glad to hear your dad was doing a little better but sorry to hear you are not feeling well. Hope that changes soon. I'll be praying for your dad and is operation on the 4th. HUGS!

Good morning all!!!!

Well I have been VERY ill!!!! Don't know what I have - but I am miserable - it started Sat night and I have basically slept the days away. Luckily DH is on afternoon this week so I only have to pull it together for a few hours in the evening to take care of the girls!!!

We got more snow here too!!!

Oh, no, that is too bad. I got a really bad head thing last Tuesday. I mean, sorry to be gross, but I bet I blew out five gallons of snot! I was miserable. Thank goodness it only lasted about 48 hours. I was so tired and had so much to do, which I'm sure you did/do too. I hope you are feeling better soon!

And we are to get more snow tomorrow here. Yuck!

I went to the doctor yesterday - finally - and I have pnuemonia!!! This is a first for me - I don't usually get can't move sick - you know how us mothers power through!!!

So DH has been great doing laundry, he even took the girls and ran to the store and bank yesterday as he is folding a basket of clothes he said - your job is hard!!After thanking him for appreciating me I said and just think you didn't have to cook or run them to school or dance this week!! He said "I KNOW!!!". OK I'm miserable but THAT is an amazing event!!!

So guess what happens in the middle of the night??? DH gets a stomach bug!!!! Enough already!!! I'm going to lose my mind.

Well next year will be here soon and who knows what it holds but I'm focusing on our family trip to WDW in Apr and of course the SSMC!!!! Oh DH and I also decided we are getting into cruise shape and beginning a diet and exercise plan on Monday!!!

Hi everybody!!! We are in WDW and all checked in. I am reminded of why we haven't stayed at a value resort in several years (I know, I've become a Disney snob, sshhh don't tell) The parking lot of course is 27 miles away from the building we are in and the elevator is on the opposite side of the parking lot (another 3 mile hike) and of course OUR room is at the farthest architectural point possible from the elevator! To add insult to injury...no coffee maker which I completely forgot about. So, this means that after a night of partying and maybe even drinking I will have to trek 19 miles to the food court for a cup of Joe Now for those of you who don't know the dictionary defines Disney Food Court as the one spot in the entire universe where space and time simultaneously cease to exist! This is largely due to the fact that in any Disney Food Court one will find every single cranky parent and sleep deprived child from every corner of the globe all at once. This of course defies all laws of matter and physics and means that I will likely end up in a black hole tomorrow sans coffee On the bright side I am in Disney World and if I am going to wind up in a black hole on my birthday then this is the place I'd want to happen

Good morning everybody! Ok well since I just woke up maybe it's only morning for me I am having my coffee and I did not fall into a black hole at the Food Court. I sent DH who survived and made it back relatively unscathed with hot coffee, a chili dog and double bacon cheeseburger. I really must have a word with him regarding what foods constitute breakfast, even at 1 in the afternoon. I thought we'd established time is irrelevant. I thought I'd share some more of my rantings on why I will not be staying at values anymore Allow me to describe the "shower experience" at a value. First of all, I had to dance around the shower in order to get wet The water pressure is very low! After my shower I quickly came to realize that this is by design not by mistake. The towels at the value are so thin and threadbare that there would be no way for them to do what they are designed to do if I were in fact actually wet! Sigh...off to go exploring. Til later...

Hi to everyone. I'm back from the Christmas cruise on the Magic. Didn't get to socialize with the Dissers, but can testify that this was the best cruise in my DCL history. Just to wet your whistles, on Christmas eve, we came back to our room and(no kidding) found a towel sculpture of a baby in a manger with an angel overlooking it. Angela and I were speechless. Multiple other magical moments came with this cruise. I am hopefull that we will book the next Christmas cruise. I have outlined a lot of what happened in an email to DCL. In my nine DCL cruises, including Panama, this by far took the cake. Even got a Ducky litho of this Christmas cruise. Ducky had times where you could sign up and he would personally do a drawing. Multiple other things.

Michael and I are getting ready for our trip to WDW and a Disney cruise. I can't wait. We are taking the Western cruise...Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Castaway Cay. We will be taking our laptop with us so I will post some photos. 3 weeks from today...we will be at WDW

Thanks for reminding me why we hated the value resorts! lol I LOVE being a DVC Member and staying at such nice resorts at WDW. But, I guess if my only chance to visit WDW was to stay at a value resort, I'd take it....ah-em...reluctantly.
