okay so I (DW) have almost completed packing for DD with the exception of costumes and shoes. next weekend i will tackle DH and myself and hopefully be done so the following weekend i can get my hair and nails done.

WOW. You have some serious talent, that or way tooo much time on your hands, or combination of the 2. The DW is in love with the last option, and I am smart enough of a man to know what ever makes her happy makes me happy.

I need to print Donald, and cut out 3 more and i am done with magnets (yeah right).

Last night I printed the Captains hat and Minnie and the realized that my yellow was running out so my ears were purple instead of black. I tried very hard to convince myself that it didn't matter and that if I printed them again it would take a lot of ink. Well, let me introduce myself, I'm a perfectionist, so they were reprinted!

I know there is not much out there for the sailors hat and I am going to make that for you! Just give me a day or two, as we are readying for the cruise as well, and it will we be ready.

disney minnie - and anyone else using these... Like I mentioned on my Stateroom Ears thread, make a 7.5 in diameter circle template to make sure that your printing program did not alter the size. I don't want anyone to get them ready only from them to have been printed too small.

DH suggested we all work together on our FE gifts this afternoon....love him, hate he's gonna miss our fun. he will keep an extra FE gift to enjoy while we are gone, he can sorta be included...hint hint..you'll never guess.
ours is homemade...the adult gift, but lots of love in it
kiddies are drawing..they are designing their own 'dwarf' DH has them using their creativity

i can say from experience, anything goes for FE gifts..a little or a lot..just getting anything is the exciting part

i had practical planned, but changed into homemade for adults, glad someone is doing practical!!

idrivealumina, a real chiropractor, maybe you shouldn't have told us that, lol...you ARE on vacation, we will try to remember...

my parents left a few minutes ago, the storm is headed straight toward their path, tomorrow, so they left ahead of it

hopefully the gulf and atlantic will get this out of their 'system'...although anywhere on the magic is a happy place for me...

I have a sailor hat already. I just had to resize it, but it works.

As far as your DH not going we have a bit extra for you to take home to him (not practical either)

You are such nice parents to bring your youngsters from Austraia to Fl for a great vacation.

One of the sailors I am friends with married a woman from australia. He went back to sea so she took the kids back to australia until he is done with his sea duty in 2 years (he is stationed in guam). So being around you all will give us our accent fix. Excuse us if we make bad australian jokes, Mick Dundee and Crocodille Hunter jokes were a stable at our BBQs and parties.

Feel free to go nuts with the aussie jokes, we get such a giggle out of them. We can't wait to hear your 'accents' travis is already practicing his which I think is hilarious!

As for Vegemite, it's a staple in the Aussie diet. It's a breakfast spread that we have on toast and sandwiches. The kids have it every single day and we've been brought up on the stuff but I have to say I think it would be an acquired taste. I have a few friends from the UK who have tried it and are not really keen on it. I was thinking about trying to bring over some little sample packets for you guys to try if your interested, but I haven't found any yet.

Well I had better go and wrestle a crocodile before I start work.....

We are doing a quick tour first thing, the Seaworld Explorer Semi Sub, which only goes for 1 1/2 hour and then going to to wing it the rest of the time too. I am a little nervous about this myself but I guess we will hit Seven Mile Beach, shopping etc. Not sure if it's worth taking a cab or bus out to the turtle farm maybe

If you are coming in early or staying after the cruise, make sure to stop by Animal Kingdom and meet my DH Steve. He is a CM who works on the Wildlife Express (the train), Pangani Forest and Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Make sure to introduce yourself. He will be the crazy one getting the crowd to sing "It's a Small world" on the train!!

I copied the ships layout from the DCL website. and pasted all the decks with cabins onto a one page printout (ok the font is a little small).

I was thinking a map could and will be helpfull in delivering gifts for those of us who have never been on board. If you would like a map let me know and I can forward it to you or we could just bring plenty of copies onboard to update after the final pixie dust of upgrades has occured.

Whatever the group wants we will do.

I got a ton of stuff to try to make my own weird version of one today, I don't know how it'll turn out. It's a no sew, no nothing version inspired by some interesting pot holders I spotted today. But if you have a spare and it wouldn't be a big deal to add a 4th one, I'd appreciate it.

Can Castaway Cay stingrays compare to Stingray City? I am iffy if we want to do this or not...

We're winging it too, might even stay on the boat. I don't remember seeing Castaway Cay stingrays but the GC is supposed to be the best in the world for that (I think).

Two of our three Disney cruises have been "mystery cruises" - we booked Eastern all 3x and finally made it there...the 3rd time's a charm...right? So we've done 2 accidental Western's...this is the first time we've booked it and are looking forward to going to Key West for the first time. It doesn't matter where we go. Just get us on the ship and we'll be happy

As long as we're in Cozumel on Wed I don't care where we are the other days. I booked a dolphin encounter on our own that day and I don't want to deal with the hassle of rescheduling.

Hi Everybody - I was reading the posts about the maps and that is a great idea. The ship also does a "Magic Orientation" if it is your first time. The bad part is, I think it starts at 3:00! It is a great intro into the ship and everything that happens.

LOL!!!! These are so cool we have also decided to use multiple ones during the cruise.

I had pretty much a busy schedule till today for the past couple months. I woke up this morning and was like " Oh my God the trip is almost here and there is so much to do ". I can't wait till trip and hopefully meet some new friends.
