Tell you what, just because our Sept 5 cruise group has asked... I will get them done!

Thank you soo much! Both mine and my husband's favorite character is Goofy!! I am printing out the Captain Mickey for our travel mates door and also the girl birthday hat as the mom is celebrating her birthday while we are on the ship.

You really did a great job with those - you are very talented! I wish I could do that!

We will probably do the Key West Trolley, just not through Disney.

I was planning on doing that too.

Well we started making the FE gift bags today...

Wow this was a huge amount of work... It only took 2 orders from online and 4 runs to local stores. We kept feeling like there was not enough stufffor each person or age group. We are not sure if all the parents will let the children have everything that we put in the bags, but that is their choice.

Just being happy that we are mostly done.

Now to work on the practical stuff like packing and pirate costumes... This vacation is taking alot of work.

Now a question for the previous cruisers.... What do you think of some practical items in the FE gifts?

Practical works for us too, never know what you'll need! Your door looks awesome. Along that theme, did you still have the extra already made FEs you didn't want/need? I haven't been very creative and at this point mil and I are thinking that we may not get moving on this in time . . .

Our 2nd cruise, but our in-laws are cruising with us and it'll be their first!

Btw, they just got their docs on Fri. and they went through a TA.

DH got his termination letter yesterday, our schools are cutting to the bare bones, and he was in the first cut Good thing this trip is PAID for It will be nice to get away

My mom and dad came down for the weekend since dad won't see Payton for her bday (girls trip, remember) He took her shopping today, TGI Grandparents
Bless it, she got him in to juicy couture, a store she knew she couldn't get mom in....lol.....can't wait to get to this cruise!!!!!

Awesome, now if I go get some of the magnetic paper we'll be all set! Ears and FEs, oh my!

Btw, I was telling dh there's another baby in our group. Then I realized what I got for the kids won't be good for the under 2 crowd (our 2 infants are now a crowd ) so I picked up a special little something. Boy do I love shopping.

How many pockets do you need. I have 3 pocket ones made, but i might be able to put together a larger one for you. Just let me know.

Does anyone have the measurements for the area where the FE hangs? I am worried ours might be too long. I heard 9 inches wide on one of the posts, but I can't find it again.

We love practical. I hope the kids gifts we have are okay for everyone. I don't have anything different based on ages. UGH!!!

I am so ready. I have all our magnets ready to print. Still alot of work to do. Glad I am "working from home" a good part of this week as the kids have not yet started school and there is no camp open this week either.

It looks wonderfull. I am so going to use a metric butt tom of your DISigns for the cruise. I could not find who did the Mickey ears with the Sailor hat, i guess I will have to resize the small one I downloaded (Novice mistake)

From what I have read. Max of 9 inches wide otherwise it will interfere with the operation of the door.

Just measured my FE. 8 inches wide, 13 inches wide on the dowel from ear to ear the 13 was pushing it...but worked. 38 inches long, could have been longer...I love my FE I had a couple of trips to the chiropractor after it, so it actually cost me a bit..I pressed so hard on the ironing that I got a kink in my shoulder Don't forget the zip tie, I don't anticipate it walking off, but I would be irate...


mom is thinking about just 'winging' Grand Cayman..is this reasonable? I am such a planner, I think I will be !!!!!!!!

Can Castaway Cay stingrays compare to Stingray City? I am iffy if we want to do this or not...

Just a note, I sent a strongly worded email to the weather gods expressing how upset the DISers would be if there were tropical weather on our cruise. Everyone knows, nothing worse than an irate DISer! =)

I think that ANY treat we get will be WONDERFUL!!! Practical, not practical, funny, serious, big or small. I really appreciate everyone's effort!

Preston is home and I had him try on "school" clothes this morning. Well, the flip flops are too small and the shorts are too big. I will be exchanging the flip flops so he can wear them next summer and the shorts will get a belt. We will all say a BIG prayer that they don't hit the floor!

I bought a pair of walkie talkie's at Costco the other day. I was going to buy them at Best Buy ($81), but I grabbed the wrong coupon and decided to wait. When I went to Costco they had the exact same pair for $59. The price talked me in to it. I wasn't sure if Geoffrey was going to be happy about my purchase or not, so I waited a few days to show him. This morning I pulled them out of the car and believe it or not he had just looked at a pair at Wal-Mart. We weren't going to buy any since they say reception can be iffy on the boat, but I am a little nervous about having a way to communicate while we are on land. We were going to set up the world plan on our phones, but it would have been an extra $30 each plus $2.50 a minute to call. So we decided to skip it! Whew that was a mouthful!

Everybody's magnets are great! I think you can wing Grand Cayman. It is pretty easy to get around and tons of taxi's that will want to take you to the beach.

Aussieinvasion - don't forget to call the credit card company and let them know about your trip and cruise. I am trying to think of things.

If you are coming in early or staying after the cruise, make sure to stop by Animal Kingdom and meet my DH Steve. He is a CM who works on the Wildlife Express (the train), Pangani Forest and Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Make sure to introduce yourself. He will be the crazy one getting the crowd to sing "It's a Small world" on the train!!
