It seems as though we have a lot of school teachers on board!!

I am a school teacher also.

I retired from full-time teaching at a parochial school with many years of service. I taught grades 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6!
For the past three years I have been a Title 1 Tutor in the local public school system. I tutor K, 1, 2, and 5.

I work Monday through Thursday, 8:30-2:30 (with an hour for lunch).

I think that this is the best of all worlds!!
I get to continue working with the students, but I don't have any of the hassles, paperwork, etc. that go with a full-time job.

The past week and next week I am teaching 2nd grade in a Pre-Fall summer school program. I have 5 students - trying to give them a jump start going into 3rd grade. And also earning some extra $$$ for this cruise

I guess that I better tell my principal that I will miss three days of school because of the cruise (we're off Monday for Labor Day - so I will only miss Tues, Wed, Thurs).
It shouldn't be a problem!!

I think I said this before - Since I made a chart, I will gladly assign days to everyone, so the FE's will be spread out during the cruise. Is that ok with everyone? (I will put families together)

The FE sounds great to me! I am flexible and Abby and I are already thinking and talking about what things we want to get. YEAH! We are sooo excited, but I am sure I said that already.

Can we have the first day? Pretty please. One of our childrens gifts should be able to be used all week. But maybe we are just thinking about the little kids since ours is one. Not really sure how to handle pre-teens or teens. But we should be good.

I have done a lot of these disboards and I have to say, you guys are the nicest and most organized that I have ever seen or been involved with. I will take anyday, but not Friday so my Wednesday is fine. Also, are we doing two - one for the kids and one for the adults? We just got back from lunch and talked cruise the whole time. Hope everyone has a happy Sunday!

Ok, I have read all of the recent reviewa on the Radisson hotel and they freaked me out, so I cancelled. We are now staying at the Wilderness Lodge on Thursday and Friday.

We are staying at CBR on 9/3 and 9/4. Our plan is to hang by the pool and do downtown Disney.

We're staying at AKV 9/2, 9/3, 9/4. Same idea as you... Pool & Downtown Disney plus dinner at Carrabba's on 9/3 - our 15th anniversary. We may do some pool hoping to other Vacation Club resorts.

We got a deal on our extra night at AKV. We rented another DVC members points and got the Wed night for $88
