I'm still trying to learn more about the FE and if we want to participate. Let me know when absolute cut off date is.

Has there been any posts as to when/where we will all have our first DISboard meet and greet during the cruise? I can't wait until our 3yo DS will be able to meet new friends. He has recently discovered how much fun the water parks are at WDW (since it's too hot here to go to the MK or "Castle" as he calls it). Can't wait to see his face going down the slide on the boat!

We book our stuff Monday at midnight. I'm sure it's been covered on a previous page but are there DISboard tables for those with kids of similar ages to dine. We hope to have a few other 3-4 year olds at our table. (I believe thats the first time I've ever hoped for that)

Welcome again Mr. Incredible! I think we are meeting at 2 in the promenade lounge. look at the first post of this thread and info is there. We will probably do a 'pre' meet in the terminal when everybody sees my family sporting our lime green bracelets, lol!!!!!!!!!! Sure hope you join in on the FE's. Imagine that 3yr olds face when he has a treat in his 'stocking' every day!

I had planned to stay at radisson the night before and park and stay, rather than parking at the terminal, but due to recent reviews of the shuttle and room conditions, this WILL NOT happen. Now I am trying to decide where we will stay the night before. I REALLY want control of leaving on debarkation as we are headed to MK for DD12's bday celebration Any suggestions?

For FE, I've been putting together some stuff for both adults & the kids, so a grab bag for both.....but I'm just a shopping fanatic (**love** a good bargain) & have been been on a DIS quest, so that's just what I'm personally doing.

Be sure & send a note to sign up for FE if you're interested and not listed on the first page. I've been trying to keep up with recent posts, but don't want to miss anybody.

I Also, I think the greet is at 3, but if they're having the spa raffle then, I'll be a few minutes late.....somebody has to win, right?

And, please put me down for one adult bracelet.

We are staying at the Radisson, but I think we will all drive to the port together to drop off all the stuff and then Geoffrey will drive back to the hotel, park the car, and he will jump on a later shuttle. That way we will get there when we want and I can get everyone checked in. I know this sounds a little crazy, but my husband really wants to be there when it opens since the kids don't know. Of course who knows when they will figure it out. We are soooo excited about this surprise!

I think we should wait and assign days after the cut off date. I also think that we should probably have the same cut off date as the bracelet date so that people don't get confused. Just my opinion.

Queenof2princesses - I'm not in a very creative mood right now so the wording is not coming to me, but I was thinking that something about Labor Day could be in the cruise title. Just an idea.

Hello Everyone! Thanks for the great welcome. I am definitely interested in the bracelets - lime green is one of my favorite colors. I would like to 6 adult and 2 youth bracelets. How/Who do I pay for the bracelets? Also, I am intrigued by the Fish Extenders idea...can someone explain it more? Also looking to find decorations for our door, didn't like the options in the DCL book. Can anyone suggest some ideas? I will be here waiting for midnight to get into my ressies. : )

Hello Queenof2Princesses: I have booked a 2 bedroom suite at the Marriot Residence Inn. They also let you park at the hotel for free during the cruise AND have a shuttle which is $3 per person (one way.) I callled the hotel and confirmed this information with their front desk. We went to Google Earth and found the hotel and then found the DCL dock...it was soooo cool!!!! I heard some less than positive comments about the Radisson, and since I have used the Marriott for work as well as vacation lodging without complaint...I decided to go with them. There will be 6 adults traveling and 2 children and we haven't decided to go with the Marriott's shuttle or just get a taxi service since it looks like the Marriott is less than two miles away from the port. FYI. My travel agent warned me that we should carefully clean out our van before leaving on our cruise because the ants can get in your vehicle while it is parked for a week... Has anyone heard that before? : )

deadline to reply for bracelet orders is 8/14 8am, I will order these on this day..as this day approaches, I will get a closer count, if we get 100+ orders, sure we will, they will be less than $1.50 each, so let's wait and see that we get there...I am SO sure we will

dee..check pg 36 of this thread..i was a little type happy and posted a few links for FE ideas, pics, and door magnets...etc...

I have also heard about the ants, we have only parked there for 3 days at a time, but I will have the jeep detailed before we go, lol..it is a sand mobile as we live at the beach, no tellin what is buried in the sand in the back of it

fyi. there are several palo ressies available, i have been trying to change our time for the 4 of us on tuesday night for over a week. talk about waitin till the last miniute. trying to change from 7 to 6. finally had to cancel and then rebook. took a few hours to clear us from the system..you can only book 1 dinner, so it would not even let me change the time..finally did it. just got 4 of us on tues at 6, there are still alot of times...good luck all

We're 1 hour from reserving our dinner plans and excursions and I noticed something on our profile. Our son is 3 and a half but right now the only option to sign him up for is the Flounder Reef Nursery? Shouldnt there be an option for the Oceaneer club too? I would hate for him not to be apart of that club since we have showed him the videos of all the activities they do.

Hopefully its just an oversite on the webpage. Anyone have any info on signing up for the kids to their appropriate activity rooms?

I just got our shore excursions booked for the DH and I, and my DSIL and DN. We only wanted 2, one for Grand Cayman and one for Cozumel. Of course, we got both. I looked into booking brunch at Palo, but there was nothing available for it or the High Tea. No biggie though-just thought I'd give it a try just in case!! I hope everyone else got what they wanted!

I also need to call DCL tomorrow to link our dining with the DSIL and DN. Does anyone know if I can link our shore excursions? I'm assuming that since we are doing the same excursions at the same time that we will be together, but I want to make certain of that. I guess I can ask when I call tomorrow.

kasidak-Thanks for the info on the Facebook group! I just went and joined the group. I'm a Facebook junkie, so I was excited to see that on there! Cool deal!

We're having a problem with our reservation system that will prevent you from booking your vacation package or retrieving your reservation right now. We're sorry for any inconvenience. I am glad we weren't trying to book anything special. i just want to complete everything so I don't forget to later.

Incredibles - you probably already know the answer to this question, but just in case. Once you sign in the system will ask if your 3 year old is potty trained. If you click yes the system will bump up to the club.

aussie...- can/will you post on the first page about the FE? 1 treat per person per cruise? Thanks. This might help people know what is going on. And maybe post the bracelet/FE join date. 8/14 8am. Thanks for all of your work!!!
