09/05/09 LABORless MAGICal Meanderers

I emailed my TA about the price to upgrade to a cat 4 or 3, so we would have something to compare. She just emailed me back and we have been UPGRADED to a cat 4! Cabin # 8562:cool1:

Everybody please check the website and let me know if you have any changes, so I can update the FE chart.

Similingmouse Cabin # 5510

Congrats for the pixie dust upgrade.

And thank you for keeping us all straight on the FE charts.

how many name tags do you think we need for the meet and greet? 100?

I would love to get these done so we could move forward.

Michael

I looked at post 1503 and counted around 160. Not sure if everyone will show up to the Dismeet, so I'm not exactly sure what to say for a number.

I updated all my cabin numbers! Congrats on the upgrades!! How exciting! :woohoo:

Michael - thanks for the nametags. I am packed, just waiting on a few things that need to be last minute. We like taking some cards and games so that won't be packed till the last minute. Abby and I play hardcore tile rummy, if anybody wants to play - we will be on Deck 9!!!!

All the alcohol sounds wonderful. Didn't think of vanilla vodka for vanilla coke - genious!! We will have mango rum if anybody wants to share. We will also have pineapple juice and lime juice in our cabin!!! Thanks for the tip about not packing it. I would have. This is our first cruise bringing alcohol on. I am not even checking the weather till Thursday!!!

The name tags are done. I printed 210 of the dream name tag stickers. I figured if they are not all used for the meet and greet we can use them sometime during the week.

If there are leftovers we will just divide up the extras after the meet.

Okay, I just checked our reservation online again to see if our cabin # is the same. Our cabin # is not showing up anywhere on our reservation. I'm all checked in online and we have our cruise documents.

Shouldn't our cabin # show up?

I got a ton of stuff to try to make my own weird version of one today, I don't know how it'll turn out. :scared1: It's a no sew, no nothing version inspired by some interesting pot holders I spotted today. But if you have a spare and it wouldn't be a big deal to add a 4th one, I'd appreciate it. :goodvibes

I made a new disigned FE for you (mainly because I wanted to know if I could). It turned out pretty cool if i do say so myself. DW (Rose) is going to work on the decorations soon (today or maybe tomorrow). We just thought you would like to see it since I just finished it.

Ours showed up when I just checked. We are hoping you are getting pixie dusted.

Hi everyone,
Haven't had a chance to login until today. We're on the September 5th Western cruise with you. First time alone for my husband and myself, our daughter can't make the cruise with us this time. Also first time on the ship for my birthday on September 9th, so I'm rather excited (a little sad that this will be my first birthday celebration without our daughter). We've celebrated aboard Disney Cruises many times for my husbands birthday, daughters birthday and our wedding anniversary. But this will be my first birthday aboard!
We're leaving to Disney World on Thursday morning can't wait to board on the 5th.
Hope to see everyone aboard!!!

Welcome Aboard!!! Our family looks forward to meeting you!

Help please! I cannot find the telephone number for us to be reached on ship if there were to be an emergency at home. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Rebecca

These are the numbers that I found to reach someone on the cruise ship.
I am leaving these numbers (along with flight information) with my oldest son and some friends.

Emergency phone numbers for Disney Cruise Line: (found on the Disney Cruise Line web site)
1-800-326-0620 or 1-800-511-1333

I also found this information on the DIS DCL FAQ page for DISboards:
"Emergency Contact Number for Ships - Friends and family can contact you aboard the Disney Magic® or the Disney Wonder® by calling (888) 322-8732†. The cost is $7 per minute and CC information must be entered before the call will be connected."

I am not sure what the CC information is?? Could that be the confirmation number? I think that is what the + sign at the end of the number means.

I always hope that we will never need these numbers, but it's better to have them (just in case).

HI There, de-lurking to give a piece of information. This is the first cruise I ever booked but alas, had to switch to the 9/19 one. Still miss chatting with you all!

anyway,

the CC stands for Credit Card and yes, you must use a credit card or you will not be put through.. The charges run around $7.50 a minute:scared1:

Better let whom ever thinks they need to call you it really is gonna cost a "boatload" so it better be very important or it can wait until you reach home. What can you really do for anyone stuck at sea anyway right?

HTH

Geez!! :rolleyes1

I never thought about credit card. :upsidedow
But why would someone at home need a credit card if they are calling from their house? Wouldn't it just get charged to their phone bill?

Trust me!! - no one will call unless it's a matter of life or death - and even then, like you said, what can we do at sea??

But I still like to leave the information! You never know! :confused3

Thanks for the info.

We indeed got Pixie Dusted! Bumped two categories to a Cat 4! Still can't believe it. Our new room # is 8064. <Doin' the happy dance!!>
