09/05/09 LABORless MAGICal Meanderers

Can we still order bracelets? 2 adult and 1 child.

We would also like to participate in the FE festivities!!! This sounds like tons of fun.

Diana, Steve and Emily

I'm listed under the bracelet order 2x. The 4a 2c included the breakdown on the top 2 lines.

ibela 2 a 2 c
sbo123 2a

ibela 4a 2c

Sorry, my pm probably threw things off.

Ibela - OOPS!!!:rolleyes1 So sorry Irene, I have corrected that now..... I don't know how I missed that one:upsidedow my brain is already in holiday mode so it seems. 24 days until we leave:banana:

dibond38 - Thanks Diana, I have added your details to the first page including your interests in the bracelets:thumbsup2

mcarr1635 - Not a problem at all, sorry I was a little slow getting the information up on the board.

UGAFan0829 - Not a worry Missy, have missed catching up with you on here but thank goodness for work email;)

disney minnie - you are a smart cookie with that table, I can see that coming in very handy.

As for the poll for our name, is that something that I need to figure out how to do as I had the first post? Goes to show what a complete newb I am at these sorts of things:rolleyes:

One more thing I had to mention was that you may have all seen on here that I am leaving here in Australia a few weeks before the cruise starts, meaning I won't be able to update the first post after 24th. But by this time I am guessing the majority of people would have advised if they are doing FE's or not. Any late cruisers that join I am sure if they read the first post they will see our Dismeet time (hopefully).

Mel, I just wanted to say thanks again for keeping everything updated and organized for us. You're doing an awesome job, and we all appreciate it!
You're right about the work e-mail...it definitely brightens my day!:)

:thanks: Mel - for putting this thread together - and all of the work that you are doing :)

Have a wonderful trip - until we see you on the Magic :grouphug:

ibela - which trip? I took a trip at the beginning of July with Wilson and my mother and then.... I took Preston down on Friday morning and just returned.

The early July trip was fantastic, but could have done without the rain. I'm honestly getting a little worried about the weather on the cruise since it has rained so much in Florida this summer. Anyway, everything we did was fantastic! Wilson had a great time at The Pirate League ( I posted a picture earlier) and at all of our dinners. It was really a wonderful time. I will gladly fill you in on any of the meals, if you want to hear about them.

This past week we have been at my grandmother's house which is about 2 1/2 hours from Disney. I put Preston to work from the time we walked in the door and told him we would do something fun on Friday if he did everything I asked and did it without complaining. Since we have annual passes I decided to take him to Disney for the day. Initially we were going to only go for the day, but then I read that MK was going to be open until 2:00 am. I then called and found out that I could get a room at Pop Century for $84. Once I knew the amount I told Preston that we could spend the night if he wanted to pay for half of the room. My grandmother thought I was horrible to make him pay, but this was an "extra" trip and if he can spend $50 on a video game, he can put some money into his fun. Preston jumped at the chance to spend the night. Anyway, we left the house @ 5:15 am and arrived @ the hotel @ 7:55. We drove over to HS to ride the Toy Story ride. After waiting in line for a little while the rode broke and we had to leave.:confused3 Next, we went to Animal Kingdom and had a great day. It started raining, so we headed to the hotel for a nap around 3:00. We were supposed to get on the bus to go to MK @ 5:30, but didn't wake up until 6:00. Oops! We made it to MK and stayed until 1:20 am. I was EXHAUSTED!!!!

While we were at Disney I exchanged Preston's pirate costume because when we got home we realized that the hat was missing. I am telling everyone about this because this was the third time we had an issue with a Disney costume. Now don't misundertand, I LOVE Disney costumes, but I bought Wilson the Tinkerbell cotume in March and it was missing the velcro on the back, so we couldn't attach the wings, the first pirate costume we cought was missing the loop on the shoulder to attach the belt/sash, and then the hat was missing. So if buying a costume be sure to throughly check it out before leaving the store.

I will bring a copy of my FE chart for each family to the DisMeet. If you have room changes please be sure to let us know. Thanks!!!!

Hey Missy and Marlene, no worries - no need to thank me, I just wish I had been more prompt over the last week. I have been getting slack with the holiday planning. I guess because I've pretty much done everything and trying to get the boring non holiday stuff tied up now. Anyway, wanted you all to know after I read another thread today that I have added the shows for each day on the first post as well. Let me know if this is all correct:3dglasses

Just out of curiosity, is anyone planning to call the Entertainment hotline prior to the cruise to find out what movies are on etc? How far in advance is this info released??

Hi Kim,

 I love your calendars

Did you post the August calendar?

I've searched several pages and I can't find it

:thanks:

Well, just got home from my 3 nights in paradise...let me just say, the ship was WONDERful!!!! Not a single complaint..It rained on us 3 X at Castaway Cay, but who cares! Once we were in kayaks in the water and it cooled us off, and another we were under an umbrella on the beach...Life is good, even in the rain, in paradise! The ship hardly had any movement, I will keep my fingers crossed for 9/5! I am trying to post a pic...of my FE and door...We are watching suite life on deck and wizards of waverly place episodes that we missed..the stars from disney channel were SO nice, polite, and we were happy to be around them:) It is cool to see them on tv now after being in the buffet lines with them this weekend:cutie: I am a bit starstruck...Waaaay more than my kids, lol. Jake T Austin is completely adorable...:cloud9:

OK, figured it out...here is my door from yesterday:goodvibes

That looks fantastic!! You were so lucky to be onboard... love the news that there was hardly any movement, crossing my fingers and hoping like crazy it stays that way. Got the National Hurricane Centre saved to my favourites and watching like a hawk...popcorn::

Yes, I will order bracelets on Friday to make sure they get here in plenty of time. I will order extras though, so will keep taking orders until they run out:)

The 7th is the 'soft' final date, lol...

Well, wanted to share about getting to the port early..I got there at 10:25 (I got us lost at the port):sad2:

No worries, there was a pretty long line for checkin that begins at 11 (I think). Well, I waltzed right up to the Castaway Club line and I was #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The very first person in line!!! Then, when the CM's came to begin checkin, they called me first (the first CM on duty was for the Castaway Club desk) How awesome! Well, we all still got the same boarding pass....(2), but it was still cool to check in first...simple pleasures..

anyway, the moral of my story is..I will be early again, so look for the crazy lady in the red mickey dress with lime green bracelets...you can't miss her, lol....and I will pass out your bracelets in the port:)

Sounds awesome! I must've missed it, if you point me to the page number when you get a chance I'll go back and read. I could've sworn I looked though. :confused3 And I think it's a lesson learned on value of money to make him chip in for the room, I'm sure he could've opted not to. ;)

I will bring a copy of my FE chart for each family to the DisMeet. If you have room changes please be sure to let us know. Thanks!!!!

Awesome, thank you!!

That looks AWESOME!! :cheer2:

How should we deliver the FE's? Assign days? By decks? Everyone do it whenever they want?

I think by days, it would be nice to spread it out so there are a few things every day.

That said, I need to be "assigned" the same day as sbo123 because there's no way my in-laws will be distributing the gifts so I will be doing it for them and would like to not make 2 trips to everyone's cabins! :flower3:
