Okay... so I'm really bored today and decided that since we've almost got our dates confirmed for 2008, I'd check this thread to see who'd be down there when. And then I decided since I really have nothing better to do (well I do, but I'm not sure I'm ready to officially tackle my other projects yet) I'd make up a listing of who's going when so people can see and possibly plan any impromptu meets etc. Anyway, so I'm going thru the posts and realize most of you don't have actual dates for your trips. Long story short.. here is the list of who's going to be Disney'ing when. If I missed anyone please let me know. Also if you want me to add your actual dates you can post them or PM them to me and I'll keep this post updated as best I can.

My partner, our two boys (4) and (6) and I will be traveling with DCL on the Disney Magic during Spring Break March 15-March 22. First time DCL trip for all of us and everyone is really excited!

I loooooovveee FW. I worked there for 3 years and it's still one of my favorite places.

Are you in a partial hook-up site? If so, the 1500 loop is great because it puts you right near the Meadows area. It does back up to the 1600 loop, so you will be near a pet loop. Most pets that camp are very well behaved though, and I havent ever heard anyone in 1500 complain.

I love the Fort too -- my all-time dream job would be to be the pony wrangler.

We are actually going to be staying at one of the preferred sites (so we'd get cable -- I made this ressie waaaaay back before the writer's strike and was afraid I'd miss an episode of "Lost". Pitiful -- huh? It's still all good -- cause I like the resort station too -- WDW music! Oooooh!). I requested loop 100 or 200 so we'd be close to the beach and the fireworks (I'll be baby-sitting some number of grandchildren at least one night and it would great to be able to walk back from the fireworks instead of taking a bus.) A request is just a request so who knows what'll happen. I'm sure it will be fun -- no matter where we end up.

You are right about the pet-loops. I ended up in one on my last visit and it was fine! Everybody's pups were super-friendly -- getting licked-half-to-death was the only hazard that I encountered.

I am going to be cooking several nights -- you, Mr. Mike, and anybody else for that matter are certainly welcome to join us. I would totally love to put faces to names!

The 100 and 200 loops are great, although since they are part of the origional campsites (the resort opened with 200 or so sites iirc), they don't have a very big coquina pad. They are also very popular!! 600, as well as 500 (pet overflow) and 700 (pet loop) are also very close to the settlement, and make great backups if 100 and 200 are full.

And I'll eat anything cooked on a grill. When dining at a campground however, s'mores are the required desert.

Woohoo! My wife and I will be at WDW June 8-20, 2008. I'm going November 8-15th on a solo trip for my birthday. Then she and I will be back in January 2009 for the WDW Marathon.

I love having so many trips planned! It would be fun to meet up with "family" while there.
