YES!! we are pack... well sorta... umm.. maybe not.. OK so here's the scoop... We drove to Florida with a ton of stuff, Bedding I bought really cheap on Clearance.. Dishes.. etc etc.. Sooooooooo I had DH and myself pack our "cruise" clothes as well... So our clothes are hung in the closet at the Florida house.. No need to check luggage on the plane I did pack an overnight bag.. Jammies, and Clothes for Thursday.. since we are staying at a hotel close to the airport Wednesday night.. Better then waking up and driving at 3 am.. Our flight leaves Thursday at 6:30 am..

However........ we got a call from Direct Buy that a bunch of our furniture came in.. 5 Mattresses 6 Boxsprings, Some of the one sectional and a box that probably has the pillows that came free with the couch...

Soooooooooo now we rented a car from the airport.. going to drive to the Truck rental place, pick up the truck, go to Direct Buy, pick up our stuff, go to our house, drop it off, drop off rental Truck, drive down to the port, drop off rental car.. shuttle to the Ship.. Hop on board and RELAX!!! Well After the mustar station drill thingy..

Back from Tea.. Tried knitting for the first time.. I quit!! I think I will stick with my basic quick and easy hand stitching semi crochet bracelets and necklaces.. May I can make some into Cat & Dog collars..

Yea, I told DH well after all this on Thursday we are going to Need this cruise..

I am soooo Bummed.. my swimmer's ear didnt clear up and it is still clogged.. This is going to hurt flying and snorkeling.. There's no way I can snorkel Saturday..

I am soooo Bummed.. my swimmer's ear didnt clear up and it is still clogged.. This is going to hurt flying and snorkeling.. There's no way I can snorkel Saturday..

75 days prior or 45 days prior

I am so kicking myself in the Butt that I didn't reserve the Tea at the 90 day mark I was waiting for a definate answer from DH and I was stupid to wait.. I should of just booked it ad if he said he wouldn't be interested I could of cancelled..

Hi, everybody!

I haven't been able to reserve High Tea either, and I would love to try it. I'll keep trying--

pfishgirl: I love to knit, and am rather good at it. I've been knitting since I was five (my mom taught me), and I just taught my DGD this weekend. If you want to give it another try, let me know--maybe I can give you some assistance. It's a great hobby, and I save tons of money every year on mittens I'm making mittens for DGD's soccer team right now to keep their little hands warm on those cold Saturday mornings in November!

Well, it's back to work. My boss will be in court all day today, and I have to cover a string of meetings for him! I'll be here in the office until 8PM tonight, racking up a few hours comp time so that I can take an extra day off before my vacation.

I am so beyond thrilled as DH just let me know that he has arranged for childcare for our DD, boarding for our dog and is taking me to Las Vegas for a couples only trip two weeks before the cruise!!! For us Vegas is like Disney for adults. Plus we get two vacations almost two weeks apart.

Also I got a letter from DCL yesterday reminding me that final payment is due on Monday and then we get to arrange for PALO and shore excursions. DH will NOT ever pay early so we have to wait until after he calls it in to be paid off. I cannot wait for that feeling to have that monkey off our back.

I'm sorry to hear your ear is still bothering you. I had swimmer's ear all the time when I was younger. I lived at the beach and our Beach Club pool every summer. I had prescription ear drops in the medicine cabinet every summer between age 6-11. Has your doctor cleaned your ear out? I remember having that done a couple of times when I was younger. It was the weirdest feeling having inside of your ear all bubbling up and they sucked it out. I think they used peroxide (could be wrong). Just an idea to help soothe your ear. Also, it helps the medicine get to the problem faster. I know it can be painful and the pressure of flying may aggrevate it even more. Then, you won't be able to enjoy your cruise.

Everyone make sure to get your flu shots this year.

It would be a shame if you were sick during the cruise. Then you run the risk of being quarantined to your room. There are NO refunds if you are quarantined.
