DS's anniversary is 11/6 and DDIL's birthday is 11/28. This trip is an anniversary/birthday celebration for them as well as an anniversary trip for us. It's half-way between our anniversaries, since ours is 12/30.

We fly on Friday too. And we are retunring home on Sunday the 16th. We are flying out of O'Hare where are you flying from?

We are also doing the Friday to Sunday... Need to get those Park days in there We have a new house next to WDW so will be staying there... it's going to be sooooooooo different staying in our own home instead of a Hotel...

I remember you telling us about your new job at B A B. What fun. Maybe I will need to buy the autumn bear in NYC, if it doesn't sell out by then.

Will I be near your store? We are stying in Brick. Seeing customers on Staten Island on Thursday. NYC on Friday. We are going to Cape May and taking the ferry to Delaware for the day on Saturday. To Atlantic City & Ocean City on Sunday. Not sure what we are doing on Monday before we head to Newark airport for a late evening flight. We are also going to the ice cream place you told me about in Pt Pleasant. We are staying with a friend and he is doing the driving this trip, I will be at the mercy of two men.

Plutojudy--you're staying in Brick? That's our country! I see that you're going to Point Pleasant. That's one of our favorite activities on nice summer evenings. We're less than 30 minutes from there without the summer traffic. You'll have a wonderful time, and get to enjoy some of our beautiful Jersey Shore.

What size should it be? I can make a couple of sizes if you'd like, or you can resize it yourself. I'll post some final, full-sized copies within the next day or so. I'll put them on my website so that you can download at your leisure and it won't clog up this thread.

I got my cruise package yesterday! I didn't know it was there until I found Jim reading about renting a tux! He was going to buy a new one, but decided that, since we're camping beforehand, he'll just rent one this time. He wants me to make him a two bow ties and cummerbunds, one with a Christmas theme and one with a Disney theme, and matching wraps for my gown for formal night. It's a good thing a I know how to sew! His idea is to get as many pictures taken in our formal wear as possible, since we have no formal pictures of us. Our wedding pictures were destroyed many years ago in a flood in our garage, so an anniversary picture would be really nice!

Cool thing on getting your DCL package. We have been on the road for two weeks (riding through Birminghan, AL right now) and we will not be home until next Friday.

I have two Disney cummerbunds but I have lost my Disney bowtie

Speaking of older women.....here is the news from our group. DBIL is out, not going. Now the reason is almost unspeakable, but I will give it a try. He,....he...oh folks this is so hard for me to admit much less put in writing. Ok, I'll just say it right out. He does not like Disney, never did, never will. Oh my. The rest of us cannot even begin to comprehend, but he said he's not going and that is that. That would be Larry in the room with Larry and Pat. So, instead we have put our sweet, sweet mother in his place. She is our older lady. She will be 82 in a few weeks. Her first cruise, first trip to WDW. She was a bit leary, but we assured her that the stateroom is right there and she can rest whenever she wants, can party whenever she wants and at 82 we will allow her to do whatever she wants!

Annette's Mom went with us on a DCL cruise a couple of years ago. She was "only" 73yo but a bit frail. Still she did very well on the cruise. Your Mom will love it.

I just noticed how close most of us are on Deck 6. Seems like it's going to be a DIS section

We opted for the "quiet" Deck 5 forward section with the sideways cabin to be different. All of our other DCL cruises have been on Deck 7.

We've never been upgraded in six cruises, but that's fine with us. We like the inside cabins!

Same here! No upgrades in six cruises and we love the inside (more $$ for DCL stuff )

When do you start decorating for Christmas? We start Thanksgiving weekend.

Usually a week to ten days before Thanksgiving. We take it down late January.
