Have a great week! We head out to Montana tomorrow evening, not nearly as exciting as a cruise (even Carnival ;) ) and the World, but....

Brack, congrats on the win last night :cheer2: . Sad for us :sad2: :sad1: but we can be happy for our friends and that kind of takes the edge off. ;)

Thanks. They gave us a real scare! :scared1:

It was a good game.

DrHug played french horn for 12 years, age 9 thru 21. He commented to the french horn section last night how impressed he was with them. :thumbsup2

OUr DGS plays flute. He is a neat kid who is very comfortable with who he is and does what he loves. He started playing flute in 7th grade because he loved it. He said when you are male and have played flute and football at the same time in junior high you can deal with anything! :lmao: He is a junior in HS now and still loves playing the flute. His college plan is pharmacy (thinks Grandpa has a pretty good gig!;) ) but he said he would love to minor in music if he can. We talk with an admissions counselor next week, so we will see what she says. He would love to continue with band thru college.

Hay don't forget DrHug also can rock the guitar :hippie: .

Lucas is in his 2nd year of trumpet. He loves it, so we bought him one. WOW, we could have paid for half of a disney cruise. But thats o.k. we love to listen to him play. He also took private lessons last year.

 we'll be at the beach club starting Nov 28th......anyone staying there?
We stayed there this past November. We loved it! We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge this time around. This will be our first time at the WL. We are VERY excited. - Jennifer

We stayed at the WL when I was a teenager - about 15 years ago. We had a blast there - we did a land/sea back then with a 4 day DL and 4 day cruise. This was way back before Disney had their own ship... I think it was spring of '89 or maybe '90.

Anyways, we don't have any firm arrival plans yet, we're talking about flying down on the 6th, as there's a shuttle launch currently forecast for that day. Would love to see that. Maybe do a day at Sea World too. We'll probably stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Cocoa Beach and rent an SUV for transportation until the 8th.

Thank you for the heads-up on the shuttle launch. Our DS6 and DD4 would love to see that. DS6 had a BLAST on Mission: Space this past WDW trip.

We're booked for SSR starting on the 6th but we may try and switch to AKL when the six month time arrives.

Ok.....this is about to show a LOT about me; I CAN'T BELIEVE your SIX y/o RODE THAT!!!!!!!! :scared1: I only say that because for some reason or another, I'm terrified to ride that thing!!!! I guess it's true; ignorance is bliss. Kids will jump in there and do just about anything because they don't know of different stuff. Me personally, even though the people were STUPID, knowing that people have died on that thing is what keeps me off. But then again, I'm not wild about Space Mountain either. It's losing control of something; I have a big control issue.:confused3

DS6 rode Mission:Space TWO times this past WDW trip. He also rode Tower of Terror THREE. He is at the age of being tall enough to ride most of the rides and is more adventurous on the bigger rides. It like it. Since, I love rollercoasters and thrill rides! - Jennifer

My DW rode Mission Space one day right it opened. She did not like the sensation so she will not ride it again. She's not afraid of it. She just doesn't like the feeling she gets from the ride.

We didn't care for that feeling either, but it was pretty cool. Now they have 2 different versions...you can pick to ride without all that sicky motion....haven't been back since they opened that, but seems like a good idea....

Howdy all from the wilds of Montana. We spent the day at the University with DGS today. He loved the campus, loved the people, wants to go here! We worked with the registrar and have figured out what we have to do to get him registered as a resident since we are in fact moving here....10,000 a year less moolah times 6 years. :thumbsup2
