Yea, except the very last night when we were given like 3 drinks each within an hour.. :confused3 I had a Full untouched glass of Ice Tea with the paper still on the straw and look.. here comes another one..

:scared:

LOL, yup, us too, that was because he was spoken too. We, and Beth and Jim had a long talk with Michele and Liam the night before. Hopefull he will do better on next cruises.

Apparently, this was the first time he worked with Liam.. and he just couldn't get the swing of things on how Liam operates.. But.. Practice makes perfect and if I was really Parched, I would of kept nagging him til he brought me a Pitcher of water to serve myself :lmao:

There's still time for you to join us.. :rolleyes1

Tina was still trying to get me to go on the one in September but the only thing that is available right now is a CAT 9 and it's almost 50% more than what we payed on this one. Actually, truth be told, we're toying around with the idea of postponing a cruise next year (even though we absolutely LOVED this last one and loved even MORE all of you guys that would actually say 'hi' and get involved with other DISers) and we're thinking of moving to Orlando and working for Disney. We both are both in denial and wishing we were down there so much, plus the perks of being a cast member is too much for us. Cast members get to take cruises for $60 a night!! :scared1: WITH A VERANDAH!!! :woohoo: You drop more money than that at a dinner somewhere. So, here's hoping that we can decide what to do. :confused3

Since you wanted to go on the Liberty, you should have asked if they had any openings..I don't think youwould have been missed on the Magic. Everyone else here had a grand time, and Disney faults and all was still a great cruise.
What an incredibly nice thing to say.

We had our first inside cabin on this cruise and we learned NEVER AGAIN.

Question... Where does everyone order their Digital pictures to be printed from? I have used Walgreens forever but the last few batches were pixelated and I wanted to try somewhere new.. I have over 150 pictures to have printed so I didn't want to do it myself..

I do mine through walmart.com. They'll even mail them to your house so you don't have to go pick them up! There was only once I had a "quality" issue and it was only with one print. But when I contacted them about it, they refunded me the price of the whole print job. Not a bad deal :)

Same here. The kids even ate one dinner in the kids clubs at 5 PM and then ate again with us in the dining room at 8:30 PM. For the most part, our children behaved in the dining room. Just towards the end on our second to last day onboard did Cole start to throw things in the dining room. He had enough of sit down meals. He's two, so it is expected. I was proud of him for his manners the rest of the cruise. Cole LOVED his Mickey bars for dessert. I have some cute photos of him with a chocolate-covered face and a big grin.

Okay, I really do need to feed the kiddos. Later all! :goodvibes

Our server, William, had 10 little spoons set out for our 2 year old babies every night beginning on the second night. He said he expected to see them all on the floor before we left. :) The babies loved playing with them and throwing them down. He really was great!

Well we for one never received tickets showing our dining time and rotation. So we were counting on our dining team to advise us of the Character Breakfast. The only reason I knew were started in PC was because it was printed on our card and I checked the Navigator to see when the late dining was for those in PC.

The tickets were on your dresser.

Why thank you for blaming us for not having a good time. It was obviously our fault that our assistant server who not only told us he was leaving on the 15th after only four months with DCL but acted like it. It was our fault that not once were our drink orders waiting for us when we sat down. Yes we did advise our server and head server, but the lacking assistant was never replaced and never improved. It was our fault that the food in the main dining rooms were lacking, lukewarm if not downright inedible. It was us who saw Liberty berthed next to us at St. Maarten and wished we were getting on that ship instead.

We thought DCL would offer so much more but for us it just worth the extra. Sure there were highlights, but never has a vacation fallen so far from the mark as far as expectations. That must be our fault too.

So, I guess we will not have the pleasure of sailing with you again. :sad2:

We are on the Jan 3, 2009. We would love to have you and Tina join us on that one. They had cat 12 for 2047 for 2 people and that included transportation to the port and back to the airport. We are in a cat 11 for $150 more, but I think I will have DU change it to the 12. :thumbsup2

Yes, it was his first time with Liam. But no one else wanted to work with him, and Liam was assigned him, since Liam is a senior CM and they felt that Liam could work with him.

How's this one?

:)

An interesting observation...this is the first time I got seasick on a cruise, and the first time that I didn't have any trouble with "rocking" after I got back on land. I wonder if there's any connection? I think I'll have to book another cruise to do further research on this subject. ;)

Beth

My wife, mother, me, and three of our sons got sick, and I don't think it was sea-sickness. I got it first, on Sunday evening. I had to leave dinner early... even though I never vomited, I sure was close. I woke up the next morning feeling fine, and that's when things were roughest. Then our son, and my wife got it. They were down for about 12 hours as well. Then my mother and our other two sons, on Monday evening. By the time we docked at Saint Martin, we were all feeling fine again.

My rocking is finally gone today. It didn't bother me at all, but I could feel it.

Did anyone else notice that we pulled back to the dock at St. Thomas after getting about 15 feet away and one more couple boarded? We watched the whole thing from our starboard balcony.

Yes. We were on our balcony and cheering when they brought the ramp back for them.

I was on the Port side talking to Beth and her DH. We were wondering if someone missed, since they kept announcing their names, and then they blew that darn horn 4 times!! We were right at the adult pool, and that horn is LOUD!!!!!!

They thought that I was left on St. Maarten. They called the room several times and left messages, paged me but since I had the boys I left the beeper in the room, we were in the Walt Disney Theater and had no idea I just happened to run back to the room to get my purse and the beeper during the show since we were going to play bingo and the boys were going to go to the club, when I was walking out the door a man in white was going to knock on the door, he then asked me if I was ME and I told him yes I was and he said that they didn't want to leave me on the island but thought that it was probably a technical glitch since everyone else in my party left at the same time and came back at the same time, I told him that when I got back on the ship the guy swiped my card at least 7 times. He said that he was glad that I was on the ship and he was sorry for the inconvenience.

Does anyone have pics of the Kids Club staff members or Shutters staff, I wanted to put pics of them in the boys scrapbook I got pics of the everyone esle but them.

Wish I could help, but no kids so no kids staff or shutters :). Hmm...should I be :goodvibes about that...umm...yea :rotfl: .

I am :sad1: that I never got to meet you. Beth kept telling me you had signs on your door, but everything I passed by I didn't see anything. I thought I was going nuts, but she and I walked down there one day, and she didn't see it either.

Nope no signs on our doors I made two huge Mickey and Minnie's to put on our window so when we got off the ship we could see which room was ours but since I left all of our door stuff at home I put them on the door to our rooms but my minnie somehow grew legs and walked off.:tiptoe:

During the meet the boys had just gotten out of the pool so naturally they were starving, they ate at the table a few feet away from everyone, I snuck off for a bit and grabbed our lanyards. I am sure we crossed each other at some time or another but since we don't know what each other looks like it kinda makes it hard to tell...:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

During the group pic we were in line to see mickey and when we finished y'all were finished.

Yes, I made comments on our servers in the dining room and at Palo. But, I didn't let it ruin our cruise. Once I stepped onto the sandy beach of Serenity Bay all my worries went away and I was ready to rebook again, and again and again. Being a "Disney-Person" is a very special type of person. I honestly don't think you would understand it. :sad2: You went into the cruise with a negative attitude. I don't know if you're making negative comments because I had some comments on our service or if it is to get a rise out of me or others. Yes, everyone has a right to their opinion including you. But, NEGATIVITY is different than commenting on a not so par experience. You stated in a previous post that you have decided NOT to cruise with DCL again. So be it and move on. At least you tried DCL and now know it isn't for you and your family. Have fun on your next cruise . . . :rolleyes1
