No time to catch up this morning, but I do need to ask for prayers from anyone who is willing. My neice (Spoiledbrats3) who is with us got a call from the person watching her house that they were flooded yesterday. There is at least 4 feet of flood water in her home. You all may have seen the flooding in WA/OR on the news. Her neighbor said Geraldo Rivera was in their neighborhood. She is naturally very worried. She does have flood insurance which is a blessing. We plan to continue with our trip, relax and enjoy and deal with all of this mess after the cruise. Prayers will help her and her family alot. Thank you and we will see you all Saturday.

Here's how the conversation took place...

DH: so I've been thinking..
Me: about?
DH: umm.. DCL in 09
Me: Hides giggles.. ok, what about it?
DH: well what If we do the Tortola cruise in September of 09?
Me: should I call DCL and get pricing?
DH: well.. would that be ok with you?
Me: sure.. it sounds fun
DH: ok.. good.. get cat 1, cat 2, cat 3, and cat 4,
Me: umm.. ok for how many people?
DH: 7.. 4 adults and 3 kids.. if it is ok with you if Jay & Cin & the kids come
Me: okie dokie..
DH: call me back when you get the prices
Me: no problem..
DH: love you
Me: love you too.. oh by the way.. want the prices now or should I pretend to call and call you back in like 5 minutes..
DH: huh? you already called?
Me: duhhh, yea, yesterday when they came out I did..
DH: you know me way too well



I got prices for 2 adults, 3 adults *if ds comes* 2 adults 3 kids, 4 adults 3 kids and 4 adults 3 kids *if ds comes*

I even got a price for the suite and a cat 4 attached

I just posted on the other thread, and techinally we are Not even booked on the cruise yet.. We have a "hold" on a room but, when DH & I get on Our cruise we will put the deposit on the 9/12/09 one..

It is a Very cold 26 degrees today

We are expecting 1 - 2 inches of snow later today in Central Jersey As long as we can get to the Airport and Fly out of NJ on Friday... it's all good

We got over 3 inches of that stuff today. I have already shoveled the walkway and backed the car in. It's loaded and ready for us to pull out at 4AM tomorrow.

Good morning! Not many of us left Since we live so close - we don't leave until Friday afternoon.

I am definitely stressing - so much to do before we go, and I haven't even started to pack

DH got the all caught up. He's a sweetie Today we're going ice skating with friends in the morning - this afternoon I MUST start packing.

I leave Sat morning, and I haven't started packing yet. Friday morning, DS gets on a bus at 8:30 AM, I will then start packing. I also have to do his laundry, and pack for him and DD to go to GM for the week!!

I priced that same one out yesterday and printed out the info to take on the cruise with us. I mentioned it to DH last night and he looked at me like I was insane. He said "You want to book another one that's almost 2 years away before you've even taken the one we're scheduled on?" Well... duh....

I'll wait till we're on the ship and he's having a good time to bring it up again

I'll wait till we're on the ship and he's having a good time to bring it up again

Sigh, as much as I would love to join you guys, I had to look at cruises at the end of August, when the kids are done with camp and school. We had a phantom date for Dec 08, that I moved to Aug 09 for the Western. I put 2 of us on that one, and got the discount and our OBC. I will try to add another cabin on the ship for the same date. I was feeling that with DD being 13, and DS 8, we might do better with connecting cabins.

For 08, I am still hoping to get onto the EB Panama. We will book a phantom date for the end of 09 to transfer if we get lucky!
