Hey, I just saw that there was a 7.9 earthquake in the Eastern Caribbean... It was a deep one, meaning that there is likely to be little damage.

It was a little off the island of Martinique. Here's a link to the Google Maps...

Seems to be about 200 miles away from St Maarten, and 300 from St Thomas.

I picked up the latest James Patterson book in the Alex Cross series, "Double Cross".

DH is reading "Born Standing Up" - Steve Martin, and "Total Money Makeover" - Dave Ramsey

The third in the Harry Potter series.

Great pix! And it does look cold! We had snow flurries today--about 15 flakes, but it was snow! Now I'm ready to head to Florida! By the way, I agree with previous comments about your house. It's much too tidy for a family with kids! And your floors are fabulous!

More Disney dreams....

I dreamed I missed the 3pm Dis Meet again. I must be worried that I have timing issues.

I also dreamed again that I had forgotten to pack any formal wear for us. I'm guessing cause I've realized I still need to get some now.

Then I dreamed that the ship had to miss St Thomas for some reason. I just remember standing on deck and pouting and my DH trying to console me that it would be okay because the ship would take us somewhere else equally as great.

Hello everyone! Just found out about this site and have found it to be a big help.

Our family is so excited about the trip. Will be wifey, 12yr , 2 4 yr , and myself. This will be our 4th disney cruise but first in the last 4years. Hope all will go well.

Is there any big changes we should know about? I tried reading through the navigators and it looks as if its about the same with some minor differences.

I went to the Dress Barn today and bought a Red dress for Formal night.. I got it at 60% off plus an addition 10% off sale.. So my other, formal night dress which is Black & Gold will now be my Palo Dress.. My Palo dress which is Dark Brown will now be my Semi - Formal dress..

I'm happy--I solved the problem with my dress for formal night AND the problem with my bathing suit today. Now if I can ever finish I can pack and try that whole sleeping thing again. I think I'll go back upstairs and gather up all of my travel documents!

Well lil DD is doing 100% better. She's eating alittle and sleeping alittle - woke 4/5 times last night but I was so loopy DH did the night shift. Of course I called in my mom today to help watch her while I did things around my house . Just extra hands helps so much. I'm still loopy but hopefully I'll catch up on sleep tonight. Gotta start packing some stuff by this weekend or I'll really be crazy next week. And I'm sure I'll be in a much calmer mindframe after Saturday. It's my birthday and sis is treating me (along with a few girls - her office staff) to a day at the local spa.

Glad to hear your wee girl is better, on the road at least. Oh, I remember those nights...how incredibly drained you can be and still keep moving...Hope the spa helps!

Got a Grisham I haven't read, cheap in paperback. I always hate buying him in hardcover, I swallow them whole...mindless, but fun. Hope I get a chance to enjoy!

I feel like c***. Please, please please don't let me be sick. We'll have all of Julie's nightmares come true for the family if Mama's out of commission. Late, naked, confused... Was up late last night with the gift wrapping, maybe tonight I can get a good 8 hrs and fight this off.

Ok I finally went to the dr. today and got meds! he has put me on some stuff that will knock me out (which could be good - as it will force me to sleep!)

Today besides going to the dr. I have worked more on the outside lights - got the 2 trees wrapped and the ones around the top of the house finished

I took the kids skating
picked up my greenery we ordered
went to sonic for dinner
went to the drug store
Recieved 3 packages today from UPS
1. daughter's dress for formal night
2. razor for hubby for Christmas
3. A package from disney Shopping - which had a set of Micky Mouse red suitcases in it - the biggest one is mine - the smaller 2 are for my ds for christmas (he will get it on Monday night before cruise - daughter already has Tinkerbells one wrapped under the tree) he is just getting the one that is the size to carry on and a tote bag.

so after that came I started packing the big micky one - it has all our formal wear in it and some dinner items and it is getting full!

I am still waiting on another box from disney and my snorkle items that I ordered.

tonight I have to:
finish printing programs
wrap 10 gifts
arrange greenery
pack the swimming bag
wash 2 loads of clothes
clean up the kitchen
find our passports
get 2 boxes ready to mail

and watch the neighbors 3 kids from 5-10

oh and keep checking this board!

Hope everyone else is getting caught up on things too!

DS had a ferret for awhile once. PHEW!! Stinky. He kept telling me I would grow to love her, but nope. Too smelly for me! We have a 16 year old cat. He no longer catches mice or moles. He is a very sweet guy.

When i lived with my parents, my cat jazz would sit on their screened in patio and catch lizards. Unfortunatly those were her idea of presents for me!

I have been saving Stephen Colbert's I am America for the cruise. I pick strange cruise reading....maybe i will pick up a chick lit!
