I believe you will be able to see it anywhere. My grandparents were at Epcot twice when it launched. Unfortunately, they saw the one that exploded and even at Disney they could see the big pieces. They never watched another launch.
Oh, how traumatic to see that one live. I remember seeing it on the news. I remember 9/11 as well, that one is burned into my brain. I know exactly where I was and what I was doing when I found out about the first plane.
They never watched another launch.
I have a funny feeling that I might not even get one after we sail.
The old one that I built lasted 11 years so I guess we got our money's worth out of it.
We are in full packing and prep mode as we leave in 2 days! Woohoo!
I know everyone else is excited too.
And I have a 3rd memory as well witrh the most recent shuttle disaster when it reentered the atmosphere. I had just gotten in from jogging and was talking to Jennifer when we heard a real loud pop. We didn't know what it was at the time but it turns out that it was the space shuttle exploding. Truly another sad day I will never forget.
, I need to get to bed. Have to give myself a pat on the back--all the presents currently in my possession are wrapped! We may not get home until the 22 or 23, and I need to know that stuff is DONE. Now I still haven't started going through the clothes or packing, but I can do that while the kids are awake--wrapping presents, not so much.
