DS is up but not ready for school. I wish he was a little more excited today. We are doing double school so he won't have to do any on the boat. Plus we will have to do school all Christmas Break. I keep reminding him it is better than missing the cruise.

I chose it based on reviews I had read here on these boards, and the great rate I got through Priceline. About $75 a room for 2 Queen Beds. We're basically using it to sleep the night. Since we're landing at about 6:30 PM, and renting two cars, and then having to get some dinner, then driving to Port Canaveral, I figure we'll be checking in around 9pm. Then we'll be up early, we plan on getting to the port around 11:30 or so. We're planning on getting some carry on drinks, water, and other things we don't want to fly with that morning. We'll probably let the kids stay with an adult at the hotel to swim, if the weather is nice, or walk on the beach.

That sounds perfect. I will try Priceline. I am really starting to get excited. I am so sorry you are missing the launch. You never know, it could get rescheduled for Friday or Saturday. How cool to be on the boat when it goes up.

Weather.com says mostly sunny next Thursday. My husband says I should never check the weather any more than three days out. We used to have a commercial roofing company and he watched the Weather Channel hours every day. It was a big joke with friends and family. He had to decide what happened each day based on the chance of rain.

The last two jobs he did flooded a strip shopping center. I had $20,000 plus in wet Big Lots stuff. It happened because he was not on the site and the crew leader was in a hurry to get home and took off the old roof with an 80% chance of rain.

The only thing I miss about roofing is the monthly trips to Orlando. We even got to go more frequently when the hurricanes were going through the area.

Just caught a minute of the Simpsons. Homer just said "I have three kids and no money. Why can't I have no kids and three money."

I had an hour long conversation with a good friend late last night about her three kids and no money. Maybe that is why Homer's quote is so funny to me right now. I do often think the first part, never the second. Well maybe I wouldn't mind the "three money" .

DH just called and said he wants to build an electric car. Good idea since we spend almost $400 in gas each week. We are so bad.

We spend so much on gas because I refuse to raise my kids in Atlanta. I have been known to change my mind.

DM just called and is almost at her closing.

Must finish math.

Time to make beds while DS finishes math. He used to love math, now he loves to read. I want him to be excited about both.

Just got an email from BAB with the top five bears for Christmas. I really like the velvet one. I am sure she is sooo soft.

We took three of the boys for haircuts last night... including little Ryan. He sat on my lap, I asked if he wanted to sit like a big boy and he said "No, LAP!". He did really good, and look out ladies, he's quite handsome now! His hair grows like weeds, he's not quite two and this was his 6th haircut. We had to take him in before he was 1 because it was getting into his eyes all the time.
