Speaking of cameras, Bill brought back our new camcorder and got another one. After he finalized the disc, we watch it on the new tv. It looked grainy. It was VERY distracting. So, he got a Canon HDV. The footage looks amazing! :thumbsup2

 Bill is on his way home. So, he should be on here soon. (DISing and Driving :lmao:)

Several years ago, I get the call from our local school system, "Your daughter has been involved in an accident on the school bus and has been taken to the hospital." No one wants that call, but for me it happened. My daughter was thrown around and somehow the seat cushion came up and her knee was pinned under the seat cushion. She had to have surgery on her knee but it still bothers her today. If they had seat belts then, this injury would not have happen. They took 4 other children to the hospital. They were not hurt as bad.

WOW, this place is hoppin today. It's been so dead over the past 4 days! Glad everyone was busy eating, shopping and being with family :).

I'm cooking and posting...dangerous combo.

Veggie wars tonight. I've already pureed the onion garlic zuchinni pepper carrots and tomatoes to get the kids to eat the "meat sauce" without complaint. So am I taking it a step too far to puree some kidney beans?? :scared1: :tiptoe:

DW was cooking a cake last night and as she pulled it out of the oven the door started to close up on her arm :scared1: .... off to the clinic with 2nd degree burns. :headache:

:headache: Ouch! Please give Annette our best. :flower3:

Does anyone know of a grocery store near WDW? If not, I may google it or just wing it and hope our navigator points us in the right direction.

There is a large grocery store just outside the DTD area in the shopping center with McDonald's, Taco Bell and other fast food places. The exit off I-4 is where the Outlets and Dolly's place is.

That's horrible :sad2: I don't think I'd handle things like that very well with kids. :guilty:

Ack. I hope she's doing better today. :flower3:

:wave2: Howdy Jennifer

Did your son tell you how cold and rainy it was here this past weekend? It was yucky! Luckily, no rain on Friday for the Parade in Fort Worth. It was just cold. :cool1: We finally fired up the firplace this weekend. It was so nice being inside and cozy by the fire. Poor Bill braved the store on Saturday, while I stayed home all warm. He said it was a madhouse. :scared:

Not only did he tell us but I saw the S**W during the game Thursday  I always watch the half time show for the Kettle Kick-off and when I saw the S**W I yelled at Annette to look.

Also my Chief Accountant was at the game with her family and said she almost froze.

Ok, they're in bed. I thought I'd get the dishes done before pirate time...maybe not! Pent-up pirate pursuits, that's what I sense!

Oh, how awful. That would be so upsetting. I'm sorry it's a persistent injury. :(

And, ow, ow, owie!

Glad your ds is better, though, Jennifer, and also hoping for a good report on Ryan.

I have seen those specials on tv with a hidden camera on buses where kids go flying in the air when the bus hits a big bump. That footage was scary. :scared1: So, that image is always what flashes through my mind when I think school buses need seat belts.

- Jennifer

When I was a kid I would have loved doing that! :upsidedow

:cool1: I decided to have us drive to Titusville to view the space launch next Thursday. I've researched and read so much online. But, has anyone ever gone there to see a launch?

- Jennifer

Parade of Lights[/B]. I got us reserved seats. It was a nice way to start the holiday season.

One of the things I miss the most about Dallas (and OKC too) at Christmas time were the really "nice" neighborhoods that really went ALL OUT on Christmas decorations. We would ride out almost every night to look at different ones. :santa:

:scared1: I was in disbelief when we saw the snow coming down at Texas Stadium on Thanksgiving. Of course we had to run to the windows to see if it was snowing at our home too. :sad2: No snow here. But, it was neat seeing it on the tv and knowing it wasn't too far away. :goodvibes
