Guess it will be you and me keeping the thread going on Friday.:thumbsup2 We have always flown down on the day of the cruise. So far so good. Well, we did have a close call once but we got there in time. Missed most of the DIS meet though.:sad2:

I will be so busy Friday.. Packing for me and DH for the trip. Packing for the kids to go to the grandparents. And the kids have late afternoon Drs. appt...so I am not sure how much I will be on that day.

:grouphug: I hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow. Blessings to each of you! :grouphug:

We are staying home and cooking a ham. I found a glaze recipe that had reviews stating it tasted like a Honey Baked Ham. So, I hope they are right.
We are planning a very lazy day tomorrow. Macy's Parade in the morning and football watching in the afternoon into the evening. Our Wedding Anniversary is on Friday. So, we are keeping Thanksgiving simple this year, just our immediate family. I am planning our activities for Friday. Bill and I alternate years on who plans our Anniversary. So, I'll have to tell y'all about it this weekend.

Hi everyone!

Made it to the cabin and didn't forget the turkey. Almost forgot the cat.

I started cooking for tomorrow so I cancelled the reservations. Hope I don't regret canceling.

I'll have to catch up later.
I'm glad you didn't forget the cat! Relax and enjoy your cooking. It can be very therapeutic!

:goodvibes Thanks for the Thanksgiving smiley Brack. I just realized I can copy all the cool ones you post in a quote.

Bill just called and he is on his way home from work. He said the traffic wasn't too bad. However, he had just left.

Brack: I hope Annette gets home safely through all that DC traffic. I use to live in No. VA. So, I understand the craziness of the DC traffic. :headache: I worked in Arlington, VA.

- Jennifer

 Bill has arrived home safely. He said that traffic was a non-issue. He actually made it home quicker than normal. :drive:

We were invited to a Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. I'm kinda glad it's a late one - around 4 or 5pm - rather than an early one cause I really wanna sleep tomorrow. :rotfl:

I asked if I could bring anything and they requested my "famous banana pudding," which is fine except that I never received my bowl back from the last party where I took my famous banana pudding. :headache: So I'm going to have to buy another container to put it in. Not to mention I don't have the ingredients on hand, so I'm going to have to go to the grocery store tonight which I am not looking forward to at all. But at least it's less than 10 items, so I'll use the self-serve easy check out line.

  <-- will be banana pudding in my tummy tomorrow.

Merryl,

I saw on our calendar that Chanukah is while we are on the cruise (December 4th - 12th). Do you have anything special planned?

- Jennifer

Not really. DH and I don't exchange gifts..we kinda buy what we want during the year. Plus, we are taking the cruise, so I guess that can count as our gift. Since we will be home for the first four nites, if my kids "earn" their gifts back, they will get all 8 nites gifts those 4 nites.

If they have a candle lighting on board I will probably try to attend it. Chanukah for us is more for the kids. We usually get together and have a family dinner one nite with the in-laws, so I will miss that. My brother and sil usually do something, and have all my side of the family over, and their freinds..so that should be on the 8th.. and DH and I will miss that  . Can you tell I just love my side of the family!! I have spoken with my eldest and asked him to take DS and DD if they have it, and he said he would. I am still awaiting a phone call, if they are having the party, and "if" we are invited. My family is so fickle that way!! Boy could I tell you stories!! :scared1:

Hmm...I guess since the 8th is the 4th day and 5th nite, I can have umm...5 drinks of the day?? :cool1:

I tried doing that this morning. I ran in for a box of crackers for stuffing. Kids have been eating what I had in the house with peanut butter!! So, I run in, grab 2 boxes of crackers, a few bags of those glad steam in bags, and go to the check out lines. The self-serve are closed (it was after 9AM and I had to be at work by 9:30), the other lanes were full. The express line was the longest. I was going to go to Customer Service to complain and maybe get them to check me out. On my way there, a new express line opened, and I checked out quickly and got to work on time!! :dance3:

Oh, I will be busy too. I will be babysitting DGD's until almost 10pm that Friday. I will have to make sure I have everything done the day before.:rotfl: I am such a procrastinator. I will have to be organized though or I will be a total wreck.

What are everyone's plans for Thanksgiving tomorrow?

- Jennifer
Staying home and enjoying the dinner that DDIL is busy cooking right now! All I have to make is my "famous" cranberry/orange sauce.

I'm going to spend a lot of time relaxing and trying to get rid of this cold before it settles in. I have a lot of stuff to do the rest of the weekend, so tomorrow will be my "day off".
