My kids both collect Haunted Mansion pins. It is always interesting to me to see what people collect. My youngest really likes Pinocchio and has some really neat ones. Some characters are harder to find than others, but that's what makes it so addicting - er I mean fun

DH has.. HM, Pirates of the Caribbean and Tower of terror

He buys a Ton of cruise pins each time we go, to trade them for stuff he wants for his collection.. DCL Pins are always in demand..

I have a Big collection of Pooh Bear & Tinkerbell..

DS has Pluto.. but he doesn't trade or collect anymore..

We also collect Halloween ones

I decorated bulletin boards, mine has a Mickey motif, Df's is decorated with a Nightmare theme. We hung them in our family room. I have about a couple hundred pins, half of them Figment


My step-dad collects Hard Rock pins, and he hung his on guitar straps, i thought that was kinda cute

Figment is so cute!

My kids keep most of their pins in pin bags. Oldest has some jumbo pins in their boxes on display in his room. Youngest put his special "name tag" pins on a bulletin board in his room.

I just have a few special Tinkerbell pins I keep locked on my lanyard

Some are on like a thin cork board and in frames
Some are in Notebooks like Baseball cards
Some are on the floor waiting to be put somehwere
Some are in those trading Bags you can buy and stored on a shelf
Some are on a kitchen table in the attic, our Play room,

Oh and some are in a box or bag waiting to be put somewhere

And, we have some of my traders in our Florida house waiting to be brought onto the cruise

Hi, all!

Just checking in. There's no way that I can catch up on all the posts right now (when I left home we were on page 812) because I'm on dial-up. For some reason, the wireless won't work in this hotel room. They've offered to let me use the wireless in their office, but that would mean actually getting dressed again and going out of my room. I am SO tired that all I want to do is put my feet up!

So, just in case you saw it on the news last night, I am not at the Showboat where they had a major hostage situation last night and evacuated the hotel. I am safely at the Tropicana in a very nice oceanfront room until tomorrow morning. I'll catch up on everything once I get home. I've been trying for two days to log onto the board, but just couldn't manage to get in.

Please try to slow down so I have some hope of catching up!

I'll be home tomorrow night, and may have to stay up all night reading posts!

wow so if you are healthy all year you lose out. I currently do not have insurance (hoping to stay healty as a horse at least until next year) and the boys are under my dads insurance which is AWESOME thank goodness.

The nice thing is it covers all sorts of medical related needs such as prescriptions, durable medical equipment, etc. You can also put less in at the beginning of the year. I don't like losing out on it, but I don't understand it.

Congrats on the dress. What does it look like? Also, how dressed up are you getting the boys? I am in a dilemma over what to do with our boys. The "big" boy is taken care of for formal night. Also, I found myself and DD5 dresses already. But, our sons don't own suits.

I bought a little navy jacket and grey pants for ds and he looks toooooo cuuuute. I also got a "Mickey" tie at the Disney store. Do it, Jennifer--they'll only let you for so much longer!

Is anyone else driving down to Cape Canaveral on Thursday, December 6th, to see the shuttle launch? I know people talked about it, but no one said for sure. We moved around our itinerary to make sure we didn't miss this one! Plus, it is later in the day giving us time to recover from the previous evening at one of the parks.

Another word of advice:

For those with children, you can register them for the kids clubs online. But, you must also register them once at the terminal or onboard TOO. There is a registration desk to the right near the snack bar in the terminal if you have arrived early enough to do it before you board.

Ok...Most of mine are on cork boards, but we do have pins littering the kitchen table, counters, bookshelves, coffee tables, little boxes on the bookshelves, in the bedroom, They are EVERYWHERE!

We have a very big walkable attic.. Part of it is for storage.. the Rest is for Pins.. Ok and a TV, PS2 etc etc


I would LOVE to find some way to display them nicely and hang them on the walls.. I mean we have 2 houses worth of walls

Oh that's scary! Glad you're somewhere comfy, wifi or no.

Is the Tropicana the one with teh flamingos? We stayed there about 5 years ago. It was as far to our room from the lobby as it was from the desk at CBR to our room there!!
