You're so right :lmao: My kids especially have probably have over a thousand!

You can trade on the ships too! Does anyone need pins for trading at WDW or on the cruise? :rolleyes1 Our lanyards will be great for putting a few pins on! You never know when you'll meet a CM with a lanyard :woohoo:

Do you really just trade?

:scared1: :scared1: 1,000's of pins :scared1: :scared1:

my guys have about 12 each...and I thought they were doing pretty good but we have only been twice so thight might have something to do with it.:confused3

Yes, health insurance today is a joke. For a few years DH was self employed, and we did COBRA to the tune of about 1k a month. Man, what I could have done/do with that money!

I so hate paying for health insurance. How many cruises could we all go on with that kind of cash. I think people who have employers pay a portion of their insurance have no idea expensive it is. It sure is noce to have when you need it though. A kid in my DD senior class was diagnosed with cancer, no insurance and no true health care. Seeing the mess his family was in trying to save his life has softened the blow of writing that $1,000 check every month.
I hate the health insurance we are able to offer our employees. We pay in full for each employee and a small portion of whatever else they want. Often for the guys it would take a whole weeks pay to add their wife and kids. Even though the guys make decent money their wives have to work for health insurance.

:dance3:

Got all excited today when I got home as I had a BIG package from my travel agent and saw all kinds of disney stuff and thought I had all my cruise info. But not to be true - while it is disney stuff I needed it is not cruise stuff. What it is is my reservations and ME things for the 2 days before the cruise. We did a package with the dining plan and will take ME from and back to the airport. So I did get my luggage tags - just not cruise ones - but it is a sign that the time is getting closer!

So let me get this straight. You're in Disney and see a CM wearing some pins. You can just go up and ask for a trade? What if they don't want to trade?? Then what, do you beat them up?

:sad2: Yup.. THOUSANDS!!!!!! :sad2:

DH's ALL time Favorite a Haunted Mansion pin.. It was selling for almost $500 on Ebay and he calls it his "Big Boy"

They HAVE to trade you... If they do Not have the pin you are trying to give them as a trade already on their landyard.. They MUST trade..

CM who wear a Green Landyard.. will ONLY trade with children

Oh and they don't keep the pins.. A CM comes into work, grabs a landyard from Boxes of them.. and Goes..

EDITED TO ADD... DH chuckled at your last statement and said.. Yes, Yes you do and you Must where Mickey ears while beating them up..

My kids both collect Haunted Mansion pins. It is always interesting to me to see what people collect. My youngest really likes Pinocchio and has some really neat ones. Some characters are harder to find than others, but that's what makes it so addicting - er I mean fun :lmao:

Stacy....

What do you do with your pins?? I collect pins too..I started with Hard Rock ones. I just started putting mine in shadow box frames. I have so many pins to sort through and decide how I want them organized. The hard rock ones were easy. Disney..there are too many!!

DH's company has several plans depending on where you live. We have switched to a high deductible plan with a pre-tax HSA to soften the blow. The monthly deduction is less this way for us. The only bad thing is we cannot roll the HSA into the next year so we usually make sure we have used it up with either scrips or physicals, etc.

Some are on like a thin cork board and in frames
Some are in Notebooks like Baseball cards
Some are on the floor waiting to be put somehwere
Some are in those trading Bags you can buy and stored on a shelf
Some are on a kitchen table in the attic, our Play room,

Oh and some are in a box or bag waiting to be put somewhere

And, we have some of my traders in our Florida house waiting to be brought onto the cruise :thumbsup2

I decorated bulletin boards, mine has a Mickey motif, Df's is decorated with a Nightmare theme. We hung them in our family room. I have about a couple hundred pins, half of them Figment:love:
:figment: :figment: :figment:

My step-dad collects Hard Rock pins, and he hung his on guitar straps, i thought that was kinda cute

Hi everybody! :wave2: I've been trying to catch up all day and I'm still 20 pgs behind...hope to see you soon!

Ok...Most of mine are on cork boards, but we do have pins littering the kitchen table, counters, bookshelves, coffee tables, little boxes on the bookshelves, in the bedroom, They are EVERYWHERE!
