Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in ordering a lime green lanyard. They are sold in units of 100. If we don't need 100 between all of us, I'll see if the DISers on one of the other sailings want to buy some. Of course, this would mean we'd need to go with the generic wording.

I can't find my info on the canal cruise right now. What did I do with it??? Well, DU will be able to help me later. So just from memory I think it was close to $2000 each for the 2 of us in a CAT 11. We were able to get booked first morning fairly early. I know the prices kept going up by the hour. We are hoping, hoping, hoping to get on one of the repositioning cruises for the new ships. That would be 2010 and 2011, I think. We did send a request to DCL for repositioning on either of these ships and we got a reply "not yet".

I have it for the ringer on my cell phone and I either get a funny look or a smile every time I get a call.

Now THAT would be a cool ringer! I don't know if I can set my own ringers or not - I'll have my techie 16 yr old try to figure it out for me.

We are sad. . . Bill is the living room on his laptop watching football pre-game shows and I am in the office on the computer. However, we IM each other. What has the world come to? I guess it beats an intercom system or yelling across the house.

I'll need to get some stuff done here in a bit after I finish dealing with emails. Watch, when I can't be on here - everyone will be chatting away. Then I'll have to spend an hour getting caught up

Sounds like our house most evenings - kids on their computers, PJ and I each on our own. We don't IM, but we do occassionally email each other. We're in close range so a holler usually works fine

My Dad goes to the Daytona 500 every February. We are going to be in town that week at WDW this year. So, we might meet him one day and watching some practice laps. He said it is usually open to the public and you can get up and close to the drivers.

Last Spring, I bought Bill (DH) and my Dad a course to drive Nascars at the Texas Motor Speedway. They had a blast! My Dad is now talking about going to Talladega (spelling?) with a buddy to do it there too. I know they have something like that at WDW. But, you can't pass another car at WDW. At TMS they were zooming around the track racing and passing each other. It looked like fun!

I know we were very late to the game, but HD absolutely rocks! I am a HUGE football fan and it makes the viewing experience so much better. We were late to the whole DVR thing too and the positives that I had always heard about them are absolutely true. What did we do without them? Go outside the house?
