The only thing that is left undone is calling ME for our transport from MCO to WDW and back to MCO. I was waiting to hear if DVC had an opening at the AKV for the two days before the cruise but so far no answer. I'll call DVC tomorrow and check. If no AKV then I'll call ME for the transport.

My interest was peaked. The DCL website says there are cat 7s and 8s still available. There are not many left so it is almost full.

If you are really disappointed you can get to the port early and try to upgrade there. It will not cost much. We upgraded at the port from an 11 to a 9 on a 10 day cruise for not much. Around $500 I think. Way less than booking a 9 for a 10 day at Christmas.

I am happy iwth my 12, the price couldn't be beat. I have a feeling when we get to port there won't be anything left, since there are only like 7 cabins available. We might still ask though...lets get real...if others upgrade...you can only go up from a 12. But now worries, we are gonna be on the MAGIC!!

DCL does not use regular mail.. They use UPS, Fed Ex or some type of delivery service.. Which won't deliver to a PO Box..

We have a physical address for Packages using those types of delivery services so they just needed ours for our cruise documents..

We got a cat 12, deck 6 aft. I read the trip reports and its right by the elevator to Quiet Cove, so thats a plus or am i just being an optimist
We are thrilled just to get away! We ran over to Disney tonight and had dinner at crystal palace and went on Haunted Mansion....So it will be exciting to be around Disney for more than 2 hours at a time!

Ok my bad. I checked while I was logged in. I logged out and checked again both with just two adults and then with two and adults and one child and it showed cat 7 and 8 for our sailing. So not quite a full ship.

If its deck 6 you got an upgrade. Cat 12's are only on deck 2.

I asked a question and don't know if you missed it so I thought I would ask again. You said kids have APLAPLA, but families have PLAPLAP. Do you know or can you tell if two parents and a four year old would have the first or second option? We are in late seating so we know it will be either 8 or 8:15.

If your family is using a Travel Agent, it shouldn't matter.. well IF DCL sends all the packets to the TA and then the TA mails to your family..

We went out to Damon's...a steak house, with trivia. DH and I didn't do so well though. Usually we kick butt!!! Oh well.

We had a Damon's in our town a few years ago. My husband knew all the answers and I never knew any. It was fun for him. I wish they had a Disney triva night. I really miss the place. It is a Panera now.
