OK, we got a Cat 12 also. It looks like we're going to be neighbors with lots of DIS'ers!

Beth

OK, now I'm official! I finished all of my online check-in forms. I did have one of those "now what?" moments while filling out the payment authorization. I didn't realize that the people with whom I am linked would show up on that list. I think I'm a pretty nice person, but I'm not assuming financial responsibility for everyone on the ship! Gee, I didn't even have that nightmare yet!:rotfl2:

Beth

:rotfl2: I saw the same thing and I was like... Whaaaaaaaaattt :confused3

I can't even fill out our Credit Card information.. All we have is the plane flights locked in.. Anytime I try to add anything it says Error.. I need to be a Florida resident to do that.. :confused3 So I guess I will have to do it at the terminal..

I did call DCL the other day and I'm glad because they only have us with our PO Box in Jersey and not our physical address.. They don't send the packet to PO Boxes..

Well, then... Howdy, neighbor!! :lmao:

Wouldn't it actually be funny if every one of the Cat 12s was actually filled by people here? We could have our own little block party. :cool1:
Don't forget to invite me! Without posting an exact number, I'm right in the middle!

Not so much. We are 4 booking a 12, so 11 was "guaranteed" as none of the 12s sleep 4. Still, makes me feel a little better that if you booked at the same time and didn't get an upgrade either...misery loves company, right? Hardly miserable, not the right word, but I was really hoping for a split bath at least--it'll be cosy with 4 of us!

Pout. Pretty disappointed. Wasn't letting the lack of Palo bug me, but this--disappoints me. I know, don't book what you're not happy living with. Still, I read so many times first time cruisers are likely to get the bump up, we're celebrating "a big one"...eh. Feeling flat about it. I don't want to post our cabin number publicly, it's on Deck 6, kind of mid-ships I guess. Oh well, I'll keep busy going to look that up...
We were on Deck 6 near mid-ship on our first two cruises- we had 6083 the first time and 6085 the second. It was a fabulous location, and we've never been lucky enough to get there again. I really do like the inside cabins. And Deck 2 is really convenient for getting on and off at the ports and for getting to dinner! Just think about all the money you saved and the wonderful neighbors you're going to have!

Joanne,
I think ours was 6583 if that helps. VERY easy to get to and from the kids
clubs from there!

I hate to leave with all of you online, especially since Stacy just got back. I'm sure she's furiously trying to catch up right now. :surfweb:

But I can't hang any longer, I've got to get to bed.

Congratulations on all the cabin assignments. Have a great evening everyone!

Wendy

PS - I wonder what the bride and groom got????

Awww You're sweet  I understand the Time Zone difference though..
Have a great night.. Sleep Well..

Well.. I didn't think we'd get an upgrade and we didn't :confused3 We are still in an 8 and still in the same room..

Oh well.. We are still going to have a Great Time

:cheer2: Congrats to ALL with Room Numbers and Upgrades !!!! :cheer2:

Yay! We got an upgrade (12 to 10) which isn't a huge change, except it's a bit larger and we got the split bath. All I have to deal with is any potential noise from the bars, but I plan on being so exhausted that it won't make a difference!

Parrots Cay will be over my head. My main concern is the noise from below. I'm bringing my fan to drown out the noise. There should be alot more when we pull in and out of ports, not to mention the vibration.

Geez, I hope it won't be too noisey...DH won't be very happy with me!!

It's not that noisey anywhere on the ship :confused3

I have a stateroom assignment!!!!

Go check your reservations!!!!!!!!!

Ours are in also! We are all in CAT 11's, which is what we originally booked. So, just a little pixie dust, getting what we booked for a much better price! :woohoo: Three of our group is on deck 5 aft, near the Buena Vista Theater and the other 2 are on deck 6 midship. It's all good. I will pm to Wendy the room numbers.

OBTW .... we got our room assignment too :thumbsup2

We are still on Deck 5 but instead of the bow we in the aft cabins. It is very near the aft elevators and the theater. :woohoo: The reservation says that 5127 is a Cat12 but the reports call it an 11. ;)

I'm just happy to have a room :lmao:

I am sorry youa re disappointed. Seems some got upgraded. All the cat 4's from the toher day are gone. There are now 2 cat 8's, 2 cat 5's and 3 cat 7's. So only 7 cabins left, I guess we are a full ship!!

If you are really disappointed you can get to the port early and try to upgrade there. It will not cost much. We upgraded at the port from an 11 to a 9 on a 10 day cruise for not much. Around $500 I think. Way less than booking a 9 for a 10 day at Christmas.

:woohoo: Neighbors! :woohoo:

I have one Christmas tree up with only the lights. Now I need to pull out my Disney decorations to put on it. Two of the smaller trees are going outside in the front.

I found the big blowup Mickey Santa but I'm going to wait to put him out. My DW only wants me work on the inside things for now. :confused3

We have been on Deck 2 twice and it is a fine deck.....actually they are all fine decks! We have been on all but 8.

This is our first time not on Deck 7 and I am looking forward (pun intended) to a new experience. :woohoo:

I've made a mess with one of the alpine trees and my DW is VERY anxious for me to clean it up. :rolleyes1
