I don't know who I'm pulling here, by quoting myself, but I know several of you have done it...

I'm going to reserve nursery time for our little guy. I'm thinking from 10am to noon for the brunch... Does that sound about right?

When I booked it said 10:30 - 12:30

Don't panic, there will be opportunities for reservations once you board--especially since you'll be there early! Don't let it ruin your cruise. We never even tried Palo until our fifth cruise. We were too busy enjoying the regular rotation restaurants, along with all the other eating opportunities.

Yes you are right, as DH just walked in and asked why I was in such a funk, 'well at least we have dinner'. We know this will be our one and only DCL cruise so we are trying to do it all.

Somehow or other, our passports expired a year earlier than I thought! I was sure that they expired NEXT October 7, so the moment of panic on October 28 when I realized that they had expired was not a pleasant experience. So...Monday morning 10/29 we got photos, filled out the application, went to the Post Office and sent them off.

In today's mail were two brand new, fresh passports. The pictures are awful, but who cares? Now I don't have to go crazy trying to get a new birth certificate. I was born in Jersey City during the time frame where all birth certificates have been declared invalid and I would have to go to Trenton to get a new one!

Now, once I order Jim's tux, all of our details are taken care of. Maybe I won't have any more weird dreams. I really need to get a good night's sleep!

Good for you for checking and Yay for you for getting them back in time. I look at our passports once a week even though DD is 09 and ours are in 2011 and 2012.

I have to warn y'all, I got us a HUGE stocking for a fish extender. I put all our names on it. I think it came out cute.

The more items I pick up, the more real this cruise feels. I keep looking at the store to see when they will put the suntan lotion on sale. Not yet here! I love the spray one. It is great for the kids. I am usually spraying DS2 while he is moving. He doesn't stay still very long these days.

I can't believe that!!!!! Only a week and a half!!!! What did you do to the postman to get it so quick??!! Threaten to sick a neighbor's dog on him if he didn't run it there himself???? That is amazing!! Congrats to you and everyone else that is getting an extra amount of Just remember, if you haven't gotten your pixiedust YET, please don't get upset. I know we're all going to have a GREAT cruise just because we get to be on "the big red ship" and have the time of our lives!!!!!

On a completely unrelated note, I cannot explain my reaction to Keith Urban. Ok, so he's Aussie. Ok, so he can sing really well. Ok, so he's kinda hot. These things are not usually things that affect me a great deal. Well, maybe the Aussie part.

But there is something about that man that makes me think I could just eat him up with a spoon.

ETA: I'm watching CMT if that wasn't apparent....

Didn't watch it all last night BUT I'm with you on this one.

It never goes on sale here. I just bucked up and bought another can of the spray sunblock. We have on my sister left here 2 months ago and I know they only used it a time or two, but I just really can't tell how much is left in it. Something about the way the spray ones work, the cans all feel the same. But we both burn too easily to risk taking it and not having enough, so I'm taking it and a new one.

I had a hard enough time convincing DH to sit at a table with 13 dis crazed strangers . I will be at the meet, I am not sure if he is gonna be with me or be at the bar .

OK, I just tried to access my reservation and got the message that I couldn't because it's currently being serviced. Could it be---maybe---I'll have a room number?

I keep getting this randomly today too and it's also the first time I've ever seen it. So I think they're definitely shuffling us around today.

Maybe tomorrow will bring stateroom numbers

Well, if all we have to provide is a CD, no making prints, no sorting this for MOB (mom of bride), this for Aunt Mable, etc, etc and we could get $1000! Whoa! a couple of those and you guys could take Annette and I on another cruise!! You already have the equipment and the talent!

You know, it's funny--everything about this vacation has been pixie dusted! It's as though it's just meant to be. I will never know what made me check the passports, because I just "knew" that we had gotten them in 1998, right around the time that I had some major dental work done. Jim had to go to the same dentist today, and guess what--that work was done in 1997!

Things are just working out well--the lower price, the passports, the fact that "the kids" will be able to join us for so much of the vacation, the great air fare that we got which enabled us to spend an extra day at WDW, and yesterday Jim got a bonus at work! It's not much, but it will pay for an extra visit or two to the Cove Cafe. Now, if I can make my luck hold out and hit a good-sized jackpot in Atlantic City next week, I'll buy all of you an extra beverage at the Cove Cafe!

It's time for this cruise, because the weird dreams are starting to get to me. Last night I dreamed that they had converted all of the rooms that were booked as Cat 12 Gty to real Cat. 12 rooms! The ship looked so ugly with boards over all the verandahs and portholes, too! I was so glad I woke up. At least they let me on the ship, no one cared about the fact that, instead of luggage I had all my things packed in cardboard boxes!
