I am definitely not a night owl! It will be a struggle for me to stay up past 10 PM!

Beth

 Night owl here! Trouble is when I am cruising I like to be up for the sunrise. So I tend to nap on deck four during the day.:thumbsup2

Now I'm gonna have that song stuck in my head all night long... :rolleyes1 :music: :lmao:

I figured out it wasnt for me half way through...that song is the one of the only things (besides no refund on tuition!) that kept me from quitting. I knew my mom would sing it for the rest of my life

Yes we live in the UK (wish we didn't) - where abouts do you live?

We're in Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia), probably closer to you than anyone else here--except Wendy, I guess, who's in Belgium. 4 hr time diff from GMT, much faster (and often cheaper) for us to fly to London than Vancouver!

We leave 30 days from today. We are not excited here at home at all. No not us.

OMG! US TOO! OMG, I am so not ready!! :scared1: But excited? Ya think? :hyper: ;)

I used it last winter, and it seemed to work pretty well. I tried to buy it online this year, and no luck. I did read somewhere that Canada was actually hogging it all up for themselves (no kidding!) but wasn't sure how old that news was. I didn't know if it was off the market or what. Is it still readily available in Canada?

Yup, didn't realize it was NOT everywhere, I keep seeing it. I'm assuming it's caplet form? We can't get the Airborne here AFAIK, and um, if it's gritty there's no WAY I'll get the kids near it...may be confined to Arthur chewable Vit C...

I never understood the hoopla about how some disers were not going to let their daughters watch that show anymore and how dare she do such a thing. I like Charles Barkley message about I am not a kids role model, that their role model should be someone they know personally and can be there for them when needed.

What did I miss?

Congrats Stefanie!
Is that the disney store thingy on line?? Ya know I have never ordered anything from disney online.. :confused3

You love "the hunt" right?? I know there are a bunch of us here...the Disney outlet is GREAT, even occasionally worth the horrendous shipping charge to Canada, although I'd rather get it shipped stateside and pick it up. (Our last trip we had a big box waiting for us at CBR, dh brought home some stuff from his business trip, I even got a friend in MA to re-mail it for me from her house once...) GREAT deals.

So according to what i have heard....Tomorow us GTY folks should be getting our room assignments??? Very exciting!

Tomorow for work we are taking a field trip to wdw to check out all of the resorts (the values and the moderates), Im the know-it-all of the class, buts im very excited to see all the room catagories (even suites!)

Off to go make meatloaf!

I do hope we get something this week!! I can't wait!! And we are all terribly jealous of your "field trip". Pout.

Ok... this is really weird. I made this post a couple days ago... and its just now showing up as I posted it today. :confused3 How weird.

I did read it originally, found it weird to see it again, but then again, it IS weird... Weird. :confused3

So THIS is where everyone is! The *other* board is soooo dead (Beth, you know what I mean!)

Just want to say "hi" to everyone! You will probably recognize me on the ship...I'm the one bent over at the waist running after a giggling 2 year-old shouting "stop licking the TV!"

Hmmm...ok, I'll look--sounds like an interesting chase! :welcome:

I have a bunch of small bubbles left over from a wedding that I can bring for everyone for sailaway. Shall I bring them?

That's a great idea, but we have a four-pack of Curious George bubbles from a party store. (My kids have always loved bubbles!) So, we're in, but you can share with others in need!

Verrry cute Emi. I love that older style of drawing.

Thanks, party city had a huge book of disney invites for weddings, b-days, birth announcements. It was hard to choose my favorite!
What is the weather like in nova scotia like today? It was cold here for florida today, i imagine it was freezing way up there!

Oh, hang on--you're eloping. Why do you need an invitation?

A little confused...though far be it from me to suggest you miss any of those bridey things! I tore my hair out for a few months, but really loved it. As soon as you said "invitation", I got all misty remembering our invitations...

They have ddr on the ship!?!?! my df will be in heaven!

They did on the Wonder.. I only assume the Magic will have one as well..

Too bad our son won't be coming, he needs someone he can challange ;) I'm still a begininer except for 3 songs I memerized.. :goodvibes

DS does expert and sets the speed to Difficult :scared:

Oh sorry, i should have mentioned we are having a ceremony in front of our familys and a dinner in February. Its going to be very casual so there is no stress for me:cloud9: I just wanted to have "my wedding". Its been my dream to have a disney wedding, but we just couldnt justify the money for a 50 person event. So this is a compromise:love:

It's 4C right now, that's what--around 40F? It got up to maybe 10-12C today, pretty good for November, dry and sunny after our wild weekend. It's been a reeeeally mild fall, supposed to get up to 13C this week...high 50's? That's shorts weather! (At least in November! ;) ) I'm hoping to go buy some spring bulbs this week to plant with dd before the ground gets too hard. They are calling for freezing temps and some wet flurries this w/e...figures, we're driving four hours to see MIL and dh's family.

Sounds lovely, less stress and still plenty of time to celebrate with the people you love. :thumbsup2 And actually, nice to have the wedding part more private in a way so you can enjoy each other more.

Was it just in the "teen area"? or could anyone play? We live on the second top floor of our appt, so we can't play ddr much because we like to be nice neighbors, so he will be so excited.

Im really excited for the towl animal class!:cheer2:

Dead just doesn't describe it!:rotfl:There have been three messages since Halloween--two from me and one from you!

DrHug use to :snooty: ewwww, those are stupid looking. BUT, I got him a pair and convinced him to wear them "just around the house, no one will see" and now he wears them to work every day. Will not wear anything else! He is a pharmacist and stands in one place up to 12 hours, sometimes without a lunch or break, and his feet are a MESS from doing that for years. With these his feet do not hurt at the end of the day. He's a believer! :thumbsup2
Jim wears Crocs now too. He broke both feet a year ago in July (another funny story that I'm sure he'll be glad to tell, along with why he left the ship in his swimsuit after our first cruise). He swears by his Crocs now, and has convinced a few of the guys he works with to buy them too!

We leave 30 days from today. We are not excited here at home at all. No not us.

In 30 days we will already be at WDW. We leave home on 11/30 and arrive on 12/1. I can't wait, even though it means sleeping in a tent for five nights! The whole family is getting really excited, but first we have our trip to Atlantic City next week. Then we'll really start getting into "high Disney gear"!

Beth

I was afraid people would give me a hard time, but i was suprised at how understanding my family/friends/even Dissers! have been.:bride:

Dh is lonely and I'm tired, so I think I'll go snuggle on the couch with my guy...maybe I'll gather strength for the pirate run, ;) but in all likelihood, it's goodnight for us. :wave2:

Well if you live in tampa or orlando they do! They offer part time occasionally you have to be lucky to get it.

Here is part of my wedding invite i said i would post, i took a picture from the book on my cell phone so the quality isnt the best.

I have been living in florida too long! I remember in chicago we would be wear shorts at 50 and 60 degrees. In the fall and winter in florida people wear the same winter clothes as up north. I was at the grocery store this morning and saw a few winter jackets. It was in the high 70s!!!
I went to buy new shorts for the cruise and i couldnt even find any in the stores!:confused3
