I am not sure what you would be interested in knowing. Here goes...I homeschool my two youngest, run a couple of truck repair facilities, active with church, love to craft/decorate for holidays, I am remodeling my home and have a terrible addiction to anything Disney. None of my friends have any idea how much I love Disney. Oh, my other secret passion, anything relating to economics/economic policy.

There's a couple other people here that homeschool. I'd love to pick all your brains. :rotfl: I think one of the greatest things would be being able to do things like this cruise while traditional schools are still in session. DH and I are so used to being able to travel according to our own schedules that I think it would be hard to adapt to planning around school schedules.

Do you think the people who aren't DIS'ers but are still cruising are just as "strange" as we are?

Beth

The only strange thing about them is that they are missing out on our fun here. :surfweb:

I did forget to include that I love statistics and playing with the results.
One of my favorite courses in college was called "Logic and Probability", and that's exactly what we did. I can still figure the possible permutations of numbers on a lottery ticket as long as I have a calculator!

....what is a sig?
A sig is the information that appears in our posts after the main posts. If you don't see my picture at the bottom of this post, go to the UserCP and edit your options (it's really easy, just follow the links). Make sure "Show Signatures" is checked, and you'll be all set.

When I called DCL to link all of our Dining ressies together.. I had a couple of questions as well.. and the woman asked.. Is your group part of the Dis Boards group?? I said Yes, yes we are.. She said she keeps hearing it's the BEST way to find out all about anything and everything Disney.. She said she would go home That night and check it out.. :thumbsup2

Yes, I have 2 pairs of the flip flops and LOVE them. I was not a beliver until I wore mine at Disney and really my feet were so fine at the end of the day. My sis has the MaryJanes and the boat shoes and is on her feet all day for work and swears by them.

I love the way my original style Crocs feel, but they're kinda clunky looking. I was looking for something a little more streamlined for the cruise. I thought the Nile one would be good as a water shoe too since it has the large part across the top and a heel strap.

It's funny, your mom sews, you don't, I sew, and my mom couldn't glue a button on.

My mom taught me to sew on her old 1968 Singer machine. When it came time to get my own, I was looking at all the new models with the bells and whistles and thought... :confused3 So I went on Ebay and bought a 1969 model. Almost identical to the one I learned on. :thumbsup2 And back then, those things were made out of pure metal. Built to last. :yay:

I'm thinking about maybe trying to sew myself something for formal night at this point. Haven't had much luck in the stores and I'm reluctant to buy online cause you never know about the fit.

Awwww... I wish I had a DD :guilty:

I keep telling DH that if he could guarantee I'd get a girl, we could start trying tomorrow. Reason #198 why we don't have kids yet. :)

I think the DCL crew is very familiar with the DIS. On our last cruise they were astounded at how big we were. :woohoo:

As the parents of a boy as an only child it is not bad.

Then what are they waiting for?? DCL Needs to give all us Dis'ers our own Cruise !! :dance3: They have a Pin trading cruise so why not a Dis Only cruise?? ;)

Growing up with two sisters, I always thought I'd want a boy. But, so far, the new generation has all been boys. My nephews are great.... but I've just been thinking more and more about all the stuff I'd get to do with a girl for Mommy time. And DH isn't really the type that's all into sports or recreation and such, and he's said he'd be happy with a girl too.

But, the way I hear it, you kinda take what you get. ;)

We don't have to wait for them .... we can just take over and book out the ship. :thumbsup2

Who wants to take over the DCL Wonder or Magic ?? We will have a Dis only cruise.. We need to book the ship completely up so no one else can..

:lmao:
