Thanks Jenn, I almost missed that. (I stalled, and dh is chopping the onions instead. I keep telling people, he didn't have money, but still, I married well...) Anyway...

We went to the Grand FLoridian tea in the tea room (not the Princess tea) last time and she did love it, and the staff did treat her royally. (I asked if they could do a slipper dessert for her, we were celebrating her birthday, and they couldn't--I had received the wrong info from the reservationist. They felt really badly about it. Anyway, a little later they brought her a card and a lovely Aurora headpiece and bracelet... ) Hmm, should reconsider the options...the "Princess" tea is, I think about $200 and this isn't the trip for it...but there may be other things, as you say.

She's at my elbow and wants the :cheer2: :cheer2: princess:

HMMMM Ok so let me think lol If you are staying on the property you can request a birthday wake up call from a princess and they should send balloons and a autographed card from a princess too. We requested the birthday wake up call and the balloons and card were a great surprise.

HMM didn realize it cost so much for the tea. WOW I cant find any other Princess dining other than in the parks. Epcot and Magic Kingdom @_@

Guess they want you in the parks lol who knew ;)

Thanks! i have lost 5 pounds so far...10 more to go! But seeing as i wont be able to resist the buffets the first 4 days of the cruise maybe i should loose an extra 5! I wish the wedding was on day one so i could stuff my self silly!

Jenngoofy: My fiances idea of "grilled cheese" is american cheese on bread and a microwave!

OH MY rofl:rotfl2: OK mine actually makes Grilled Cheese :rotfl2: although I have seen him microwave one before rofl ;)

I LOVE love love to Bake and decorate everything I bake.. Once you see me on the ship you will know just what Baking all the time gets me.. popcorn::

I do cook dinner almost every night.. Depends what the Men want for dinner.. Sometimes I get off easy with Soup & Grilled Cheese..

I don't bake anything special so I have no fancy receipes :sad2: I can make Chocolate Chip cookies and others from scratch... But other then that cake mix comes from a box..

Choclate Pudding pie is my favorite with a Gram cracker crust.. :cloud9:

When DS was young, I would melt chocolate down and make the lollipop molds for whatever Holiday is class was celebrating..

Oh and CupCakes in Icecream cones were always a hit

We didn't get any additional discount when we did it.
No, we paid full price for each part of our back-to-back, and one was a holiday cruise, so we REALLY paid a lot of money for it!

Oh lord, bad weather AND housework? :snooty: Nope, good weather to try out our gas fireplace! Oh, and I picked up "Fantasia" at the library this week, we've never seen it. :3dglasses
I love Fantasia, and Fantasia 2000!

Good to see you, Brack--you've been so quiet! Hmm, I dunno...I've got some self-tanner left from our trip to WDW last January...though at its current age I might come out orange... Of course it was so freaking COLD on that trip that my pasty limbs didn't get to scare anyone, they were hidden under pants and jackets as they expected for that time of year...
Jim gives new meaning to the word "pastyness". With his red hair and pale skin, all that happens when he gets out in the sun is that his skin turns bright red and his freckles turn green! Oh well, with those colors, at least he'll blend in with the Christmas decorations!:rotfl2:

Don't forget--you can stuff yourself with good stuff at the buffets, too. In six cruises I've never walked away from food (well, except for the Pirate Night buffet. I just couldn't eat another bite!). I've never gained weight on a cruise because if I'm not eating, I'm busy doing something else that's active. Just walk a few extra laps around deck 4 and you'll be fine.

Hellooooooooooooo..........
Came home and went right back out for PIZZAaaaaaaaaaaa.. But it is Pete and Elda's Pizza in Neptune.. Not your normal pizza parlor pie.. It is really really thin crust and sooo yummy.. I ate 3 slices!! and Calamari..

We stopped at Hoffman's in Point Pleasant for THE Best icecream around.. Bought a Quart of Strawberry and I got a pint of Coffee Oreo.. It will be great with our Tea a little later on..
I am so jealous! Your dinner sounds great, except for the Calamari! And Hoffman's ice cream is definitely THE best. Now you made me want ice cream and I don't think there's any in the house. I wonder if I can convince the family that we NEED to go to Point Pleasant? The weather's calmed down enough now and it would just be sooooo good!

Jim does most of our cooking, and Lori (DDIL) is our baker and candy maker. I enjoy cooking, but they just won't let me in the kitchen most of the time!

Congrats Coastgirl on the Pirate !!

YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY!!! Do you have the t-shirt??? Their pizza is really good. My older DS's have many many shirts. So does DS's GF. DH has one too. We haven't been there in a really long time though.

We had pizza also, but just the newest local place. Was in the mood for thick, so we ordered a sicialan pie.

Okay, I just have to tell some sneaky Jasmine stories for JoiseyMom.

When Jasmine was around 4 years old, I came downstairs one weekend morning and found her standing in a corner of the kitchen with her back to me. I couldn't figure out what she was doing, until she turned around and her mouth was all covered with lipstick! She had her chapstick in her hand, and had been furiously rubbing it on top of the lipstick - I guess to erase it. :confused3

But wait, that's not the funny part....When I asked her, "Jasmine, have you been in my lipstick?" She looks at me with a straight face, and says "no Mommy." I said, "why don't you go look in the mirror and then let me know if you want to change your answer?" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Then about a month ago, I was checking Jasmine's email to see if she'd read the messages I'd sent to her at her Dad's. I go through periodically and review her messages. (For awhile I had to decrypt them, as she and her friends would change the font to wingdings to encrypt them.:rotfl:)Well this time, I was reading her sent mail and she was replying to a message one of the kids in her class had sent her. She said, "that's really funny. But sorry, I'll have to delete it since my Mom goes through my Email sometimes." Haha she FORGOT about deleting her own messages. :lmao:

Thanks for sharing. He has been sneaking before, and I have been trying to stop it. Of all my 4 kids, he has been the sneakiest. My second oldest DS used to sneak candy, we found it under his bed. But nothing of this magnitude. Geez...he ate a poop load of candy!!!

How did you punish Jasmine??

I like to bake too. I have a few specialties. This pistachio cake, which is a doctored cake mix, but is really yummy. A great italian cheese cake, very very fattening, my gf's mom's recipe. And my family loves my challah rolls. I bake those for the Jewish Holidays and sometimes Thanksgiving. I usually cook every nite.

Remember how I said my Crocs broke, but I looked on the website and they'll send replacement rivets for free? I got a padded envelope in the mail from Crocs today. :cheer2: They sent eight rivets.

I've thrown them in the suitcase, so if anyone has a Crocs emergency on the cruise, track me down. :lmao:

ETA: Does anyone have any of the other styles of Crocs than the traditional ones? They've really been pumping out the new styles lately. I was looking at the website and thought I might like to try the "Nile" style, but I've called around and no one locally seems to stock them. I hate buying stuff like that off the web cause you never know how the sizes are gonna run.

There are few breads better than a home-baked challah!

Build A Bear even has Pink Crocs for the Animals :rotfl2:

So does anyone here bake Baklava? Cause I've had a wicked craving for fresh Baklava... :confused3

Harry & David Catalogs are just plain Evil !!

Is anyone planning on being down by the 6th to see the Space Shuttle launch? I am thinking of coming down so we can see the launch. I think it would be amazing. What if it is delayed and we see it from the ship? That would really be special.pirate:

Sadly, No, we have not been able to obtain a Tshirt :sad2: Even on my hungriest day, I can't seem to eat an entire pie alone :headache:

Yes, however, I recently had the Harry & David version and it was not much different from my homemade. I was thinking of buying some from Harry & David and repacking it for gifts. Don't tell.

Good to see you, Brack--you've been so quiet!

I've been on the road a bit and work has my full attention right now which means little time to DIS. :sad2:

The worst part? ....... this thread has gone into hyperdrive! My chance at anymore pirate:'s are nonexistent. :sad1:

He does all the cleaning and laundry...so i figure its the least i can do. I went to culinary school so i like to cook, but if he was in the kitchen it would be grilled cheeses every night!

My wedding dress (the one i have to wear in 5 weeks) doesnt fit! i did a bit too much stress eating, so i will be high protein low carbing it:yay: until i can zipper it up!

Whoa! I think I would look into getting it let out just a tad now. Remember you will not be wearing it until day 5 of the cruise! :rolleyes1

My fiances idea of "grilled cheese" is american cheese on bread and a microwave!

At least I toast my bread in the Toaster first Before I microwave to melt the cheese.. ;) Only when I'm making grilled cheese for myself.. If the Men want them I do it the long way
