He does all the cleaning and laundry...so i figure its the least i can do. I went to culinary school so i like to cook, but if he was in the kitchen it would be grilled cheeses every night!

My wedding dress (the one i have to wear in 5 weeks) doesnt fit! i did a bit too much stress eating, so i will be high protein low carbing it:yay: until i can zipper it up!

I always thought I'd like to go to culinary school. But then, I figure it's probably not as fun when it's a job. I love to bake though. Cooking, I can take it or leave it. But I  to bake. :goodvibes

Maybe that webcam link was a distraction? (NOT strategic on my part, I missed seeing her--didn't know!) I thought there were more of us around...

Yes...restaurant work is hard! Still have this dream of a b&b for elegant breakfasts and an excuse to own a lovely old home...

Ok, formal training wins this one. Cleaning and laundry--maybe even better. I've given up on the laundry, and on the cleaning, he just needs too much supervision...:sad2:

I hope the adreneline carries you through, Emi and you don't have to work too hard for the dress.

Yes...do you know is there anything besides Park Faire? The reservationist suggested the Swan with CHip and Dale; dd loves them, but...not what I was thinking you know?

If you are looking for a meal i dont think so but there is a tea with the Princess at Grand Floridian. Or take her to the Bibbidi Botique and get her hair done and go any where on property for dinner they will treat her like Royalty. Chef Mickeys really is great for birthdays. :)

That was me, I went for 3 Semesters of college. I got a job at "Heaven on Seven" any Chicago dissers will know it. Its an upscale cajun restaurant, i was a fry cook....It did not go well at all! i didnt know that being a cook entailed scrubing grease off of a wall from 2-4 in the morning after the restaurant closed. It was a great job from 4pm to 11pm!
I love to bake too! do i smell a disboards recipe exchange?popcorn::

Ok, one more post--anyone around to look at the webcam now? I just saw what I think is her rounding the point on her way out? Would that make sense? That feels better if it's her, I was sad to miss the departure!

Thanks! i have lost 5 pounds so far...10 more to go! But seeing as i wont be able to resist the buffets the first 4 days of the cruise maybe i should loose an extra 5! I wish the wedding was on day one so i could stuff my self silly!

Jenngoofy: My fiances idea of "grilled cheese" is american cheese on bread and a microwave!

Looks Like Her :D :cool1: i sent another message about princess stuff ;)

Looks like it might be her. The coloring looks right. It's kinda grainy though.

Thanks Jenn, I almost missed that. (I stalled, and dh is chopping the onions instead. I keep telling people, he didn't have money, but still, I married well...) Anyway...

We went to the Grand FLoridian tea in the tea room (not the Princess tea) last time and she did love it, and the staff did treat her royally. (I asked if they could do a slipper dessert for her, we were celebrating her birthday, and they couldn't--I had received the wrong info from the reservationist. They felt really badly about it. Anyway, a little later they brought her a card and a lovely Aurora headpiece and bracelet... ) Hmm, should reconsider the options...the "Princess" tea is, I think about $200 and this isn't the trip for it...but there may be other things, as you say.

She's at my elbow and wants the :cheer2: :cheer2: princess:

Oooo...yes, the buffets...I'm "Weight Watching" and am down, 3 or 4 myself, but my "D Day" is the day we embark, not 5 days later...that would be challenging...:scared1:

Hellooooooooooooo..........

Went to Kohl's and Fashion Bug... spent less then $30 and picked up a pair of silky pajamas, pants and top.. and 2 Tshirts and 2 dressy shirts :thumbsup2

Came home and went right back out for PIZZAaaaaaaaaaaa.. But it is Pete and Elda's Pizza in Neptune.. Not your normal pizza parlor pie.. It is really really thin crust and sooo yummy.. I ate 3 slices!! and Calamari..

We stopped at Hoffman's in Point Pleasant for THE Best icecream around.. Bought a Quart of Strawberry and I got a pint of Coffee Oreo.. It will be great with our Tea a little later on..

Congrats Coastgirl on the Pirate !!

Hello all,
Jasmine and I have had a busy day. She's a bit annoyed with me for not checking on the thread, and missing out on the 9000th and 9100th pirates. :rotfl2:

We did some work around the house and made a Buffalo Bills Christmas stocking for her Dad. She's also going to make a fleece pillow for him with the rest of the material we have. And we went through our Secret Mickey stash to see if we need to pick up anything else when we make a PX run tomorrow.

I guess its time to hit the hay, as if it weren't for Jasmine looking over my shoulder right now, and correcting my mistakes, no one would be able to read this message. :rolleyes1

I'll have to catch up on the rest of the thread tomorrow. But for now...

The current score is based upon
100th post = 1 Pirate
500th post = 2 Pirates
1000th post = 3 Pirates

Okay, I just have to tell some sneaky Jasmine stories for JoiseyMom.

When Jasmine was around 4 years old, I came downstairs one weekend morning and found her standing in a corner of the kitchen with her back to me. I couldn't figure out what she was doing, until she turned around and her mouth was all covered with lipstick! She had her chapstick in her hand, and had been furiously rubbing it on top of the lipstick - I guess to erase it. :confused3

But wait, that's not the funny part....When I asked her, "Jasmine, have you been in my lipstick?" She looks at me with a straight face, and says "no Mommy." I said, "why don't you go look in the mirror and then let me know if you want to change your answer?" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Then about a month ago, I was checking Jasmine's email to see if she'd read the messages I'd sent to her at her Dad's. I go through periodically and review her messages. (For awhile I had to decrypt them, as she and her friends would change the font to wingdings to encrypt them.:rotfl:)Well this time, I was reading her sent mail and she was replying to a message one of the kids in her class had sent her. She said, "that's really funny. But sorry, I'll have to delete it since my Mom goes through my Email sometimes." Haha she FORGOT about deleting her own messages. :lmao:
