So I am looking at a Harry & David holiday catalog.. and YUMMY!!!! is all I can say.. popcorn:: I'd like to order 1 of each basket.. I was looking at the Baklava :cloud9: but you can only by it in a huge basket :sad2: They need to sell it seperate.. :thumbsup2
I avoid those holiday catalogs at all costs! I wouldn't have any money for cruising if I even opened the cover of Harry & David or Italian Swiss Colony!

OK, I'm just about ready to head out for work. My big project will be finished this afternoon, and, for the first time in years, will be submitted early!

Well, I have to get my shoes on, feed the fish and the cats, and catch my train. I'll be back to chat later once I hit the office!

Beth

Awww... I hope he doesn't remember his nightmare :guilty: I hate nightmares..

Thank you  He was up bright and early this morning, which is great. I hate having to wake him up in the mornings, there's always the chance that he'll be a grump. But he was in a good mood and told me he remembered it but didn't want to talk about it. But he seemed fine so I'm not worried.

It's Friday!

I've never used the Dancing Banana smilie, so that was a first.:thumbsup2

So, let's talk about the Secret Santa deal. :santa:

Does everyone have all of their little presents? I went through and made a chart with everyones ages and room numbers and made note of the gifts to put in their stockings. So I have a person for every gift.

Has anyone else organzed theirs?

How many do you guys have?

Got a bit more secret Santa this morning myself...

I have to go print the current list and see how many. I am doing a couple of "generic" things--e.g., something cool (I think!) and small, times 50 or 60. My budget is working out to 2 or 3 bucks a person. (Plus shipping and handling! That would be...me, and dd is helping.) I need to give additional thought to the under-3-yo's as I don't want to be the source of introducing any choking hazards into their cabins. Ds helped me this morning (he's home from school again today) and dd is just bubbling...she's already decorated her reindeer antlers and has a flashing red nose. We won't be sneaking very effectively. :tiptoe: :rotfl2:

Okay, I'd like to start a game...popcorn::

What is your favorite new TV show?

What is your favorite old TV show that's still on the air?

What is your favorite TV show ever, on air or off?

Too cute! I hope I see her try to tiptoe past me.:tiptoe:

Tonight and tomorrow night we are in Martinsburg.

We're staying at the Holiday Inn. When we checked in they put us in a room that had luggage and personal items in the bathroom. The person hadn't left yet but forgot to tell the front desk. They were very apologetic and gave us a suite. :woohoo:

JoJo the DISDog is with us and snoring right beside me now.

:lmao: :lmao: That happened to us years ago in Las Vegas. :lmao:

Enjoying "Life".

Probably "Law and Order" though I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND IT THIS SEASON!!

Loved Frasier, though it doesn't hold up as well in reruns for me. Still watch a LOT of Star Trek reruns, all the series...

Gotta go get dd from preschool...:wave2:

Hi All !!

Well I went to court and I told my story.. Parked by the cement blocks that mark parking spaces, saw no signs that said we can't park there, called the courts 3 or 4 times as well as police department and noone could tell me what to pay.. The officer who gave my son the ticket was there so I spoke with him as well.. The ticket was in DH's name since he is the registered owner of DS's car.. So I'm glad I didn't mention DS's name or pull him out of school..

I waited around and guess what?? The ticket was thrown out and no fees were charged.. Soooooo I was Very happy.. and I promised the judge I will never park in the Library in the wrong area again.. :thumbsup2

Good for you!!

I have never cruised before so I am hoping i will be happy with a Cat12 because we don't know any differant...although i wouldnt complain if they wanted to give me an upgrade, we gave DCL all of our money for the wedding:bride:
From what i hear the inside cabins are nice because the pesky sun doesnt wake you up.:coffee:

9 cruises, we have been in a 10 SPH room once, upgraded for a fee to a 9 at the port once and were moved to a 9 last cruise because they could not get the plumbing issue in the 11 bathroom resolved. The other six have all been in cat 11. We did Cat12 gty this year. The inside staterooms are fine for us. We sleep, shower and dress in the room otherwise we are out having fun. And we do sleep very well in the total dark. We have to have Mickey call and wake us or we would sleep from the time we go to bed the first night until the cabin steward woke us on the last day I think!

I haven't seen one new show!

What is your favorite old TV show that's still on the air?
ER

What is your favorite TV show ever, on air or off?
Star Trek: Next Generation

Probably "Law and Order" though I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND IT THIS SEASON!!
It's on USA network! It might be 10 PM on Thursday, but I'm not sure.

I can't find a costume either :sad1: some of them are just SO expensive! We will both be sporting pirate ears then!

I have a full long skirt, a fluffly blouse, dressed up with pirate jewelry. I just found a blouse for my mom at Kohls. I think the women in our group are all set up as wenches

Our story. Dennis and I were chatting and having a great time and he was not paying attention to his speed. Trooper Turner stopped us and had a chat about that. :rolleyes1 He wrote a ticket and in Oregon if you go to court they will cut the fine in about half so we decided we would go. Well, Trooper Turner had written the date to appear on a Monday HOLIDAY! Court should be closed on Martin Luther King Day. We weren't sure though and went to the courthouse anyway. It was about an hour drive, but we were off work anyway and we were together so it was a nice drive. :) The court was of course closed, there was a camera by the front door, I looked straight into the camera and :confused3 . We then called the court on Tuesday and said, we were there..... So, all those tickets that Trooper Turner wrote that particular day (yep he put that court date on all he wrote that day) had to be reviewed by a judge and then the judge decided whether they would be rewritten. I'm not sure how the law goes that would allow that, but..... most of them, including Dennis'. were just dismissed. :woohoo: I bet Trooper Turner never made that mistake again after his chat with the judge! :rotfl:

Oh, I ordered a sword for dh with my "Pirate Wench Elite", and now I'm wondering, can we put that in our checked bag these days? I'm sure it's plastic. :confused3

Yes, plastic swords and even toy pirate guns are fine in checked luggage. We bougjht a pirate gun of DGS then wondered. We asked at Orlando airport when we checked the luggage and we were told "yes, we know what those are!" :rotfl: :rotfl: Guess they've seen a couple of those leave WDW!

Woohoo! I'm not at the bottom of the list anymore! :dance3:

Julie I totally missed your reply in the lagging and refreshing...yes, it's worth tucking the corkscrew in unless someone has other experience.

You can bring a corkscrew, or ask your steward. Your steward will also bring wine glasses for you. :woohoo:

Okay, I want to play my own game, but first, can someone show me how to make multiple quotes on one repy? When I quote, it goes straight to the reply screen. I can't go back and quote someone else. Help please.:confused3

We're the same. Our anniversary is actually this month, but DH can never get time off in November, so we're calling the cruise a belated anniversary trip.

And we are celebrating 40 years this year. Oct 6 was the date, but I plan to celebrate ALL year! :woohoo:

We are just doing small generics.

I just learned how to do this last week when someone else asked, and I feel like a genius! (Hey, doesn't take much!)

As you're reading through posts, there are "buttons" down in the left corner, one is quote one is +" and the third one is...the pen and sheet, the quick reply. When you see a post to which you want to reply, hit the MIDDLE one (+'"). Then when you've done that for all the posts you want included, hit the regular "post reply" button down on the left corner. Then you can just type between them.

Now, how you break up one post for replies without your typing just being in the middle of the quote...:confused3
Maybe Beth will volunteer! :worship:
