I hope you get your upgrade!! This is our second cruise, and our first cat 12 (we were 10 last time) GTY, but we only booked a few weeks ago. I will be ok with the 12, but wouldn't mind something else. I just wish they would make up their minds adn give me a room number .

From what I have read on the disboards,upgrades don't seem that uncommon....the blonde in me just figured out that its only the people who get upgraded who write about it.. Its been a long day!

Hi All !!

Well I went to court and I told my story.. Parked by the cement blocks that mark parking spaces, saw no signs that said we can't park there, called the courts 3 or 4 times as well as police department and noone could tell me what to pay.. The officer who gave my son the ticket was there so I spoke with him as well.. The ticket was in DH's name since he is the registered owner of DS's car.. So I'm glad I didn't mention DS's name or pull him out of school..

I waited around and guess what?? The ticket was thrown out and no fees were charged.. Soooooo I was Very happy.. and I promised the judge I will never park in the Library in the wrong area again..

DH got caught a couple months ago just two blocks from home cause he hadn't put his seatbelt on yet on the way to work. I told him he couldn't contest it cause it was only right that he pay his "I'm an idiot" fine. Guess who's always telling him to put on his seat belt??

It probably helped that your son wasn't there...they can be tough on teenagers... When i was 17 or 18 and still had my 95 neon with 120,000 miles i got pulled over for going 8 over in a road marked 45 mph. When i told him people were passing me, the police officer said he only gave me the ticket because i was a teenager and deserved to be taught a lesson!
Now i have my station wagon to disguise my inner speed demon

DS and I went to Walmart for the 50% off Halloween Sale and of course they removed ALL of the Adult Costumes and I will no way shape or form fit into a child's pirate costume soooooo no dressing for the cruise by me I do have my ears so they will have to do..

We didn't need candy, as tempting as it was at Half Off.. so we didn't buy any.. I did buy loot bags for next year.. so I won't need to run out to find more at the last minute..

I bought a small black back pack purse for $7 on Sale with Eeyore on it !!!!!

We went to BJ's Wholesale Club afterward and While we were shopping DS's work called and begged him to come in ASAP because their driver got sick.. Poor kid was starving so we bought a fresh out of the oven rotessory (sp) chicken and he ate the drumsticks on the way home.. I'm glad I keep plenty of Napkins in the car and handy wipes

I have never cruised before so I am hoping i will be happy with a Cat12 because we don't know any differant...although i wouldnt complain if they wanted to give me an upgrade, we gave DCL all of our money for the wedding
From what i hear the inside cabins are nice because the pesky sun doesnt wake you up.

He was soooooooooooooo upset and I felt so bad for him.. He was freaking out because he thought it meant points and fines and stuff.. I explained to him it wasn't a traffic violation and don't worry about it..

Pay it and it goes away.. Plus it was in DH's name.. Which freaked him out even more because now he's thinking Dad will be mad or it will mess up His driving record.. Then when I called 4 times and still had no answers of what it was for exactly and how much was it and I would go to court for it to find out, DS almost had an anxiety attack

I think I may try the Halloween Headquarters tomorrow.. but I'm not sure if they will Discount there costumes or save them for Next year.. Plus.. I'm not sure if they are still opened
