Ok, so I have a survey that I want to ask of everyone. I am in the process of "acquiring" some music from the internet to take with us on the cruise and listen to on my mp3 player and I have a question: what recommendations does everyone have for "cruisin" music?? I've "acquired" 3 or 4 steel drum band songs and some of my other personal favorites, but I'm running out of ideas. The music major in me is long gone and I can't think of anything. So please..... POST your lists!!!!

Ok, so I have a survey that I want to ask of everyone. I am in the process of "acquiring" some music from the internet to take with us on the cruise and listen to on my mp3 player and I have a question: what recommendations does everyone have for "cruisin" music?? I've "acquired" 3 or 4 steel drum band songs and some of my other personal favorites, but I'm running out of ideas. The music major in me is long gone and I can't think of anything. So please..... POST your lists!!!!

I actually use my Disney cds to get in the mood for the Disney Cruise. I'm not sure what I'd consider cruise music. But it sounds like something like steel drum or "island" music might do it. I really like Israel Kamakawiwo Ole too. Most people probably know him best for his ukulele version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"

I just joined a few days ago and already I am behind on the posts!

Last night I got my tickets to the Very Merry Christmas Party on Dec.7th. So, it is up and at work by 4 am, get off at noon, load up the hubby and 5 kids for a 3 hour treck to the Magic Kingdom, party til midnight, get back to the hotel, up the next morning for the hour drive to the port. Whew, are we there yet??

Last time I was at disney was 9 years ago. If any of you remember that was the year central Florida had many many fires and it took a lot of firefighters to keep it under control. Well, after that Disney decided to honor the firefighters and emergancy personell, so they offered free admission to any disney park for the firefighter and his family for two whole months. And any disney resort was half price. Needless to say we stayed a week and had a great time. But my youngest is now 8 and she has never been, so this will be a thrill for her.

Welcome! Just try to keep up as best you can. My DH, DrHug just hops in here occasionally and joins in, but can no way keep up daily.

Now, I have to say You live in FLORIDA and have not been to Disney in 9 years!! We live in Oregon and we go yearly!

Unless they mean like control top or tummy pantyhose stuff and those body suit things I've seen

I've never tried it but it is a thought..

Now, if they have something to make the "girls" shrink so I can actually fit into my correct body sized clothing.. I'd be in heaven

We are having a huge dilemma trying to figure out how to ensure TAR is recorded while we are on our trip. Because of Football, 60 minutes starts and ends late. Thus in turn, TAR starts and ends late, so we have to manually figure out a start and end time.

I just hope the Goth couple are not eliminated and we somehow miss DVR their show.

I've got a lot of puns too. I also can get quite raunchy in the right crowd... so I might have to bite my tongue a lot. It's something I've worked on a lot since moving from a mechanic / carpenter role to a "professional" software engineer role

Umm.. so what about us Pooh Sized women? Some of us can play with the Big Dogs when it comes to somewhat raunchy comebacks..
