I am uploading into Photo Bucket now, the pictures of it being scraped to Bare wood, Before it was painted..

We only just had it painted over the summer and I swear we lived in a bubble for a week.. All the windows were covered in plastic..

The Room on what looks like stilts is a bathroom

Originally there was No Bathroom and No Kitchen for about 40 years of it's exsistance :confused3

Bad things happen in three's right??

1) My coffee maker wouldn't work this morning
2) My toaster oven only toasted the tops of the bread
3) DH got rear ended on his commute this morning (he is fine, year old car
needs a new bumper).

Ok, now I get to go shopping and buy a new toaster oven and a new coffee maker :).

oooooooooo it is 3:15 here now.. Which mean school is getting out now.. Which means... Trick or Treaters..

Can you tell I love Halloween :confused3

Awwww  Glad DH is OK..

Umm.. did you check the toaster oven to make sure it was set to toast and not bake? Or that the rack was on top and not bottom?? Because that is what ours does if you don't have the rack in the top notch and set to toast..

Ok, I seriously need to Calm down and Chill out.. :hyper:

I keep looking out the window for Trick or Treaters like a Dog looks out the window anxiously awaiting his Master to come home.. :sad2:

Maybe if I keep posting someone will come and keep me company

:sad1:

So I asked DH if he wanted to do a MVMCP this year in December either before or after the cruise... But he said No.. :guilty:

Maybe I will get 1 ticket and just go without him :snooty:

He is such a fuddy duddy sometimes

Thank You :goodvibes

Our town past a law that all construction Must stay in the Victorian style.. Ever since they built the 1 and Only eye sore in town, closer to the River :sad2: Purple and Modern and definately does Not belong in Island Heights.. :scared:

I have a friend who lives in Long Branch and she has a semi victorian as well.. but her area is in the umm.. no so nice area.. :rolleyes1 But she is as sweet as can be and her DH does keep her and the girls safe and secure.. They do get alot of attention at times since they are a Bi Racial Couple *not sure if that is what you call it*

Fortunately, even the "not quite so nice" areas of Long Branch are improving. I live all the way at the southern end of town in the Elberon section. Many of my neighbors are multi-millionaires with homes to match. Most people have kept the old Victorians, but as the population changes, people are starting to demolish them and build stucco "McMansions". I imagine that soon we will pass an ordinance to keep the existing architecture! Most of the new construction in the newly redeveloped areas is regulated now.

Greattttttttttttt No trick or treaters yet... No one here yet... and Now I am getting a major Lag :badpc:

We saw Knocked Up. It had some slow parts, but was along the same lines as 40 Year Old Virgin as far as comedy went. It was a good date-night movie :)

What I'm ashamed to admit though is that I couldnt' stop laughing all through Superbad. It's cheesy, adolescent humor but... well... it was funny. :rolleyes1

Hey, guys. Still on page 271 but I had to make a comment about Superbad. I, too, am ashamed to admit that I laughed my a$$ off watching that. There were a few parts where I was literally crying!:rotfl2:

PS - please excuse my un-timely comments as I continue to catch up!:surfweb:

I didn;t realize someone was so close to getting a pirate.pirate:

I have to say, as I'm reading through the old posts, I have to smile as I can literally sense the competition heat up when that time rolls around. You guys can get competitive!popcorn::

My friend and her family are at the other end from you..

Yea, it is amazing to see the Money some people have.. In Florida.. we have Multi Million Dollar homes, Then ones like ours at $600,000 and we even have Townhomes in the development at $200,000

And they are selling like crazy.. The new phase to our place has started and some have lots sold already :sad2:

Yup, everything was set the way it was supposed to be. I will check out new ovens at Costco on Saturday.
