I started playing Christmas music today. It's the beginning of the holiday celebration for me.

I played one of TransSiberian Orchestra's albums on the drive to and from work. It is very hard rock music and I love to crank it up. We've gone to their concert twice and it is amazing.

Tonight I ordered my VISA Disney Rewards cards for my account and my DW's. More to spend on the cruise.

I also transferred our Discover reward to our checking account. Just getting everything in order.

I reminded Dennis he needs to do this. He said he wants to wait until Nov billing. It comes early in the month for us, so we should have plenty of time to get the card.

This is very hard rock Christmas music??? Dennis would enjoy your cranked up music! Funny, he plays it so loud in his car that we can hear him coming up the driveway. The kids/grandkids would say "Dad's home!" when they heard the rocking out music. As teenagers our kids would routinely turn DOWN the radio in Dad's car before they would start it. Big old kid, he's just a big old kid.

Oh yeah! I completely forgot about the "extras." In addition to my $95 in change, I also have a $2 bill, a Washington gold dollar, two Sacajewea gold dollars, two wheat pennies, 1 British pence, 15 Australian cents, and 3 Euros. Anyone's kids collect coins?

My DGD collects foreign coins. If you would bring a few, I'll give you the equivalent in American coins!

We just ordered pizza and salad for dinner. The kids are out, it's just the two of us, and we just don't feel like cooking!

So weird you said that. I just pulled out the crockpot today for the first time since we moved (over 6 months ago). I made red beans and rice with kielbasa sausage. Well, the red beans and kielbasa with all the extras and spices and stuff are in the crockpot. I'll make some rice when DH calls to say he's on his way home. Yum, yum.

I love my crockpot! I'd be lost without it during the winter. We make lots of soups, stews and chili!
