It's already 68 degrees here and it's 6:30 am I thought it was suppose to be Autumn

I think Bill & Jennifer & the kids were leaving to come home today.. I remember Jennifer telling Bill they should stay just 1 more day.. And I agreed since I'd be there tomorrow..

It's quite chilly here too - even inside. Even though the sun is actually shining for a change? Usually we can put our sunglasses away for 7-8 months of the year.

Did you guys already turn your clocks back? We turn ours back this Saturday night - an extra hour of sleep!

Nope, if I remember correctly it is Next week for us.. November 3rd into the 4th I believe..

I got an Email back from the Concierge saying we could have some tables in Sessions on a "non exclusive" basis on Sunday for the bridal shower.

I'm thinking that Sunday is not a good day, as is it formal night and folks will have hair appointments and such, right Stacy?

So now I'm asking if we can get some extra chairs in my suite on Monday. That'll give us more flexibility and we can order lots of room service.

Nope. Only for 90 days and 75 days it is midnight eastern so it likely is the same. Who are they opening it for at 45 days?

I was thinking it wasn't an official release day, just a sort of a "custom" or whatever that they release extra tables at various points along the way. However I am having a TERRIBLE time keeping track, even with the paper chain the kids made--I am always getting them to WAIT, we're ahead of ourselves or OH, we forgot today we remove three links...So, quick scan, tere are 46 red and green construction paper links hanging in my front window--am I on? (My ticker is NOT helpful, 1 month 2 weeks whatever--is it a 30 day month? A 31? Leap year?? ) Anyway, midnight eastern is 1 am here and I'm not so good at that during the week at least...

We are flying out on Friday for this cruise... Spending the night at our house.. then cruising.. Then spending the night at our house.. and flying home Sunday..

We have a Pre Cruise and a Post cruise day set up.. Maybe even MK on Post cruise day

So, I'm guessing you have an AP? I was thinking about getting in a day or two on one end (we arrive on the 6th and don't leave til the 20th) but the tickets seem soooo expensive for a day or two, and we have no reason to buy an AP this year. I looked at MVMCP but $200 for one night, with kids that may well not make it past nine pm...too much.

But I will be checking in tomorrow, on and off, all day.. I need my Dis fix since I'm going cold Turkey for 4 days

Isn't that funny? Dh and I have been talking about whether we drag the laptop, and he knows it's mostly so I can chat...not just with you guys (seeing as we'll be THERE!), I have a moms' group I've been part of for--oh, about 9 years now.

I am thrilled that DST doesn't end until Nov 3 in North America this year. I always HATED the way it ended mere days before Hallowe'en, plunging us into darkness just when you're hoping for a little glimmer of sunset to navigate...

Nor does he carry the heavy baskets..

And the dirty clothes get stored in Baskets 3 floors above the washer & dryer

I just leave the laundry basket at the bottom of the stairs. If dh wants clean undies he will bring it up. Or my eldest son will bring it upstairs for me.

We will be there 5 days before the cruise. We buy 10 day never expire and they last us 2 or 3 years. We have 3 days left on our last ones and a new set to start on. We have lots of "Never Been to the World" family with us, so we will do all 4 parks.....Epcot several times.

Thanks! It was hard, but she just wasn't feeling herself for the last couple of weeks. She didn't want to play, all she wanted to do was lay in the sunlight. BTW, congrats on the ! I still don't have any, and have now made it my official goal to avoid them! Will that make me a damsel in distress?

Good morning everybody! I'm in my office trying to get myself organized, but it's just not happening. I have too many things that I need to talk to my boss about, and he's got a dental emergency and won't be here until this afternoon, so all of that stuff has to wait.

Our post-cruise plans aren't quite set yet, but I am ordering our train tickets tomorrow, so then I'll know for sure. We will be returning to WDW for at least two days, and maybe three. I have plenty of vacation time, but Jim doesn't, so we have to weigh the idea of an extra day at WDW against whether it's worth losing a day's pay. I'd be willing to bet the answer to that question will turn out to be yes since the hotel is already paid for!

Well, I guess I'll go and find something useful to do. I'll be back later!
