Have you seen the wildfires in CA? I called DSis yesterday and it looks like they are in the clear, as is a friend in San Diego. But I heard my former house in San Diego was evacuated - soooo glad I decided to sell it when I left!

I was there in 2004 during the fires, and that was pretty scary. I had the car packed up and ready to go, but luckily the winds shifted before I had to evacuate. Luckily DD was with her Dad in CO at the time, so that was one less thing to worry about. It was crazy though it was like the whole world was on fire.

OK I really do need to get to work, but I'm procrastinating as I need to review an 800 page document.

We are flying out on Friday for this cruise... Spending the night at our house.. then cruising.. Then spending the night at our house.. and flying home Sunday..

We have a Pre Cruise and a Post cruise day set up.. Maybe even MK on Post cruise day

I'm hoping the 2009 itineraries are announced soon. The latest word seems to be that they will be staying close to home. That's good news for DCL since the dollar is so weak.

We've got soccer this evening, plus we need to continue working on DD's video production about Jaguars for her school project. She has some pretty funny scenes in mind.

The 11 year old who's been staying with us goes back to her Mom after school today - Mom got in late last night. So I'm down to 2 girls and 1 DISdog.

I forgot to tell you I never did get to see Knocked Up. When the DVD came, it had a big crack in it! I just got the replacement, and will watch it soon though.
