08 DEC 2007 - 7 Day Eastern Magic Part 2

It's my understanding that more will be released, maybe at 45 days (which isn't too far off), maybe at 30, but it's not a given... I've been told we should have no trouble getting them once we're on board, but for me, I'd like to have as much done as possible before we leave. Also, I guess cancellations are possible--that's how I got dd into CRT at WDW, 20 calls and on the 21st...though with a fully pre-paid group at this point, I expect it's less of a factor.

We're trying to book lunch too. I check everyday, but figure I'll end up headin' to Rockin' D as soon as we board to grab a reservation.

I also keep checking to see what stateroom we'll be in - it's still showing GTY.

Just checking in--

We decided at the last minute to go out for dinner, and had a good meal. I've done two loads of laundry and some other stuff, and now I'm ready to settle down for the evening. I have a baby sweater to finish knitting before Friday for my DDIL's new nephew who is being adopted from Korea. The new parents are in Korea now picking him up. They just sent home a bunch of pictures, and it looks like the sweater will fit him just fine...if I can get it finished! So I'm off to knit for a while.

I may be back later, unless I fall asleep while I'm working.

Did you ever get your answer about a Menorah?

Nothing definitive at all. I know flame at sea is a no-no, so I expect it would be simulated. I just had to laugh about the whole thing really. We were at DL in November of 2005 and literally at DTD there was this two foot display of Hannukah related items among all of the feet of Christmas related items.

Jim is actually helping--he carries the laundry back upstairs for me, and then helps sort, fold and put it away. And that, my friends, will be my last post for this evening. I'm turning off the computer and heading to my knitting, or poor little Ryan will be wearing a sweater that has only one sleeve and no back!

We watched Prison Break and Heroes back to back and Dominic Keating had a role in both. We were like "HEY!!!!!".

DH and I are officially "not doing" Palo, so I think I'm all set now. Just have to make sure I get to the ship before it takes off and we're good. It's kind of a relief... I didn't want to stress about the timing of getting there.

As is stands, I had another dream.....

In this one, we were on the ship, walking around, when I suddenly realized it was 5pm. Then I realized that meant I had completely missed the DIS meet and I was trying to figure out how it had gotten so late because we had missed lunch too. So I went to the nearest elevator to go to Deck 10 to see if anyone was still around. When I got in, the buttons for floors went from 1-3 and then skipped to 16-22. So I hit the 16, and when I got out of the elevator and looked around, I saw the ship across the port from me. We weren't even on the ship anymore!

So weird. I ate some vanilla wafers before I went to bed.

DS would Sleep Walk every time he had Milk products before bed..

Nope. Only for 90 days and 75 days it is midnight eastern so it likely is the same. Who are they opening it for at 45 days?
