Can it be????

Only 6 MORE MONDAYS       .........

until Jason, Bill, Robby, and Randy kick all the teens out of the Stack and take over the video games!!!!

Psst - If I were you guys, I'd let the teens have the Stack and go hit Ocean Quest down on deck 2!:tiptoe:

Hey!!! I wanna raid the Stack too... :yay: I was soooo upset I couldn't play "Gotcha" last time when DS was with us.. And as a Proud Momma.. MY son was the ONLY one who was able to poison the counselor and Score a Big point Bonus and Win the game !!! :cloud9:

And... I play a Pretty Mean game of DDR :dance3:

My only concern would be... For 10,000 .... We may need to give 10 pirate: depending on who *cough* Brack *cough* has the Higest level of Pirates..

Meaning... As it stands right now at this moment.. if any of use were to get 10,000 and 5 pirate: We STILL wouldn't beat Brack... Sooooooo when we get down to the last few pirate: We will need to make the "Bonus" amount enough that someone could beat the Top pirate: Poster's Count..

Ok.. um.. did you all Understand that? :confused3 I almost confused myself :headache:

Ah, that would make the next 3,000 posts all the more interesting......:rolleyes1

Seriously though, I'm just the scribe. Whatever the group wants to do is fine with me. Seriously! (sooooo glad that Grey's Anatomy is on again :happytv: )

Pfft.. Better watch it doesn't end up Stuffed in YOUR stocking.. :rolleyes1

:lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

GOOD MORNING, CRUISERS!!! A few more hours and we will have another Monday under our belts! :dance3:

I am anxious to hear how Bill and Jennifer's weekend went. :)

Oh and thanks for everyone's input and info about what to do coming down - hubby really wants to see the shuttle go up so we are planning hoping to see it but if not we will still go down there as I assume there is something to visit ??? will check on that later - he is really wanting to do that.

So here is what we ended up doing:

we fly in from Memphis at MCO on December 5. (still have to get hotel). Will do dinner and something disney that night. On the 6th rent a car and go to where the shuttle is ( it is late and I cannot think :) ) and then on the 7th do Epcot and CP - the 8th go to the cruise - on the 15th go back to disney and on the 16th fly back to Memphis on the late flight.

Oh and I still have to find my hubby's Magic Your Way Ticket from almost 3 years ago! They still have days on them - not sure how many - but they do have days I know as they were 10 day tickets and we did not even stay that long! Mine and the kids I have but his I gave to him so i would not loose it :) and now we cannot find his. But I will go to the safety deposit box this week and see if it is there. And if it is not there he will go through his desk when he comes home on December 3rd - as I will not touch his desk because I will not get things back in the correct place. :)

Your plans sound perfect! If the shuttle is not scheduled that day, you might enjoy taking the tour of Cape Canaveral anyway. If you are at all interested in the space program it is an interesting thing to see.

Good morning!

Of those six Mondays, I have three of them off, and I will be at WDW for one of those!:banana::banana:

I guess maybe I should start thinking about things like booking my train fare? I really wanted to do it this weekend, but with all the upset about the cat, I just didn't get to that. However, while checking some fares the other day, I discovered that I can fly home for only about $15/pp more than taking the train. That would mean I can stay one more day at WDW. I'll have to give that a lot of thought, and then make that decision tonight, or I'll find myself walking back and forth to Orlando!

Well, I have some work to do, so I'll check back later!

Beth

:lmao: :rotfl: Stacking the deck! :lmao: :lmao: Yeah, I like that! :lmao: :rotfl:

Angie, I think you mentioned some rain on your cruise last December.....was that wet or dry?

Beth, very sorry to hear about the loss of your cat.

Awwww Beth.. I'm sorry for your loss.. :guilty:

My Vet informed me my cat will need to be on a perscription diet for the rest of his life :sad2: He keeps getting crystals in his bladder..

Has anyone here thrown a High School Graduation Party for a Boy?

My son will be graduating in June and I would really like to throw him a party.. Now he is very laid back and will just go with the flow so whatever I decide he will just Go With.. :sad2: When I ask him I get the typical " I don't know" :confused3

He isn't sure what kind of party he wants or where so I am left with planning it ALL out.. Hall, Food, DJ, Rentals.. etc etc..

Now, my son is NOT a dancer.. so I was trying to do something different then the typical "Reception" type party.. but still fun for ALL the guests..

Any ideas?

Stacy, can't help you with the party. But I was wondering how your son's friend is. Is he with grandparents or mother and evil stepfather? (I hope that he is not the friend who passed away recently)

When my son graduated from high school, we held an all day BBQ in the yard. His friends and relatives could drop in when convenient.
When our daughter graduated, she did not want a party because she wanted to be free to go to all the other parties and not stay home.

Thank you for asking.. No, he isn't that one who passed away.. That was an elderly gentleman on the same First Aid Squad my son is on..

He is OK.. Still with Mom & Step Father but other then yelling or making him feel like he is worth nothing.. He is safe.. I think they are afraid to attempt anything knowing they may still be getting "watched"

His parents said they were taking him and moving away.. but, hopefully that won't happen..

He won't be 18 til the end of August so he may end up with no choice but to go..

He is still grounded until furter notice but He sees and talks to my son every school day.. They share the same Vocational bus..

Beth, very sorry to hear about the loss of your cat.

As I recall it was a dry rain that lasted just a short time, but long enough to make an outside wedding iffy so it was moved inside.:thumbsup2

When my DS graduated (remember, this was a lot of years ago) he didn't want a party at a hall. He wanted his party to be a few days after graduation so that his friends could come and not be tied up with their own graduation festivities. Long Branch HS graduated on a Thursday night, so we had the party a week later on the weekend. We had a big cookout in our back yard, invited all of his friends, our friends and families and bought enough one-day beach passes that any guests could go to the beach if they wanted (we lived within a quick walk of the beach). The total cost, including refreshments and beach passes, was still less than hiring a band or DJ and renting a hall.

Our out-of-town family and friends appreciated the free beach day, and his friends liked the idea that they could just relax and not have to be in "party mode" after all of their own parties. He still says that his friends enjoyed the fact that it was just something different, and they still talk about that day.

I guess I quoted you too soon :rolleyes1

Well I was looking at it like this... If my son ever gets married, I won't be included in the Planning of the Wedding Reception... so this will be his Last event I can give him :sad1:

Agree, a bbq with folks in and out would be my recommendation also.

If they try to make him move away he might be able to petition the court for emancipation since he is so close to 18, being made to move in his last year of school and has grandparents that would be willing to house him.

Thanks. She had a cut on her ear which got infected, the vet treated it with antibiotics, and she seemed to be getting better, then just went into a decline. She was never a really healthy cat, though. She was always kind of small (even though she was a little more than two years old) and not overly energetic. We didn't even know that the mother was pregnant until we happened to walk into the kitchen just in time to see her being born! We don't even know when the mother was outside long enough to become pregnant, because all of our cats have always been "inside cats".
