I just had the worst scare of my life--the woman of "the annoying people" who aren't going to St. Maarten on our day just called--she heard that DCL is offering REALLY good discounts on the Dec. 8 cruise. She called her husband to get him to book it and they would take the grand-children as a Hanukkah gift. She called back a little while later and gave me the news--the kids can't miss school that week because of some special testing program they're having. I am the luckiest woman in the world right now--that's twice that they've been blocked out of my vacation! It's beginning to look to me like this vacation is really just meant to be!

What's so sad and funny at the same time is that this sounds just like my DH! I wouldn't be surprised if your DS tortures the woman he marries with the same habit.

I won't go into details since you will all be meeting this man, after all (and he'd kill me for details), but let's just say every time I need to do a load of laundry for the necessities, I have to go on a scavenger hunt.

And... that would be reason #112 we don't have kids yet.... I'll post more as I think of them.

I figured out after many years of marriage that DH was just trying to add a bit of challenge to my job by putting one sock under the bed and the mate in the back of the closet. I had to do quite a bit of detective work to find them all! Funny, after about 38 years of marriage, on his own he started rolling the socks together and putting them in the laundry basket!!
