On our last cruise one of our DISers was scheduled to have her ceremony on the secret deck 7 and all of us where going to deck 8 to cheer and take pictures. It was raining that day so it was done in the piano bar at the far forward part of the ship. I have pictures.

I have to say I totally disagree. My DH looks absolutely hot in a speedo. His tanned body is just divine. I am also proud of my body after having my baby and I am bringing my thong.

I know it's REALLY slow. So HOW much are people saving by switching to Geico, I mean a GTY 12??

600 to 700 dollars from a Cat 11 to a 12, depending on when you booked and what you paid at the time. More if you are moving from a higer (lower) level of cabin.

So Pooh_Girl was asking me a question and I thought I would double check on here to make sure I was telling her right. So if we book a GTY Cat 12, we get the difference back, whatever that is. And if there are no Cat 12s available, then they upgrade you to another room?? Is that correct so far?? So if we went from our Cat 11 down to a GTY Cat 12, we might get a Cat 12 and we might get a Cat HIGHER than our 11, right?? And Disney doesn't charge you for the upgrade, it's just part of the Disney Customer Service Gamble. Am I telling her everything right? Thanks!!!!

Exactly right. And the 12s are the same as the 11s except for location.

I have always been intrigued by taking a vacation between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Has anyone cruised at this time? I'll see if I can read the last couple of pages as there are way too many to read from the beginning.

Here's another question, and I'll apologize in advance. Whenever I'm making a decision I look at EVERY possibility and angle before deciding. How do they give you the difference?? Is it ship credit or do they mail you a check?? Or put it back on your credit card?? Or just give you 5 $100 bills when you check in??? I can see Pooh_Girl now when we check in: "Can I get those in 20s and 10s!!"

It is returned to whatever card you used to pay.

Well now I'm REALLY confused. What if your credit card balance is at zero?? How do they add a credit when there's nothing there?? For instance, my TA is my DSIL and I have been making all of our payments to her personally, and she's been putting our trip on her credit card, so that she could get the Disney Reward points. So if we do this, then they are going to credit her with however much money and she has to write a check to me?? Is that correct? My head really hurts now.

Yes, they will credit you SIL, she would need to give it back to you.

Seems like a very fun bunch and the price you all keep talking about sounds pretty tempting. I do not follow some of the comments as they seem rather random but it appears that people are passionate about their pirates. What is the story behind that?

This comment shocks me a little and its inappropriateness seems a little out of character for this group from what I have read.

We have cruised DCL several times during the first 2 weeks of Dec. We love the decorations and time away from the Northwest rain.
